Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Birmingham Spring Hill

Great experience from start to finish! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole process quick and easy. Picking up and returning the car was smooth and stressfree. Highly recommend this rental company for anyone looking for excellent service and a hasslefree experience.

I had one of the worst experiences hiring a van from this branch, particularly with the assistant manager, Aneesa, who was very unprofessional. I was told there were no vans available, yet I was able to book one online without any issue. When I arrived, there were clearly vans on site, but I was then told I needed a credit card to proceed. I contacted customer services, who confirmed this is not an official Enterprise policy, but rather left to the branch’s discretion. I was also told that because this was the Birmingham branch, they may require a credit card for same-day bookings. This felt discriminatory, as it seemed I was being treated differently purely because of my location and background. The Enterprise website gives no indication of this requirement, so I felt misled, unfairly treated, and discriminated against. Enterprise urgently needs to review this practice and ensure that policies are applied consistently across all branches, without targeting or unfairly treating customers from certain areas.

I had the worst experience with one of the employees, a lady named Meliha, who I believe is also the manager at this branch. My insurance company referred me to Enterprise for a replacement car. They gave me a vehicle that was much larger than what I needed. I politely asked if they could provide me with a smaller car, but instead of offering any professional assistance, I was treated very rudely. I was told, "We don’t have one, call tomorrow." When I called the next day, they hung up on me and even blocked my number! Because of this unprofessional and disrespectful behavior, I was left without a car for more than two weeks. I had to repeatedly call my insurance company to rebook another car, which caused me unnecessary stress, wasted time, and a huge inconvenience. This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable, especially from someone who appears to be the branch manager. Enterprise is supposed to be a trusted international company, but this branch’s customer service was shocking and shameful. I would strongly advise others to stay away from this location.

Have used this branch for nearly 10 years. Good location coupled with the BEST staff l have seen in any Enterprise branch. I have dealt with many staff here, and Scott was the manager here around 2017, and he was good. Additionally, the staff now are straightforward and easy to do business with, such as Hamza and Izzy. I would recommend this branch of Enterprise car hire to all. Keep up the good work guys, and God bless you .

I had the misfortune to book a hire car through third party insurers Allianz (they’ll be reviewed too) with this Enterprise branch. What a complete shambles. I had to book a courtesy car while my car would be repaired which I did a week prior to my requirement with Lauren, only to find out on my hours drive to them, they had no notes of my booking. Great start but to cut a long story short, they do not offer "like for like" vehicles, they do not keep their word and are very disorganised and they don’t have sufficient cars in their fleet to accommodate their bookings. I was offered two cars which were totally inappropriate for my needs and were both offered as last minute "this is all we can offer you". The amount of anxiety and distress caused to me in these 24 hours of dealing with them has been unbelievable. I have logged sixteen phone calls between them and the third party insurers during this time. The insurance company AND their designated garage both admitted to me on the day that Enterprise simply do not have the cars. Total disregard for their clients time. Shocking. To the team at Enterprise, have some consideration that people who come to you for hire cars do have their own lives and commitments which don’t stop and wait. Your business does not provide the service you mislead people to believe you will with your false advertising. If you cannot provide an appropriate vehicle, have the integrity to say so upfront. No, I would not like to discuss this any further but you will be getting a formal complaint.

The staff at Spring Hill are fantastic. The vehicle I had was brilliant and a joy to drive. Fantastic customer service from start to finish. Highly recommend the company especially the guys at Spring Hill. Will be using their vehicles again.

Great professional team, they have customer interests at heart, and genuinely do right by their customers. From the front of house to the ones who took my calls, keep up the good work .
