Had a screen issue with my 2017 Mac and was at my wits end trying to get a repair done for cheaper than what Apple were charging. Kevin was the only Birmingham based business that got back to me. V affordable price and I even went for a storage upgrade too. Been a couple of weeks now and it’s like a brand new laptop. Cannot thank Kevin enough, great guy!

To say that Kevin is a genius is truly an understatement. I brought my laptop to him after it had died for over 5 months due to "water damage".What I appreciate the most Is his passion for his craft and his professionalism.He was able to bring my MacBook pro back to life in literally 24hours,and was very conscientious with giving the best service without breaking the bank.I would recommend him to anyone as I fully trust his capabilities. Having a warranty added onto the service is just the cherry on top!

I had a fault with my MacBook Pro touch bar this I was due to a tiny crack in the inside of the Touch Bar screen that was stopping it from functioning properly and as a result of this the end segment was missing.I took it down to the Apple Store in Birmingham who quoted me a massive £580 just to replace it. so I started looking for Specialists who could repair it but every one I took it to refused it as it is a very complexed and difficult repair to do.Then I found We Fix Macs in Birmingham and spoke to Kevin who said he could replace it as he has done a few more of these, so i agreed on a price and told Kevin I was happy for him to take on this job. he advised me it would take around 2 days because the part would have to be ordered in however it took around a week to complete the work. I was told because a faulty part arrived and it had to be quality checked and they were extremely busy which wasn't to much of a big deal for me. once the touch bar was finally replaced I got a call from Kevin for me to come and collect it.The repair it self was done to a high standard you wouldn't even be able to tell if it was replaced as it was clean tidy repair for such a complexed job. every thing inside the machine would have to be removed to get to the touch bar and some parts are even glued in which makes it all the more difficult and that's why no other MacBook Specialist wanted to take on the job.But the only thing that let it down a little was I noticed a Scratch on my MacBooks top lid which definitely was not there when I dropped it off. as I know my machine very well and it was in excellent condition even Kevin him self told me that it was a very clean laptop on the telephone the day I dropped it off to him.when I pointed this out to him the day i collect it, he was adamant that it was already there which made me feel very disappointed and that's the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.It looked like the MacBook may have been placed on something sharp when it was being repaired that could have caused a scratch like this.I still do recommend Kevin and believe he is very skilled and experienced at what he does to take on these difficult jobs but has to be a bit more carefully.

I had a screen replacement for my MacBook Pro and I was so happy to collect and see that it worked so well. The screen looks fantastic. I highly recommend to come here to get any of your devices fixed. I waited a couple of days to see how the laptop functions and honestly I'm impressed. Needed a new battery for my Mac Pro 2017 I required a quick turn around as the laptop is used everyday.Kevin turned it round in a few hours, battery replaced and he also fitted a fan as mine was damaged and I hadn’t realised it was, and also explained the over heating which he fixed too as part of the total job. The battery is great only uses 20% in 2 hrs vs 30 mins to dead before. The Mac also runs quiter too. Kevin is very passionate about was he does and offer a fast reliable service. Kev is defo where I will take all my Mac repairs going forward nice guys, fast service and reasonable pricing. Certainly recommend to any who needs a computer repaired.Also got a 12 month warrenty on the battery which is rare to get and defo gives you peace of mind.
