When our old boiler broke down and was beyond economical repair, Power Plus Heating came to the rescue. Dean was fantastic over the phone—he answered all our questions clearly and set us up with a tailored, affordable package that suited our needs perfectly.

Adam and Liam handled the installation and were absolutely brilliant. They were punctual, clean, and incredibly thorough. They explained everything about the new boiler system in a way that was easy to understand. They may have had a few too many cups of tea—but honestly, they earned them!

My boiler was leaking water.
I called multiple companies, after which I came out across the contact of Power Plus Heating.
I was put through to an engineer straight away, and was reassured over the phone that the problem was manageable and an engineer would be out first thing the next day.
The engineer, Adam, was top class. He was very polite and down to earth, and identified the problem quickly, which was a faulty diverter valve.
The problem was solved swiftly and I have not had any further issues.
I was so impressed, I decided to use them again for a radiator change and my annual boiler service rather than the usual so-called big companies I have used before.
I am so happy I came across this company in an emergency, I will never be using anyone else again.
Adam is a very professional knowledgeable engineer. He gave advice how I could take care of my boiler system myself, which I’ve not found from any trades people before.

From the get go Sab was polite, clear and thorough and well communicative in his approach. Including breaking down all options in as detailed way as possible. He came to quote to repair something in our old boiler (new home) that had previously been repaired only a week before by someone else where major issues were missed. Sab gave us a breakdown of fixing the boiler or the option for replacement and full service which he explained in the long run (in writing) that this would be more cost effective and less risky than fixing the problem with a new part in our old boiler which could fail in short time. As a result, we decided to have our boiler replaced and drain the system/split the flush and restore and service the radiators in our home. He showed passion in what he does, and also like I say he was very meticulous. I am a tradesperson myself, so these qualities on the flipside are invaluable to me as a customer.
The works were undertaken with care and efficiency, Sab came on multiple visits, working around our schedule, once with his apprentice and another time and also then finally with his electrician Naz for the install. Sab and his team were very friendly, courteous and did everything they said they would, carried out with ease. I would highly recommend Sab, Power Plus Heating.

Power Plus Heating did a great job for us. They fitted a quality boiler within a day, came back to flush our heating system and ensured all our radiators were piping hot. They also gave us maintenance advice, made sure we knew how to bleed the heaters correctly and keep the correct settings on the boiler. Sab was very informative in teaching us how to take care of our heating system, and answered all of our concerns.

Recently moved into my house and to my horror discovered a leaking lead pipe! I found Jack The Plumber via SWT website and they are registered with them. The process of getting an urgent booking to fix the leak was excellent and quoted a reasonable price. As it’s Good Friday Bank Holiday, I was not charged extra for the work!

Two very nice and friendly plumbers fixed the problem swiftly! They had to cut away at the floor to access the water pipe. The leaking section was replaced and a new stopcock was installed (previous one was knackered).

Messaged Jack The Plumber as my shower wasn’t working properly and my kitchen tap needed changing. Small jobs for someone with expertise but huge to me. Jack answered my messages straight away and put my mind at ease. I sent photos of what I needed sorting via text and received a quote straight away. Within 48 hours Jack and his team had quoted, turned up (on time) and fixed the issues.

Sean was fantastic. I called him Sunday afternoon with a pipe leaking underneath floorboards – within the hour he’d replaced the damaged section of pipe and discovered and fixed a surprise second leak in the boiler! He explained what he was doing, gave me lots of advice for drying/fixing the flooring and didn’t mind when the cat got curious! Would 100% recommend.

Did what was said on the tin, Swift Emergency Plumber. This is the second time I have used Sean’s services. The first for a faulty and noisy bathroom sink tap where the fault was quickly found and fixed. The second was to disconnect an old gas oven and for a gas safety check on the house. Everything was done professionally, quickly, and to a high quality for a very reasonable price. Sean was also very friendly and trustworthy. He has become my go to plumber – Highly recommend!

I ordered a 117L indirect vented cylinder which got delivered in an awful condition, secondly it was missing the heating coil inside, the cylinder was clearly returned from a previous plumber and BES did not check…I’m now 2 days out of pocket waiting for a redelivery and the older lady on customer service was rude and abrupt…

We ordered from BES online and the items were delivered the next day. We were informed by email of delivery time and they arrived on time. We are more than happy with the product and a great price.

So as a retired plumber , i order with BES from time to time, however this time they sent me about £800 worth of gas valves WHICH were NOT mine. After a few emails/phone calls, and me repacking , and driving to the post office I kindly sent them back to BES . What did BES do ? Naff all ! , not even a thank you for your honesty, help, time and labour and effort in returning our lost gas valves , and also the folk who paid and ordered them benifited too
Shamfull I say, shamfull.
PS in fact BES called me out as a “False review” Ive directed to this review.

Good service for what i paid for, came on time and i was kept informed along the way. But a bit disappointed with my purchase as it wasn’t the standard usual size of about 100mm / 4″. So had to make a few adjustments that added time to the job, as I was hoping it would be a straightforward replacement.
I guess I should of thought of everything and not had taken it for granted that it would be the size they have been for years, and checked the specifications, as the iteams descriptions can be a bit sparse on the Website.

My item was booked in for a Sunday delivery with DPD and has not turned up. The tracking is showing it is still sat at the depot. It seems pointless to me giving the option of a Sunday delivery of the courier is not gonna deliver it

Called at 4:28pm today 24/6/2025 A women answered on option 3 via keypad selection was extremely rude then hung up on me!

I was trying to ask information about product they sell, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, never have I had an experience like this.

The person who answer needs better training unless this is just how they operate.

Billy rescued our kitchen from a triple blockage of outlets from washing machine, main sink and rinse sink. He well deserves the 5 star rating for the promptness of his response, the immediacy of the remedial process he embarked on, flushing the labyrinth of twisted pipes of the massive amount of grunge which we had no idea was lurking there – till it blocked! A thorough and meticulous expert on central heating, boilers and plumbing in general in our experience of him.

Came home to a burst pipe in my kitchen. Phoned Ideal, and he came out within 20 minutes, fixed the problem, cleaned after. Really nice man, polite and a good worker. Highly recommended.

GD plumbing are highly professional services. They have done a bathroom installation in the utility room, under staircse toilet installation, a few radiators installations me. The complex shower system and all the hot and cold water plumbing and electrics have been done to high standards. The tiling and doors etc are also done with high aesthetic standards. They have been very reliable and approachable for any issues afterwards. All the work was finished in short period as promised. I will highly recommend them.

I had a leak on my central heating system, water all over the floor and running down wall. Gee explained what was required and how much it would be. I have used 2nd city for the last 10 years , for a variety of plumbing and heating problems I have had in different properties.
Have always found them to be professional, any issues I have had , have normally been resolved quickly with a call to their office or a call from Mark , who I believe is one of the owners.

I would like to share the disgusting experience i had with 2nd city Gas, plumbing and heating service.
I am a woman who works from home alone. 2 workmen were in my house for 3 minutes and charged me £90!!
I was advised it was £90 for the first HOUR on the phobe prior to the call out.
I explained that the pump or cartridge in the tap was “playing up ” . They turned the tap on and agreed.
They did not remove the bath panel to check underneath the taps.They then advised it needed new taps at the cost of £380 plus VAT =total of £465 .They then asked for £90 for just turning on the taps !!! And they wanted it to be paid in CASH or they would “get in to trouble “
I was told they would sit of the drive until it was paid in full . Which made made me feel uncomfortable and angry.
I told them i would have to pay over the phone and asked for an invoice. They didn’t have an invoice book and wrote with a pencil on a “quotation pad” he crossed out the word quotation and wrote invoice on the top of the paper. The office asked for an invoice number which they didn’t have so he just made a number up and wrote it on the paper too.how does that work with the tax office ??? If they had checked and tried to get it to work then i would have had no issues paying but 3 minutes in the house is just ripping people off .
I rang “quickfind” and they advised they didnt agree with them asking for cash and sitting on the drive until paid and that the “boss mark ” would telephone me
But… he never did !
I am absolutely appalled with my expericence with this company and how i was treated as a paying customer

Our shower power button broke and so we had to stop the shower turning the water main to the shower off.
Upon phoning 2nd city Gas Pluming and Heating service, Julie was very helpful and was able to send James out next day first thing. James diagnosed the issue and we knew straight away a new was needed. The earliest appointment they had was after Bank Holiday (understandable). But I managed to find another plumber at similar cost to fit a new shower sooner.

Thank you to Julie and James for their great professionalism and being ready to sort us out at their earliest appointment slots. Although we didn’t go with them on this occasion, I will definitely look to this company should any further emergencies arise.

I am severely disappointed by this service as I trusted it due to its positive reviews. According to a friend I paid double what the job should’ve costed. And the job wasn’t even well done! Beware of this greedy business and take your business elsewhere.

I can’t thank Mark and the lads at 2nd City enough for the help and support they have given me over the years with the continued issues with my new build home Valiant boiler. It has been very unreliable but he has always rectified my issues rapidly and at a very reasonable cost.

This company came out to my father in-law who is 84 told him boiler scrap and quoted him in total £3862 I done a little research to find out circuit board is problem under £400 for a new one I understand business and profit but I also understand rip off company’s will post a picture of Bill on facbook I will send you a copy of receipt so you can check hi we could have purchased a second hand board but no guarantee so paid for a new circuit board and service £462 that includes vat

Diffcult job with a old chimney liner handled very well and with the humour needed whren getitg covered in 50 year old soot! Recommended.

Manol gave us a great idea on refitting our bathroom. Quicker and cheaper but also a much more stylish looking bathroom. We got everything we wanted and it’s a great looking bathroom. It took an extra couple of days than planned but we definitely recommend Manol for great quality plumbing.

Kenan was fantastic! He came over to remove our radiator and also sorted out a leak in our downstairs radiator while he was here. He was punctual, professional, and really efficient with the job. These guys really know what they are doing. Had an issue with low shower pressure another plumber had looked at and not been able to resolve. I believe it was Kenan who attended our job and he had it sorted within 10 minutes. We did have a few issues with the booking form for the job, but overall, great experience.

After attempting to replace my kitchen taps I was left with a messy kitchen and frustrated.
