Could not fault the service, the salon or the stylist - and at 50 with many years of awful haircuts behind me, that’s not something I say lightly!Cecile cut my hair, she was brilliant! She made me feel so comfortable, I could not be more delighted with the beautiful results and would happily recommend her to everyone!!If you’re reading reviews (like I was yesterday) wondering if you should book, the answer is YES you should! As someone who always believed I had closer to type 2B hair, Ellesha achieved beautiful natural curls in my hair all the way from the root which I didn’t know were possible. What an absolute talent!I was also nervous to have my hair dyed for the first time to cover my greys, but she reassured me through the whole process. And while the colour perfectly matches my natural shade, it really brings out the richer tones and looks so gorgeous - I had to make plans to go out last night just to show it off!

I had an appointment with Cecile on the 22nd of December, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. Cecile was warm, professional, and kind, making me feel completely at ease. Her advice and the haircut were the best I’ve ever had, I left feeling confident and so pleased. This salon is a gem, and it was worth every penny. I’ll definitely be returning!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had a fantastic experience with Ellesha, she gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve had in years. From the moment I walked in she made me feel comfortable and welcomed. Her energy was great, and she shared some really helpful tips for my hair. It was also refreshing that we didn’t have the typical hairdresser chat, it felt more relaxed and genuine. The other staff were lovely too, even though I didn’t catch their names. I’ll definitely be coming back!

As someone who has wild anxiety about getting her hair cut, I hadn’t stepped foot into an actual salon in 16 years until I came across Strand & Lock. Danny was beyond amazing, he was friendly, listened to what you wanted, gave great hair care advice and was genuinely an absolute joy to spend a few hours with! Loved the products used, loved the haircut, loved the whole experience (especially being blessed with Casper, which was the cherry on top!), I cannot recommend Danny or the salon enough. I strutted out the salon feeling confident, feeling in love with my natural curls again and looking forward to my next trip to the salon, which is HUGE for me. Thank you Danny, you are the best thing since sliced bread.
