If you know someone who loves rocks and gemstones, they will love this place. My seven-year old rock crazy daughter loved it thoroughly. Few dinosaurs’ fossils also there. From a variety of Agates to different types of calcite, pyrites and so much more you can find here. It is a paradise for rock lovers. A hidden gemstone in itself.

Amazing place for all the museum lovers. This place is so peaceful and calm. We got a guilded tour from the director. I just love how he explained everything and also involved us at the same time. Thank you for also showing us the storage area where there are like 30,000 collected things. We got to see some very expensive stuff too. It was for sure a fabulous experience.Do try the tour and highly recommend visiting this museum wherever you are.

Free entry to a museum that is (relatively) well taken care of, with abundance of information available to read and browse at our own pace, and seeing actual fossils. Super worth it to any geology fan! Some displays aren't working well (like the magnet and the mineral rocks) but still worth it!

All the wonders of geology and paleontology in a small museum inside the university buildings. Particular highlights are the Allosaurus and pterodactyl skeletons, the sabre tooth tiger and the collection of fluorescent minerals. For a small museum there is a huge amount of material and the information is well presented and in-depth. The staff are very enthusiastic and knowledgeable.
