Η τοποθεσία του ξενοδοχείου είναι πολύ καλή, στο κέντρο δίπλα στον σταθμό των τρένων και τον coach station.Το δωμάτιο μικρό αλλά καθαρό. Μείναμε για ένα βράδυ. Αυτό που με ενόχλησε ήταν πως ότι ζητούσες ήταν με επιπλέον χρέωση, ακόμα κ η πετσέτα μπάνιου, διότι είμασταν 2 άτομα κ είχε μία μόνο πετσέτα καθώς κ για το chek out το είχαν στις 10.00 κ για να φύγουμε στις 12.00 όπως σε όλα τα ξενοδοχεία που έχω επισκεφτεί έπρεπε πάλι να πληρώσουμε. Εννοειται πως και το wifi ηταν κ αυτό με έξτρα χρέωση. Γενικά αυτή η έξτρα χρέωση με εκνεύρισε.

Ολα ειναι τελεια .Στην ρεσεπτιον παρα πολυ φιλικη .Ευχαριστω πολυ για την εξυπηρετη την Hony !

Το ξενοδοχείο βρίσκεται σε πολύ καλή περιοχή κοντά στο κέντρο της πόλης απο οπου μπορείς εύκολα να μετακινηθείς με τα πόδια. Είναι πολύ καθαρό, και ζεστό, κατάλληλο ως χώρος διαμονής για ζευγάρι. Τα δωμάτια είναι μικρά αλλά σε αριστη κατάσταση. Εδώ μπορείς να πιείς τον πρωινο σου καφέ πολύ φθηνά και να ξεκινήσεις την περιδιάβαση σου στα αξιοθέατα της πόλης. Το προσωπικό ειναι πολύ εξυπηρετικό, ειδικά η ILA η οποία ηταν πάντα πρόθυμη να μας εξυπηρετήσει. Εχω αποκομίσει αριστες εντυπώσεις απο την διαμονή μου στο easy hotel

The hotel offers very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped rooms. Staff members are friendly and always willing to help, especially Rachel, who provided outstanding service throughout the stay. Its location is excellent, close to major attractions and with easy access to public transportation. Breakfast provides a wide variety of fresh and tasty options. Overall, a great choice for both short and long stays, highly recommended.

The rooms are clean and well kept but very basic. That is, the only furniture is a bed. There are no bedside tables, cupboards, drawers etc, nowhere to put your stuff. There were 2 hangers affixed against the wall in my room so I could hang up my coat and a pair of trousers. There was a nook that I couldn’t quite get my phone into with the charger attached. Everything else had to go on the floor. The floor was clean, grey vinyl. No rugs.

I had an excellent shower but my colleagues didn’t fare so well. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The location is central to everything, although a bit seedy. Decent chain restaurants and bars nearby.

They have disabled accessible rooms with equipped bathrooms.

They don’t do food at all so you need to go out for breakfast.

I was only there for a night and I went out with friends so didn’t need to spend time in the room. It was fine, if definitely ‘no frills’. I wouldn’t want a longer stay, though, because it’s just not a place to relax.

This hotel is one which is ok but not cleaned properly. There is always dirt on the sides and corners where the hoovering hasnt been done. There are random hairs in places which I assume the cleaner missed in corners and less visible places or didnt get washed off the sheets properly. there are some stains on the wall. i have been in a 3rd floor and second floor room and the 3rd floor room seems to have a lot more wear and tear than the 2nd floor one. Generally bedsheets seem clean and so do the central floor places and very visible easy to clean places. Its ok for the cost of it when you get a cheaper price. The staff are nice and it is quiet. There is some thumping of music from next door some of the time but you can hardly hear it so it is not so annoying and they have to switch it off at night time so it doesn’t bother you during sleep. there is free boiling water if you want instant noodles or something like that. there is a select and save shop across the road where you can buy everything you might want so you can just put your coat over your nightie if you want to dash there to get some cake or chocolate or food.

Vicino a Bath, spicca al di sopra di un piccolo paese. La struttura è molto grande e tipica come costruzione. Ottimo il parcheggio e lo spazio verde esterno. Le camere sono piuttosto ampie e pulite. Allo stesso tempo ho trovato la mia camera piuttosto calda e la finestra non si poteva aprire, se non una piccola parte alta. Comodi anche gli spazi interni comuni. Colazione a buffet. Nel complesso una bella struttura.

Really friendly staff, the eggs Benedict was amazing as were the side of sausages. The price was really fair and it was a nice touch having such a polite and attentive waitress. Also great to see plates being removed from table when people have finished. Probably one of the best wetherspoons I have frequented

Basic hotel room with everything we needed. Plenty of tea, coffee etc. Friendly staff, excellent location. Pub was very busy and very noisy although we couldn’t hear this from our room. Shower gel was up high in a holder by the shower so had to stand up to reach when having a bath!

This is a classic spoons in the centre of Birmingham. Packed out on every table on Monday evening is everything you would expect. Didn’t use the rooms but the online images show them to be basic and functional. The food was delivered hot and fast and the prices for drinks excellent value as always

Always stay here when I visit Birmingham – easy access from / to the station (Birmingham New Street) through arcade, and price that is affordable. Because of accommodation that stands above the bar and restaurant, it is very easy to get to the foods and drinks entire day. Room is equipped with pot (with water and refill tea bag and sachet) and bath towels etc. There are windows but shouldn’t expect city view; can rather see other building view that is adjacent to the hotel…..

Absolutely brilliant. Amazing location. Great typical spoons downstairs, but hotel is fantastic too. Great rooms. Brilliant shower. Comfy beds. Cheap breakfast in the morning as it’s a spoons! Fantastic value. Only place I will now stay in Birmingham

Based on price/product (all round), the Briar Rose is absolutely exceptional in every way. We were here on Sunday evening, a really lovely, spacious, bright yet cosy double with everything that you need on hand, all for £39 for God’s sake.
The welcome at reception was just fantastic (from Vanessa I recall her name being?), who was lovely and couldn’t do enough. The room (502) has a large bath (the bathroom is great, really decent size) and massive deep sink.
There’s an iron and ironing board, hairdryer l, a big fan (it was a warm day) and teas, coffee, hot chocolate and bottled water (with biscuits) all in the price. Beautifully comfy double bed too and a decent sized wall mounted tv.

This place is absolutely spotless too.

The staff are all super nice and the service is kind and efficient.

Honestly, I’m amazed at how brilliant it all is fornthe almost free price. I cant praise it highly enough – we love it so much we’ve booked another night (41 quid).

Ooh, the bar area too – again, flawless. Great service, nice staff, the bar is perfect, it just screams “well managed”. The Freedom breakfast is the best £3.99 you’re ever going to spend. If you’re looking at staying in Birmingham, dont bother looking anywhere else (unless you’re looking for spa’s and 5 star etc). Pound for Pound, this is the best hotel in Birmingham. Have I been in “better” hotels? Course I have, I’ve lived in several countries, I’ve stayed in plenty of 5-star hotels, but for the price, its phenomenal.

All staff were very friendly and helpful. Secure car park. The room was very clean and had everything you could possibly need, cooker, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, ironing facilities, hairdryer etc. Well pleased with it. The shower in the bathroom was the most powerful shower I have ever been in. Wish I could get that power in my shower at home. There were coffee making facilities in the room too plus 2 tvs, one in the bedroom and 1 in the lounge area. I cannot fault our stay in any way. Everyone made us feel welcome. Thank you .

Service at this hotel is outstanding from the check in to breakfast. The room was great, ideal size and layout for my husband and our 2 girls. It worked brilliantly. Location was about 10 minutes walk from Moor Street Station, and had some amenities nearby. The pub on the corner was very welcoming and well located for our stay

Mavis in particular was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. She was so polite and wonderful to our girls, nothing was too much trouble even offering them a hot chocolate… at 8am

Overall a very lovely stay and we will definitely be back again

A Comfortable and Enjoyable Stay in the Heart of Birmingham

The hotel was spotless, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Although I had booked for 3 adults and 2 children, upon arrival I was told the reservation was only for 3 adults. I’m not sure whether the issue was with Booking.com or the hotel, but thankfully the staff kindly accommodated us without any extra charge — though it wasn’t the most pleasant surprise.

The apartment was well-equipped, featuring two bathrooms, a shower and a bathtub, plus a fully fitted kitchen with a coffee machine, dishwasher, and plenty of utensils and cookware for five people. Everything we needed was right there.

The location was also fantastic — right in the city centre, within walking distance (less than 5 minutes) to major attractions. Overall, we really enjoyed our family stay at this hotel and would definitely consider returning in the future.

From the minute we walked into the reception to book in, we got greeted by a fantastic receptionist who couldn’t have been more polite and helpful.|We went to our apartment and just wow!|You want for nothing. It is beautiful and spacious and spotlessly clean.|The beds are so comfortable so my husband and I had the best sleep.|We are staying here for 2 nights.|We will book when we come back to Birmingham. |It is half a mile from the Bull Ring shopping centre and in the middle of the jewellery quarter. Perfect location with some fabulous restaurants and pubs on the door step. |Can’t wait to return ❤️

This is the fourth or fifth time that we have stayed here.

The Reception staff always give you a warm welcome that makes you feel like a valued customer. Always a smile and a hello.

The rooms are great with the bed being huge and very comfy. It’s great to be able to cook your own meals and we even had a washing machine.

The parking is very good and feels secure.

We will stay here again. 10 out of 10.

Beautiful room, ideal with two small children – they could sleep in their own room, while we had our own space in the evening. We were able to get to the Merlin attractions in the Birmingham/Warwick area easily. The breakfast was delicious, shoutout to lovely Mavis, who made the best hazelnut latte I’ve ever had, and was so sweet and helpful with our children. Hope to go back and stay again!

Pleasantly surprised by our stay at stay city. The room was clean and spacious. The location was great (not far from the city centre) and the service was top-notch. Special shoutout to Mavis who was very attentive, bubbly and looked after us very well. We would definitely stay here again.

Hyatt Rengency Hotel Birmingham is a very nice and cozy hotel with great facilities. It offers halal food, and prayer mats are available upon request, which I really appreciated. The leisure facilities are lovely, with a heated swimming pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, and spa.

However, my stay was let down by the fact that the room did not have a smart TV as mentioned on the website, which caused a lot of wasted time considering that I planned to stay in most of the times. The hotel eventually upgraded us (to a similar room just a few floors higher) after several contact made to reception and a long wait, but I’m grateful to Kenza for her assistance. On checkout, Nandini was very kind and offered support for my next visit as a gesture for the inconvenience.

There’s also an issue with parking, which operates on a first come first serve basis. So if you park your car on day 1 and say you’re staying for 3 days, you have to pay for the parking for 3 days ahead which is £27 for 24hr. During these days if you happen to take your car out and come back with no free parking space, you lose your money. Your slot is not reserved. It would be better if they charge us for parking when we are leaving the car park rather than making us pay in advance.

Overall, a comfortable hotel with excellent amenities, but clearer information on room facilities would have made the stay much smoother. I would have come better prepared.

Lovely stay! The hotel was clean, modern and comfortable. Our room was outstanding, shower, bed, and a view was great. Staff were friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. The gym was a bonus, well equipped and great for a workout.|Would definitely return.

This is not a 5 star hotel much rather a 3 star. Decor and furniture throughout the building is tired and dated. Breakfast was good and staff friendly. Cleaning was also very good, but these are areas you expect to be good in all big brand hotels. Don’t waste your money staying here as there are cheaper and better options locally. Simple room service requests are charges at £5 per request (i.e. toothbrush, spoon, anything that involves somone to come to your room).

I’ve stayed at the Hyatt in Birmingham several times, usually when attending conferences, and it’s always been a great experience. The location is perfect – just a short walk from the ICC and the city centre – which makes it really convenient for both work and leisure.

What makes this hotel stand out is the staff. Everyone is friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Whether it’s the front desk, housekeeping, or the restaurant team, the service is always excellent.

The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable, with great views of the city. It’s also surprisingly quiet, which makes it easy to relax after a busy day.

I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Birmingham, especially if you’re going to an event or conference nearby. It’s a reliable and welcoming place to stay.

Great overall hotel but showing its age in some of the in room decor / condition. ||||I stay here twice a year as a minimum for work (have done for 15 years +) and the overall experience is not to the standard I would expect for the premium price over other hotels in the general area.

Stayed at the Hyatt Birmingham recently and had an unforgettable experience thanks to Gabi (on the evening of the 14th September 2025). It’s a shame to have to rate this hotel so low but I have the same feedback that many others are sharing about this hotel…..air conditioning! Let me start with the good bits, the hotel is in a great location near the bull ring and central shopping area. The hotel is clean, modern, bright well furnished and the staff go above and beyond to ensure that the guests have a lovely stay. The room is equally as modern, well maintained and quiet from the corridor, bed is very comfortable.

However the temperature of the hotel is the main problem. On arrival the temperature in the lobby and bar area was stiflingly hot to the point my party drew breath and asked the staff why it was so hot. Of course it was no better in the room and even when setting a low temperature on the control panel it did nothing to reduce the heat of the room. Of course this just leads to a very poor nights sleep and even though on the second night the hotel provided a fan is still didn’t do a whole lot to reduce the heat of the room.

My recommendation to his hotel is to turn the AC back on or get it repaired. This is a great hotel but because of this one issue I would choose not to stay there again when visiting Birmingham for work. It’s clear from other reviews this is not a one off and many other guests complaining about the same issue. My advice, listen to your guests, read your reviews and take some appropriate action……

From the moment I arrived, the service was spot on—friendly, welcoming, and very professional.|A special thank you to Hisham at reception, who was exceptionally helpful and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect for my stay. The hotel lobby and common areas are nice, as is the restaurant and outside patio. Our room (515) was fine, though the carpet had stains and looked a little grubby. Comfy bed. Bathroom clean and new – the shower was good. It was good to have bottles of water. Housekeeping done every day. There could have been a little more storage. It was very quiet. The breakfast choice was good and all the food tasted fresh. I would stay here again.

I had a wonderful experience for lunch at the Clayton Hotel. My room was not ready and needed to have lunch and also find a quiet place for a zoom call. Prashant at the bar was thoughtful and accommodating in making sure i had a wonderful lunch and a comfortable space for my client call. Also, I had the best fish and chips ever! Thank you for such an amazing experience.

This is my second time staying here and it’s the second time the reception staff have let the place down. They are not very welcoming. I would have gave this place five stars had the staff been friendlier.

The room and bathroom were lovely. Great shower and plenty towels. The bed is king-size and very comfortable. The air-conditioning was appreciated since it was very warm outside. It was very clean, not a single thing out of place or single stain. The room had a hairdryer, iron and ironing board which is always nice.

Mediocre hotel, although ibis have a constant value, the bathroom was very small, the toilet was very small, the triple room the bed is two storeys and you have to climb a steep staircase….. Breakfast was very poor, location, very good near center, service, impeccable attention, but generally in the area it does not give you 100% sense of security

I only stayed for one night. It’s a great hotel if you just want the bare basics but could’ve done with a water bottle or easier access to drinking water. The bed was super comfortable, the room was clean and even though it’s by a busy road it was quiet at night.
The staff was super friendly and kind. Their 24hr pizza is delicious and they have a good selection of drinks and breakfast items.

Stayed here for quite some time. To be honest was an amazing stay pretty much perfect. The staff is really helpful, they have clean rooms, a nice breakfast (continental), a (communal) microwave, (communal) iron – pretty much everything you need. They have 24/7 pizza for £8.50 really useful. The parking space is also really good and has a decent number of spots. Would definitely stay here again – thank you so much!

I went to Birmingham for a four-day work trip in July 2025; I was on a tight budget but fortunately, this hotel didn’t compromise budget for comfort. It was very affordable while corresponding perfectly to my needs. The room looked the exact same as in the pictures. Everything was very clean, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, and I also enjoyed breakfast. What I preferred, though, was the people at the reception desk: everyone was absolutely lovely! Thank you for providing directions and for always making sure I enjoyed my stay: your kindness meant a lot to me.

Séjour correct, mais sérieusement… pas de brosse à toilettes ? On est censés faire comment, appeler la réception après chaque passage ? La chambre est bien dans l’ensemble, mais mieux vaut éviter de regarder de trop près : poussières et petites taches rappellent vite que l’entretien n’est pas parfait. Le personnel, en revanche, est aimable et fait son possible, puis pour le prix payé, cela reste dans la norme.

I had a lovely 2-day stay at Ibis Birmingham with my husband, and we really enjoyed every moment. The service was excellent, and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful—special thanks to the lovely ladies at the front desk!

The room was very clean, comfortable, and cozy, making our stay very pleasant. Housekeeping was amazing—thank you, Daria, for keeping everything spotless. The hotel overall was clean and well maintained.

Breakfast was also great, with a nice buffet offering a good variety of options.

I enjoyed a warm friendly and friendly staff over the weekend which made my stay pleasant.
My previous stay had been in a refurbished room but my room for the weekend was perfectly adequate. The WiFi worked well and the bed was comfy. It would benefit from better water pressure for the shower.
Breakfast was good and I was made to feel welcome. The late night bar was handy.
However, at 4 in the morning, the noise from party goers leaving the club woke me up.

Came to Birmingham for the weekend to meet up for a group social event. Many of the group were staying here as it was close to the gay village where our event was being held. |Super comfy rooms with everything that was needed. Nice walk in shower in bathroom and ample space to do what you needed to do.|Location was perfect. Less than a 5 min walk to the gay village with all its vibrant bars and nightlife. Great restaurants all around to enjoy.|The group were very happy here and we’d had a cake made for our event and I’d brought some back for the staff as they’d been super helpful and friendly. Great place, next time in Birmingham, I’ll stay here again. Thank you.

Lovely hotel, great location, staff friendly and helpful. There was one lady cleaning that started talking to me and she was hilarious. Not very often you get that and it was so nice to see her happy at her job and comfortable enough to chat with people.||Room was a bit small but manageable, the bed was really comfy. I can recommend and we have already booked to stay here again on our next visit so yes I liked it here.

Very handy for our night out around the Arcadian area. Room was clean and had shower gel, shampoo and handwash. Had to ask for additional towels as no hand towels supplied in room. Room was small, but fine for our one night in the city. One thing to point out is that there were building works going on meaning that the underground car park had a reduced number of spaces. It’s worth noting that the car park is incredibly tight to get in and out of – and currently – to drive around. We seem to have been refunded for our overnight parking though, so am grateful for that.

We stayed at the Ibis hotel for a night prior to a conference. Ingrid was incredibly kind, friendly and helpful. She greeted us with humour and also provided some of my colleagues with vegan sausages! Lovely breakfast

What a brilliant stay! We arrived on a really hot day and our room was lovely and cool. The room was clean and perfect- very comfortable bed too!
The ladies at the reception made us very welcome and were keen to help with advice etc.
Breakfast was delicious, so much to choose from and the lovely gentleman kept checking there was enough food and clearing up – it looked spotless . Overall a brilliant stay. Thank you so much, definitely would recommend- also very very near the Hippodrome!

Μετά από μια δύσκολη μέρα φτάσαμε στις 3:00 μετά τα μεσάνυχτα στο ξενοδοχείο και αντί να καταλήξουμε στα κρεβάτια μας ενημέρωσαν ότι το ξενοδοχείο δεν έχει διαθέσιμο δωμάτιο και μας ταλαιπώρησαν για 1 ώρα και 30′ μέχρι να καταλήξουμε σε γειτονικό ξενοδοχείο . Θεωρώ απαράδεκτο μια τέτοια αλυσίδα ξενοδοχείων να μην μπορεί να διαχειριστεί τις κρατήσεις της και να ταλαιπωρεί τους πελάτες της ( η κράτηση είχε γίνει μέσω της ιστοσελίδας του ξενοδοχείου ) παρόλα αυτά φιλότιμες οι προσπάθειες του προσωπικού του ξενοδοχείου να μας εξυπηρετήσουν με κάθε τρόπο αλλά πως να το κάνουν αυτό όταν η εταιρία κάνει overbooking στις κρατήσεις 🙁

Το προσωπικό ήταν ότι καλύτερο έχω δει σε ξενοδοχείο,τελεια εξυπηρέτηση οποιαδήποτε ώρα.Το πρωινό από τα πιο ποιοτικά που έχω φάει.Τα δωμάτια πεντακάθαρα με πολύ άνετα κρεβάτια κι πολύ καθαρά όλα. Η αίθουσα συνεδριάσεων ήταν άνετη με τέλειο σέρβις

I stayed for 3 nights and found the hotel to be very nice. It’s very close to the airport so you will hear the planes coming and going but the hotel inside is spot on. My room was clean, well maintained and has a very comfortable king size bed. I loved the walk in shower. I found the meals to be excellent with the right portion sizes ( breakfast you can help yourself to as much continental as you want ). I had access to free WiFi in my room and the staff were really friendly.

This is a great hotel. Close to the city centre and walking distance to the train station. ||The staff are friendly and helpful. Erana on reception is amazing and a credit to the hotel and IHG. I was going to the cricket at Edgbaston so I arrived at 10:30. I asked if they had a storage room for my bag. Even though check in isn’t until 3pm Erana checked on the system and let me check in early. |The rooms are modern and clean.

My name is Saima, I stayed over this weekend 18th & 19th July 2025 with my aunt and Prashant the manager took really good care of us. We got upgraded to a suite due to the fact that their AC was not working. The rooms were super clean, really nice and comfortable. Even the bathroom was really nice and clean. Would definitely recommend and want to say a huge thank you to Prashant, genuine concern for his guests and goes above and beyond. Incredible customer service and hospitality. No complaints. Our room was available ahead of the usual check in time which was great as we were slightly early. Our room was opposite the lift, which was an initial concern, but we couldn’t hear any comings and goings. Very clean and decent size. Breakfast was ace and when our key card stopped working for some reason, they were quick to rectify. Would easily stay here again

I’ve always enjoyed my stays here. Friendly staff, big rooms and within walking distance of New Street station, Birmingham City centre and with Chinatown on the doorstep.|Plenty of hot water for a good shower, quiet (Room 110) and good facilities.|My one gripe would be that they have decent Tea for tea drinkers, but the coffee is very poor, I poured mine away this morning!|If they could improve that, I’d give a 5.

This is my third visit to Travelodge City Central which is not far from the Bull Ring Shopping Centre, markets, New Street Station, Chinatown, restaurants, several museums, cathedral and concert halls. The room was spotless, quietly appointed with extremely comfortable beds. The hotel has a spacious dining area and meals are generally available throughout the day with a fully serviced bar. The buffet style breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly.

I recently made a mistake with my booking and was so grateful for the support I received from Susan, the manager. She handled the situation with such efficiency and professionalism, resolving everything quickly and without any stress. Beyond that, she was genuinely kind, approachable, and went out of her way to ensure everything was sorted smoothly. A truly wonderful and helpful person – thank you, Susan!

The hotel is in a fantastic spot, right by the Bull Ring, which made it easy for me to do some shopping. Check-in was smooth, though my key card stopped working halfway through my stay and I had to go back down to reception to fix it. The staff sorted it quickly, but it was a bit inconvenient. The room itself was clean and simple, just what you’d expect from a Travelodge. Decent for a short stay.

We received a warm welcome from the reception staff. Ample towels were provided and the bathroom was clean and tidy with good pressure on the shower – lovely.
All the staff was warm and friendly. However one particular person stood out. This was Rav the restaurant manager. She took time to chat with each group before seating them. She was funny and put us at ease straight away. She even made sure that we filled up our water bottles each day before we headed out. This lady deserves 7 stars for excellent service.

the coffee in the room to get any sort of taste i had to use 2 or more of the packets. the pillow was lumpy the mattress was just about ok the bedding on top was dirty i went for an evening meal there a curry and i have seen bigger kids meals than what i was served and i was served so say an adult meal which had only 2 small peices of meal in it and the rice was hard. if i was into wanting to watch people undress fully then the view out of my window well lets just say i did not need to look things up on line so to speak due to appartment block over the road. the bed base reminded me of something i used to have as a kid and i am now in my late 40’s and it looked same age as me.

We liked the hotel and the staff very much. We were not so keen on the style of the room /design. The toilet was in the wrong place. And the bathroom right in front of the bed. There were workmen working there on the morning we woke up however we were not advised they would be there. The lounge area was very nice and the bar was also very pleasant. The breakfast was outstanding. They just need to focus on the rooms and the designs.

We received a warm welcome by the member of staff on duty. Her attentiveness throughout our experience really made it special. She gave us a detailed run through of teas and coffees available and brought a fan over as it was a hot day. Her service was faultless. The presentation and taste of the food was wonderful. The atmosphere was relaxing and we didn’t feel rushed to finish. Thank you for making this mother/daughter occasion special.

Great, friendly welcome from all the staff the minute the group arrived. The rooms and Event Suite were ready for us and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were clean, breakfast included everything you could wish for and was constantly topped up. The toasters were slow to brown, but isn’t that the same in every hotel? A friendly bar area and the hotel is located with easy access to Symphony Hall and the city centre.

This was the second times I stayed in this hotel and found the staff very welcoming and friendly, which made check-in smooth and pleasant. The location is excellent—convenient for exploring the area and close to local attractions. The only downside was the noise at night, likely from nearby bars, which might be a consideration for light sleepers. Overall, a good spot for a short stay if you’re looking for comfort and accessibility.

Attended afternoon tea today. The service, food and surroundings were excellent. Had a lovely time. Many thanks to Kevin for looking after us. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be going back.

On the recommendation of a friend I stayed here for one night in July. Okay it was a Saturday and ELO and Ozzie Osmond were doing farewell concerts in the city but charging more than triple the week rates for a room seems a bit high. ||The hotel was as one would expect a Novotel, the staff were polite and the rooms clean and comfortable. Plus the breakfast was good. ||But the garage below the hotel was very small and the parking bays so tight that I managed to scrape the door of my car against a pillar, which was an expensive mistake.
