Was told would been seen in around 6 hours, was seen within 4 hours. Seen by Murad Khan, absolute brilliant doctor, VERY knowledgeable, patient and answered allQuestions confidently which was reassuring. The A&E was busy but more because of limited shift staff. Thanks for a pleasant visit.[/su_testimonial][su_testimonial name="Manta" photo="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a/ACg8ocJgENEStMuwc_C-0y4ZGrELkxxs4Jk-U8Z3KhQxbrJboaYDy-w=s120-c-rp-mo-ba3-br100"]Despite the NHS being underfunded and understaffed, I really felt like the team here were trying their best to get all patients seen and cared for. The exiting managers were calling doctors who weren’t on duty to come in as it was so busy - it was nice to see them make an effort to rectifying long wait times rather than just give up and leave. It said wait time of 6 hours but I was out of there in 3, so I really appreciate the team there. The male manager (could have been south Asian I’m not sure) was really great at came to speak to us all and explain the delays. Thank you all![/su_testimonial][su_testimonial name="ideas for all john" photo="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a/ACg8ocJi1O8SMUSg1BZYOo9TwASrH_hSLOhOnK-92lQmJ9gZJdoqww=s120-c-rp-mo-br100"]Tried to phone them first before going in for emergency treatment waited nearly hour just to talk to someone finally when I got through said hello the lady( triage) cut me off and when attempting to ting again got voicemail this dept is closed at 2pm then tried other depts phone just rings no one answering and website clearly says they close at 7pm they are getting their funding from government so isn't being managed properly this is clearly the worst run hospital I've been to in 50 years this is a clear example of staff taking wages but not doing their jobs efficiently[/su_testimonial][su_testimonial name="Char Lee" photo="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a/ACg8ocIAxMNYrtecOy8THwtDinJIVLzriSPRcL5c4O7xa3RgE5NNNA=s120-c-rp-mo-ba4-br100"]Some staff care some staff don’t give a….Government need to fix the nhs it’s on its….Not even busy and a 4h wait??People think it’s free but we all pay tax and national insurance, well some of us do.[/su_testimonial][su_testimonial name="vince m" photo="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a/ACg8ocJzSjY040TZ4KcsouUKEmh2LnHe-YiTVx47Qh7baudjEQRYlA=s120-c-rp-mo-ba5-br100"]Had an eye problem that was worrying, after taking Doctors advice I decided to go to the Eye hospital. It's always worth getting a lift here or go by public transport just in case you need dilating eyes drops which renders driving impossible. Long story short. Was very well treated by both the nurses the administration staff. Finally expertly treated by the Doctor who took her time and explained everything in lay man's terms and was both very reassuring and professional. Good news on all fronts. You may have to wait 3 to 4 hours but you get first class treatment here. There is plenty of parking on site should you be lucky to get a lift. But as I said don't bring your car if you can avoid it.[/su_testimonial] View all reviewsInformation about Birmingham & Midland Eye Centre
