Unfortunately, I have a negative experience. According to the working hours of this office, they are open from 10:00. I waited 30 minutes, after 10:00 they did not open, I had to contact another organization.

Brilliant rates in the whole of Birmingham, better than Ria. Excellent customer service as well, I was running a bit late and the owner rang to check on me and kept the shop open, and helped me getting the money before my trip.

Reason for bad review is that they only take cash. Even though they have card machine they will not take payment on card. I suppose that makes laundering money easier for them.
They will give you highest denomination of the currency you are buying. Even when low denomination notes are available

Alex took the time to fully explain the benefits of the Travelex card. As this product is completely new to me, I appreciated his patience.
Travelex seems like a great alternative to use abroad, avoiding the inevitable charges and complicated processes that come with personal debit and credit cards when away from your home country. It’s easy to setup and I’ve used it twice so far with no problems at all.

I just wanted to make a special mention to John at Travelex Birmingham. This young man showed care and compassion and went out of his way to make sure I was ok. I wasn’t a customer just a mum dropping off her 16 year old son at the airport and I got upset. On passing the Travelex desk John asked if I was ok and if I need a hug. Thank you John for caring. Travelex are very lucky to have such a thoughtful employee.

Alex at BHX was amazing today. Very helpful individual, definitely one Travelex should consider keeping and rewarding. I have had 4 or more experiences at Travelex BHX, all of which was disappointing until I had the pleasure of being served by Alex who went the extra mile to get me the currency I needed. He also helped me figure how to make it easier on my next trip. Thanks Alex!

Our Travelex card will not work in the UK several phone calls to the help desk can’t resolve the issue. The call centre people speak english with a strong accent so unable to understand what they are saying.

Didn’t have the currency I wanted but very kindly offered me a Travelex Card with the currency loaded on, which was good service until I realised how rubbish the exchange rate was and over 100 Forint to the pound less than the actual rate of exchange. I asked the teller John what the exchange rate was & he said about the same as I was given which was nonsense & he was probably aware of this.

Avoid it! The ATM machine service is a shame and a scum tricking the users into a poor exchange rates and fees. For £105.71 we got 100€. In any bank we would get 123.79€, so we lost 20% of the euros. Shame, it is not the service you would expect from a reputable business. I will never again use Travelex!

When traveling and looking for the best rates, I always seem to end up at Eurochange.

Today I was served by Rob who was very patient with me and listened intently to my question and request.

As we walk in we were greeted by mr Bob his customer service was excellent I ask him about exchanging my US dollars to both pounds and some Euro he explained to us about the different currencies then I gave him our money for the exchange he was very kind he smile gave us our money so from now on that’s the only place I will give my business and I will tell all my friends about this place thank you very much and keep up your good work thank you very much ❤️

I went to this exchange office to get new pound notes, as I only had the old ones. They charged me an outrageous 9% commission, and to make matters worse, the clerk repeatedly insisted it was impossible exchange the money at the Post Office. Days later, I confirmed that it was absolutely possible to do it at the Post Office – and without any extra cost. This was not a mistake; it was a deliberate lie to take advantage of a customer.

Soochan was extremely helpful at very short notice, providing Turkish Lire for our holiday immediately, while we waited. It is great to be able to get this level of service from Asda, and the staff are always very polite and helpful.

Shereen from the queslett branch was extremely friendly and helpful whilst using travel money. She is an assest to the company. We will be sure to use asda travel money in the future due to shereens exceptional customer service skills

Sat here like a lemon waiting for the place to open. Its 30mins late already and ive got a large wedge of money on me to convert back to pounds via the “buy back”- in the middle of Northield, which is moody at the best of times

I went to get euros and the girls Lisa and Tracy where so helpfully whilst lisa was sorting my euros out Tracy was talking to my kids about their holiday she was great with them.Lisa had then asked if the kids would like any euros coins they did so between Lisa and Tracy they had separate the money into 3 envelopes both of my kid where so excited to have there own envelope with there money in it and it was thanks to lisa and Tracy for making our experience great. I went to pick up my click and collect ordercurrency today and it was really busy when I arrived at the branch. when I was served I was served by a lady named Tracy she was lovely and welcoming and her colleague with the tattoos sorry i forgot her name but she was lovely to they both spoke to me and both where very professionally and even tho they where busy they where still full of smiles. You are both credits to the company. Will definitely return when I need more currency. thank you both.

I’ve just watched this shop close tonight, not only was it a minute early (so what), but a bag of rubbish was thrown outside the shop by the employee. I’m disgusted. Not only is this surely brand damaging but also, a trip hazard at the bottom of the stairs in the bullring! Awful! There’s a bin right by the stairs! This is lazy and dangerous!

Honestly had a great experience. I ordered online a few currencies and it was really easy and transparent. It came a few days later for me to collect. The staff was friendly and nice.
When I came back, I took what I had left to change it back to pounds. Again the staff was professional, transparent and helpful. I would personally recommend them.

I have been served by Steven who was very helpful and chatty. He was smiling and gave me the best customer service here, as in the past I was always served by woman whom were very arrogant.Finally I had a good experience and felt happy when I left. I believe every person who faces clients should be monitored closely to make sure even if they have a bad day they don’t put that on the customer.

If rudeness and incompetence were a person, it would certainly be the girl who served me today, well, the one who DIDN’T want to serve me.
She should feel ashamed of her disgusting behavior.

I don’t know her name, but she have long, straight, and black hair. Greenish eyes. I guess she’s Indian or Pakistani. Light skin and not fit at all.

She made me leave, saying that the service I requested was not possible.
So how is it possible that I did it before and I can do it in another eurochange? Magic?

I came back to explain it to her, with my receipt from the other store confirming that I made my transaction correctly and she didn’t even apologize, she even threatened me and keep saying she’s not going to do it never.

The most ridiculous and crazy thing that has ever happened to me.
I’ve come to this establishment many times but I will never come again.

She needs to learn how to treat people and of course someone should train her again because she has NO IDEA how the service she offers works. What a shame.
