I engaged Immigration Advice Service (IAS) to handle my visa renewal. The Home Office asked IAS more than once to provide specific evidence about my UK company’s activities. Instead of supplying this, IAS replied that the evidence was "not required." Because of this refusal to provide what the Home Office explicitly requested, my application was refused. This has caused me serious financial and personal harm. I am now pursuing a formal complaint with the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA). I am sharing this so that others are aware of my experience when considering IAS for representation.
My partner and I had two video calls with Jason Griffiths, in April and August this year. Jason was incredibly pleasant, patient and attentive. He answered our questions and ran through our options with great knowledge and experiences, very professional and precise. He responded to our emails fast and even went beyond to help with some issue we had with the IAS (problem solved now thanks to him). Now I’m preparing for my application with the help of one of the other IAS lawyers. She’s been wonderful. I’ll provide another review after my application has been submitted.
I have been very impressed so far with all of the members of the team that have dealt with my case. They are all very professional and seem very trustworthy and honest. The video call with Jason was very helpful And covered all bases giving me the confidence to go ahead and use IAS without hesitation.
I can't recommend Immigration Advice Service Ltd highly enough. It was fast and reliable, and the receptionist Rachel Turner was wonderful. I was lucky to be matched with lawyer, Jason Griffiths. Jason went above and beyond to help me and answer all my questions and concerns. The morning of my appointment, I was having internet troubles and was worried I would my appointment would be a 'no show'. To my surprise, Jason Griffiths called my mobile to reach out, and I was so relieved. He was kind, personable, thorough, and made sure all my questions were answered and that I left with all the information I needed. I highly recommend this firm. Thank you again!
I needed advice regarding my application. I was phoned by the reception team and they took full details of my situation, they then provided me with an appointment within days with Simon Magava. I have had contact with several solicitors in the past regarding this case, however, no one will come close to Simon's knowledge and expertise. For any future immigration applications, Simon will definitely be my solicitor. He combed through the case, in fine detail, he then responded to my (oh so many) questions in detail right there and then, he was quick on his feet and knew laws and legislation like he knew his name. He also came up with very intelligent suggestions to help with the application. On top of that he was friendly, cheerful, and uplifting. I am very impressed with the service as a whole, but especially with Simon. A God send.
Jason Griffith was so helpful in guiding me in my complicated attempt to get a British passport as a US citizen. He was patient, understanding, offered informed suggestions and advice, and even responded to my follow up emails. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone trying to navigate this process in need of some clear advice! Thank you Jason!
We had a great experience with Simon. He was so knowledgable and answered all of our questions thoroughly and expertly. He helped us come up with options first, and then a solid plan. I was grateful for the written confirmation of advice as well for future reference.
