I started seeing Dr. John about halfway through my third pregnancy at the recommendation of my midwife. This was my second pregnancy dealing with a debilitating pelvic condition called SPD, and I couldn’t imagine going five more months in the amount of constant pain I was in. Even movements as basic as walking and rolling over in bed hurt. After my first visit, I noticed an incredible difference in how I was able to move. The pain decreased so much right away, and regular visits to Archetype kept me moving—and even able to keep up with working out—until the end of my pregnancy. And all of them experienced the same significant improvement in energy level, weight control and general overall health. The weight control piece does not appear to be a direct goal for Dr. Palmer's, but it is certainly a welcoming byproduct. So, after all of these members of my family became patients of Dr. Palmer, and all received similar, very positive results, I decided to give it a try. I was a little reluctant at first, since I really didn’t have anything “wrong” with me - that is, I had maintained fairly consistent mental acuity, energy support and was in good general health, whereas each of my family members had something specific that they were trying to improve, whether it was skin issues, menstruation issues or natural immunity concerns. However, I figured I had nothing to lose, and if I only incrementally improved energy levels and perhaps very slightly lowered my A1c, etc., that it would be worth it. Having just completed my fifth week and Dr. Palmer‘s “Program“, I can report that I have already achieved much greater than “incremental“ improvement in those areas, as well as improvement in many other areas that I did not even recognize were deficient.
