The best barbers experience I’ve had to date, 10/10. When I arrived, the staff were super welcoming and accommodating and even offered me a drink whist I waited. The whole place felt relaxed but still so professional. Bobby was amazing, not only is he just a top bloke and made me feel really welcomed and relaxed, but his experience and skill was obvious straight away. It was clear he genuinly cares about giving you the best hair cut possible. He also gave me some really useful advice on what hair style would suit me best and for the occasion as well as styling, without being pushy at all. He was just a great guy to have a chat with, the service was so personal and unhurried and I walked out with my best haircut! Will definitely be coming back.

All of the barbers here are top quality, Dale runs a tight ship. I have been going for a number of years now and my regular barber is Charlie, he always give an excellent cut and a laugh – funny guy. I enjoy the gin and tonic on arrival. Barber house definitely is best in class. I travel from Northampton just for the impeccable service.

First time at this barbers. Was unsure first as I got a young barber as everyone else was busy. Same age as my son Ramazan done a fantastic job. He listened to my requirements and followed my instructions perfectly. Will be going again soon.

Went in Friday for a haircut and beard trim. The guy clearly did not know what he was doing. I wanted the sides shaved. They are not level chunks were not even cut. I have had to shave parts off at home. Asked for a trim on my beard as I was growing it and he shaved too much off. I have been using this place for years and not had a issue. This is the worst hair cut I have ever had. Tried to use the website to complain and it sends you to dodgy sites. I will be in Monday to ask for a refund.

I blame myself for going three times, and each time being dissatisfied but I like to give the benefit of the doubt. But the third time was the last straw. Showed a very explicit photo of my hair style and what I wanted (my literally hair so nothing to do with different hair types), asked for no blend or fade, undercut only. Follow the line that was already there, leave the back. Proceeded to cut all the back off, and fade in the hair, to where I had to stop and again show the photo and say, this is what I want, a clear line between the top half and bottom. So he said that is a 0.5mm which it wouldn’t have been if cut properly the first time. Only found out he cut all the back off when I asked to look at the back before the end. Proceeded to charge me a higher cost due to having a fade/0.5mm which I didn’t even ask for. Barber was huffing and puffing. I am not a tricky person, I show a picture, ask for that, should be simple. The barber finished by saying, “but this is better”. I don’t care, I want the style I want. Turkish barbers are amazing, never had a bad haircut anywhere else. But this place, Third time wasn’t the charm. Neither was the first or second.

Had my first trim with Sham few months back, and I haven’t got my haircut done else where, does exactly what you want, doesn’t deny, gives honest feedback then proceeds to kill it. By far I have gotten 3-4 haircuts from Sham itself, and highly recommend this Branch. Love it!

So I went in after 6 years of no haircuts; very annoyed with my hair after the last week of wind and annoying stray hairs in my face.

So I built up the courage to just ‘chop it all off’ and go back to the old days.

Step in Anna, who straight away advised against the chop and instead just tidied up the ends, tidied up the neck and sideburns bit and honestly I’m absolutely chuffed with the results.

Opened my eyes to how far a little tidy up can go and I just want to thank her for being so brilliant – you’ve got a gem there guys!

Came to the Gentleman barbers for the first time having walked past it on the way for some lunch in Brindley place. The classy interior drew my attention and the fact it is busy is always a good sign. I booked in with Damien who was extremely professional and approachable, automatically putting my mind at ease as it always daunting going to a new barbers. Wow what a decision. I asked for a fade and to do something similar to what I had previously but shorter. I have never had a cut as good as this one and will definitely be returning.

I have always had trouble finding a good barber. With a shoulder length curvy hair, it was difficult to find someone who could trim my hair that was just enough- neither too long nor too short.

Here at the Gentleman’s barber, I had one of the best haircuts provided by Callum. His attention to detail was immaculate. This was by far one of the longest time a barber had spent on my hair- a good one hour, which made me feel worth my money. Very friendly staff (allowed me to keep my bike inside). Good ambience and good music. Overall, amazing experience. I’m going to go back to this barber!

Great place, first time visiting, Abdul is an absolute legend, great guy, top conversationalist, knows exactly what his doing, very reasonably priced for the services provided, he also threw in a free wax hair gel ( who does that nowadays!), will be visiting again many times over!

Absolutely pathetic – they have genuinely ruined my hair & tried to charge me £30 for their efforts. Why the heck would anyone pay that much for their incompetence? Why couldn’t they cut my hair properly? Why couldn’t the barber understand what I was asking for even with me showing him pictures of an ideal look, are they that incompetent???

Update: Refund received thankfully after being made to wait unnecessarily for around 15 minutes at their shop, despite telling them I was rushing to see someone suffering a bereavement. They also confirmed they’d deliberately tried to overcharge me which isn’t pleasant, do they do that to other customers too? I thought that was the end of it – only for them to proceed to harrass me via texts and phone calls within the following two hours. I can only assume they abuse the Google reviews system to remove all their negative reviews and make their business appear worthwile sadly. They ruined my hair, then tell me they won’t forgive me? Make it make sense, definitely a dodgy business to avoid at all costs.

I went about 2 weeks ago and I asked for a taper fade from one of the other barbers closest to the window. He did the fade fine and when he asked what I wanted at the top I only asked for about a centimetre. He cut it unevenly, not using a comb to check the length and my hair was down to my nose, where he cut it unevenly leaving me to buzz and shave it all off at home. Charged me £15 which was not bad but it was not worth the haircut. I couldn’t say anything about my haircut to the barber because of how many people there were.

Unprofessional barber outfit. I took my two young kids today. There were friends of the barber hanging around who were vaping away, listening to rap and using profane language. I couldn’t wait to leave the place. The haircuts themselves were ok. I won’t be returning here again.

My daughter’s hair is so badly cut it’s all uneven!! And they charged £30 for a childrens haircut! I am going to have to take her somewhere else to get it fixed. Do not go here they are not even trained properly. I am furious!!! They had to cheek to try charge £40!!!!

❌ ‍☠️ DONT GO HERE “Turkish Barber” is a disgrace literally no idea what their doing… Guy used a straight razor on my cold skin.. didn’t wash my hair before doesn’t ask before applying random product on my face. Paid £28 for what I could have just done myself (meant to include hot towel/massage/haircut/beard trim) Walked out with an uneven 1.5 on my head. The guy who cut my hair literally seemed like he had zero barbering experience (middle aged white guy foreign accent) The other guys may be a lot better.
If your looking for a good service run you wont get it here. God help anyone looking for a more complicated haircut e.g. Skin fade or attending when its busy. Make sure you ask for a hot towel and a massage because you’ll get charged for one anyway .

This place is dreadful for a head and beard shave. I was short of time so didn’t say much before leaving but it wasn’t down to skin, had stubble on my head and face which wasn’t evenly spread like he shaved me a-symmetrically. My head was stinging bad so I had to rinse it in the pub I met my mates in and even they noticed how uneven it was when I drew attention to it. Its like they tried to shave me with a wet plastic spoon and hope.

Had haircut, shave and ear and nose wax ans would highly recommend. Very thorough and friendly guy.

I’ve been coming here for a few months now and I’ve got to say Bazz is the guy. I sat in his chair today and I never really know what I want done. He just advised what I should get done and the proceeded to do it. The look is amazing, the style is sharp and it works for my face.

Walked in to book a wet shave, place was dead quiet with no customers in the building, staff member looked like he didn’t want to be at work, very unfriendly and couldn’t be bothered.

Spent 5 mins in the chair, went over half my face with a cutthroat blade, missed half my face leaving stubble everywhere and then tried to blame my skin. He then proceeded to finish the rest with an electric razor which was a complete disaster and then sprayed aftershave lotion in my eyes without any warning which stung like hell.

Walked out £13 out of pocket unshaved and wish I didn’t bother

Shocking experience!!

I wanted to share my recent experience at your barber shop, which was quite shocking. The barber who initially started cutting my hair was excessively rough, forcefully pushing my head and aggressively handling the clippers. When I requested him to slow down, he became angry and even threatened me with physical violence, stating, “If you don’t shut up, I will show you respect.”

I asked for someone else to finish my haircut, but he refused, insisting that I would have to pay and leave without my haircut completed. This left me feeling extremely disrespected. Fortunately, other staff members intervened, mediated the situation, and finished my haircut.

The behavior of the initial barber was rude and aggressive, and it raised concerns about his suitability for providing haircuts. Additionally, I observed that the staff was conversing in other languages around me, which, in such a situation, felt inconsiderate.

Despite this unfortunate experience, I paid double the haircut fee. My primary concern was not about the money but rather about being treated with dignity and respect. While one might not expect much from a barber experience, a basic level of respect in treating customers as human beings is not an unreasonable expectation.

I hope you take this feedback seriously and address the issues to ensure a more positive experience for your customers in the future.
