I had Ikra as my solicitor to support my husbands Spouse Visa application and she was excellent. From start to finish she was very professional and always available to answer any questions I had. My partner and I called many solicitors who were unable to help us as our case was considered a complex one due to my partner being an asylum seeker. There was very little confidence in believing we would be successful in being together. After many hours & months of trying to find the solicitor that was right for us, we made our decision to go with Axis Solicitors in Birmingham. This became the best decision we ever made. We were initially apprehensive as we live in Scotland, however Olly assured us this wouldn’t be a problem & they could still represent us should our case go to an appeal. It was suggested to us by Olly & Ikra that my partner should withdraw his asylum claim & leave the UK voluntarily to return to his home country. By doing this, it respects the UK law & shows the government you don’t wish to abuse their system or take any government funding. This gives a better chance for my partners return to the UK. We did find this to be a huge risk but trusted our solicitors. Olly & Ikra had been honest throughout the whole process, explaining whatever we do, there would always be an element of risk. It was an extremely anxious 7 weeks wait since my parter done his biometrics test, however we’re pleased to share that we’ve been successful & are currently planning 2 weddings (one for each of our cultures). We really can’t thank Olly & Ikra enough for everything they’ve done for us. They constantly reassured us through what was a very difficult time. We mostly worked closely with Ikra & not one day went past where she would leave us without a reply of any kind. She was always approachable & reachable when we needed her. Ikra provided us with all of the relevant people we needed to inform throughout the process. Even now, she is still messaging my partner of trustworthy travel agents to ensure of his safe return. What initially is a dragged-out, time-consuming application was handled with efficiency and speed. I only needed to provide a few basic documents, everything else was taken care of professionally. Appointments at the office were brief and to the point, and Ikra was always available to answer any questions via phone, email, or in person. I was never left unsure about where things stood. And obviously, one of the biggest points to consider - price. It is extremely competitive (I have asked around and know people who've gone elsewhere), so really no reason to go elsewhere for your application. Highly recommended
