Little Swans Day Nursery

I would like to say a big thank you to Miss Zoe for the amazing care and support she has given my son. From the very first day, she made us feel so welcome and comfortable. She is incredibly kind, patient, and always happy to help. She’s very easy to talk to and genuinely cares about the children. Since being in her class, I’ve noticed a big improvement in my son’s communication skills—he’s become much more confident and social. It’s clear that he feels happy, safe, and supported with Miss Zoe, and as a parent, that means everything to me. My baby started little swans day nursery from 11 months. All the staff have been super supportive in her settling in sessions which put us at ease. Little swans gives a warm welcoming feel. I would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to all the AMAZING staff in Jelly babies for looking after my baby girl. Each week I can see such a difference in her confidence and social skills. As parents we enjoy the daily updates and photos to see what jelly babies are up to.

My daughter ‘Aliza’ has been going to this nursery since the age of 2. I am so pleased with the nursery as they cater for every need. The staff are remarkable and the nursery provides a rich curriculum with many activities for the children. My daughter loves going to nursery, she feels happy as it’s another one of her safe space after home. Dee (her nursery teacher) is amazing, she has a lot of experience working with children and she always communicates with us parents regularly. Aliza comes home and only has positive things to say about Dee. Dee is a great teacher and supports the children very well providing nurturing support. McKenzie works with Dee and is a great support for the children, she really engages well with children and parents. She has a positive attitude and is always happy to help. Every morning I drop Aliza off and Sonia consistently will welcome her and settle her down to eat her breakfast. This is a really big help especially for us working parents. My daughter has had so many experiences here at the nursery ranging from: Animals coming in, forest school visits, drama tots, regular library visits and many more. Thank you so much to the management team (Sam and Elaine) for giving my daughter such a positive nursery experience to leave with.

My son started here in September and I have nothing but good words to say about this nursery. The management is engaged, attentive and always exploring new learning opportunities and adventures for the children. Safeguarding seems very efficient and parents are always kept in the loop and about anything that concerns the nursery, staff or children. Learning journeys are shared daily in detail which helps connect with my child's day and ask questions. The staff are always friendly, polite and helpful. Denise in particular is an absolute star! She manages my son exceptionally and seems to genuinely enjoy her role. Always available, willing to help and fun with the kids. My son is happy and flourishing under their care.

My son has been at Little Swans for the last 6 months and I could not he happier with the nursery. He comes home so happy every day, loves all the extra activities, cooking, singing, playing different educational games. The staff are gentle and attentive and they give good daily summaries of what they’ve been up to, sending pictures on the parents group. A really great place for him to grow and develop. I highly recommend this nursery.

I just want to say a massive thank you to all the amazing staff at little swans. Both my children have attending the nursery and our experience has been amazing. My oldest daughter suffers with food allergies and excema and I felt during her time there all her individual needs were met and catered for. My little one took a while to settle in but thanks to Sam and Elaine and all the support they gave us she quickly settled into nursery. She is 4 now and is a confident, happy little girl who loves nursery and is very sad to be leaving but ready for school. A special mention to Dee who has had both of my girls over the last 3 years. She helped them both settle into preschool and gave them the confidence they have today. My oldest is excelling at school and I believe that is down to everything Dee and the rest of the staff have taught her during her time at Little Swans.

My twins joined the preschool at Little Swans last year after their prior nursery suddenly closed. The staff at Little Swans were absolutely brilliant at getting them settled in after such a sudden change and they have been thriving there ever since - I’m so glad we chose this nursery! Communication from the nursery is excellent with daily updates and photos of what the children have been up to, as well as a monthly newsletter. My children have so much fun there, and go into nursery happily every morning. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and attentive, and are always happy to take the time to talk to you about your child’s day at collection time.
