I initially went to Dr. Evan to have all four of my wisdom teeth removed. At the start, he explained that he would remove two first and then the other two at a later visit.
My first visit went okay overall, but I did feel that he rushed through the anaesthetic. I experienced pain during the procedure and he had to inject more local anaesthetic after he had already begun. On top of that, he made a very strange comment about my jaw, saying that people of my descent have very strong jaws and even suggested I ask my grandmother about it. I found this inappropriate and offensive, though I chose to let it slide at the time. My grandma is currently going through very serious health problems currently and it’s a hard time for the family.
For my second visit, I felt very anxious because I had been traumatised from the first procedure. I expressed this to him, and he initially seemed understanding. However, during the extraction, I experienced what felt like an electric shock, which he explained was because he brushed on a nerve. This was very painful and distressing.
What concerned me most was that he only removed my lower wisdom tooth, even though I was expecting the upper one to be removed as well which is actually the tooth that causes me the most pain. He seemed rushed and eager to finish quickly. After I left the room, I went back to explain my concern about the top tooth, but he told me he couldn’t remove it that day as he hadn’t put anaesthetic in the upper area. He said I would need to come back for another appointment. This means I now have to go through the stress and trauma of another procedure that I believed would have been completed today.
I want to be clear that I have respect for Dr. Evan and his profession I understand that dental work is complex and challenging. But I also believe patients deserve clear communication, compassion, and to feel listened to. Unfortunately, I found his manner abrupt, dismissive, and at times rude. I didn’t choose to have impacted wisdom teeth, and I feel very upset about how my treatment was handled.

I had a great experience with Tim and Rachel with respect to my Wisdom Tooth Extraction. Tim was informative, knowledgeable, and really helped keep me at ease throughout the process. Rachel was on hand and efficient, always extremely polite, and kept me well informed every step of the way. Both of them made the experience much more comfortable and smooth. Highly recommended! I will be returning in a few weeks for my second extraction!

Had my wisdom tooth extracted today, my experience here was absolutely amazing, the receptionist was very welcoming and professional, I sat upstairs to be greeted by a lovely woman to be taken into the pre op room, to have my injections in my gums to numb the area, the dentist himself (Mr Breeze) was very reassuring towards me as he knew I was anxious to have it done, and they were both amazing getting my tooth, he did apologise a lot for how far he had to open my mouth just to get to the wisdom tooth (it was far back), but hands down, I had a great experience and very assuring as well which I do appreciate a lot, hands down the best dentist I’ve been too. Also would like to add how clean and tidy it was as well.

Had my wisdom tooth pulled out today and I can say i have never felt more comfortable and safe. The surgery has a warm welcome with smiles that would greet you as soon as you enter. The dental nurse who assisted me into the surgery room was kind with warm smile and Dr Mcmillan was a fantastic doctor who explained the procedure to me step by step before and after the surgery. 1000% would recommend this surgery and thank you Dr Mcmillan and the staff of Westbourne centre

I recently had a procedure carried out by Dr. Allan Attard and Nurse Rachael, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

From the moment I arrived, both of them made me feel completely at ease. They were incredibly down to earth, welcoming, and genuinely took the time to explain everything clearly without rushing. What really stood out to me was how funny and light-hearted they were — it made such a difference to the whole experience. They struck the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness.

I’ve had both my bottom wisdom teeth removed by Mr McMillan, he explained everything really well and kept me calm. I have had complications afterwards the first one being dry socket which was seen to and sorted by another dentist who was wonderful. The second was an abscess but the lady who helped me was lovely and kind and made sure the QE was aware I may need to attend. The reception staff have always been pleasant and after the abscess made sure I had calmed down to drive home. But extra mention is to the nurse who held my hand and then was on call via the out of hours number – she was amazing and reassuring. Overall the staff here have been outstanding and although I’ve had complications I think they were just unfortunate. I wouldn’t doubt the care that every team member has shown and I wouldn’t worry if I had to return (hopefully I don’t!)

When i was finished the treatment I was happy to go from there. The lady (very good looking without any good experience) refused to attend me even though I had an appointment for today.

The level of professionalism in skin is wonderful. I had my appointment today and before the lady treated the area she massaged my face and wiped off the sun cream. After the treatment she also massaged in some sun Cream which made me want to go sleep. I am very happy with the service here and would highly recommend Birmingham central clinic.

I was reading the reviews and couldn’t help but feel I have received the same treatment and experience as a review I saw on here from Hasan Khan.

I was also having microneedling from Jay. I had been going, on and off, for nearly two years. I think I had around 13 to 14 treatments of microneedling on my arm due to some hypertrophic scarring from a tattoo I had removed.

When I contacted Sky Clinic, I felt like I had nowhere else to go. I was at the end and at a very low point. So when they told me they could help, it gave me a lot of hope.

Jay would always tell me, with patience, it will get better — not only better, but he always said we can make it 100% go away if we carry on.

I too seemed to struggle to find any improvement and would come in to Jay on days where I wasn’t even booked in for a treatment, just to discuss where I was with my treatment and how it was going. I would always get the same speech and felt like I couldn’t put my point across.

Again, just like Hasan said, I would come back time and time again because Jay would convince me it was working, and I couldn’t think of anywhere else to go. This affected me so much that I started to feel stupid for not going if he was telling me it was going to work no matter what.

I would send Jay side-by-side pictures — one maybe from before I’d even started going to Sky Clinic — and I could see myself that, if anything, it was better before. He would come back with, “I think it looks better now.”

Also, just like Hasan, I would ask for pictures before treatments, and Jay would only remember to do it if I said something at the start.

I would also like to add that the last time I saw Jay was again just to speak about how my scars are now and what I should do going forward. This was where I felt the most disappointment and decided that Jay had made my mind up for me — never to go back to Sky Clinic again. I told Jay that I am also going to therapy sessions, as this has — and still is — affecting my life and my depression. I thought Jay’s response would be understanding and sympathetic, but he just said, “You don’t even need that. Just forget about it. Get on with your life.”

Now, I know Jay isn’t a counsellor, but I thought that just showed I was a patient Sky Clinic wanted to get as much money from as possible.

If Jay or Sky Clinic choose to dispute anything I’ve said here, I’m more than happy to have a conversation with them directly. I understand that reviews can impact a small business, but this has affected my life in a very real way, and I felt it was something I needed to get off my chest.

Pleasant staff but both the Hydrafacial and the teeth whitening treatments were below my expectations. During the hydrafacial the water was running down my face and neck, yet no tissues offered. It was not a relaxing experience at all. During the teeth whitening several steps were skipped such as the use of green scrub but I was still charged the full amount and there was barely any difference / only couple of shades whiter achieved due to this incomplete treatment. The technician inserted the dental mould into my mouth although she was not supposed to do that because she is not qualified as a dentist.

I have been coming to this clinic for about a year now! I absolutely like the way that Jay is honest and try not to discuss my concerns/ questions but also to educate me! I’m happy that I came to the clinic and for sure I will be continuing coming to it.

I did about six sessions of microneedling as well as laser hair removal! I would recommend it to ANYONE looking for great results/ staff!

I find my therapist, Norelle really comfortable to be around, she always checks on me throughout the procedure and is very efficient. I had a very bad experience in your Birmingham clinic. You put ownership on our money. I’ve been asked to pay £25 through the phone when I’ve booked in for the first time, saying that I’ll have to cancel 48 hours in advance if I can’t make it so I can get my money back. They’ve also said that the consultation is free. However, they never mention that if don’t want to go for a treatment after the consultation you will never get your money back.
The only way you can get your £25 back is by taking them off a treatment in the clinic. Otherwise they’ll put ownership on your money……just because….why? Without a reason. They force you to have a treatment, otherwise you won’t see your money back.
Very unprofessional service. Wouldn’t ever recommended this clinic.
They’ll also stress you with phone calls- 3 times a week!!!! They’re desperate for getting people in.
I’d give them 0 stars if I could.

Beautifully presented clinic and very knowledgable staff. I am in my 50’s so I considered whether laser hair removal would be effective for me, but after a consultation I felt confident in the ability of this clinic to target my specific concerns and they have exceeded my expectations. I have recommended SwissLaser to my daughters and they have both seen incredible results too – I would only trust this clinic and my practitioner with my hair removal needs going forward.

I have been to other clinics in the past and have not had the same result.
The machine used at SwissLaser successfully targeted fine and darker hair on different parts of my body. With previous laser sessions I’ve had elsewhere, the laser only worked on areas that had dark hair on fair skin, which meant a lot of areas saw absolutely no benefit to laser.

The clinic is kept to a high standard, has friendly, professional staff and the sessions are actually really relaxing!
With previous laser at other clinics, the laser has been so insanely painful. I’d take painkillers before sessions and it would still hurt so much. To the point where I stopped going back. I also learnt to take antihistamines as the laser would cause really bad swelling to certain parts of my body.
At SwissLaser the laser used is pretty much painless (I fell asleep during my session) and has zero downtime.

If you’re thinking of getting laser, this is a no-brainer.

I’ve waited until my third visit to share my experience and the results half way through have been amazing! I’ve been to several well known laser clinics in the Midlands and unfortunately, paid a lot for results which were sub-par.
