She has spina bifida so this is a disabled person's and careers review. The disabled changing room is excellent. They have a disabled shower with chair, toilet with hand rails. They allow you to keep the key so you can keep your stuff in there while swimming or use a locker. No ones else is able to access the disabled changing rooms so you know you will get 1 without waiting. My only criticism is the disabled chairs in the changing room. You can fold them up when not in use but if you have someone who is incontinent and needs nappies/pads they are not able to lie down for you to change their pads so trying to do that in a sitting position on a small disabled chair is challenging if the disabled person can't help with being able to move or weight bare. It would be great if the chairs was benches. The wheelchair lift into the pool is great and they have a special wheelchair for the user to transfer into from their own chair. The lift is safe and the staff are very helpful. No issues. So 4 out of 5 [/su_testimonial][su_testimonial name="Sadaf Ali" photo="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a/ACg8ocJjqNhXBt2PXnRg4HFCon3HUv2Os66-t_C7Xb09yzVUIXdPug=s120-c-rp-mo-ba4-br100"]I have now been going to them for gym plus pool for over a year and i do highly recommend. The staff are extremely polite .I have taken adult swimming lessons with various instructors and they all are extremely knowledgeable and great at what they do but a special shout out to Connor , who just took one lesson on replacement to someone that was not around and i learnt so much in just 30 min lesson , 4 different things Connor picked on that i was struggling with during a 30 min lesson and with a 1-1 feedback there was so much improvement in short amount of time .Great teacher , extremely polite, and professional.Thank you ![/su_testimonial][su_testimonial name="Barbara Haywood" photo="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a/ACg8ocLkC5buR5Gn1gBzrRshX8INmH_ARdkrv6IqBL-rhLibBZiZAA=s120-c-rp-mo-ba4-br100"]Pool is good well organized. The gym i found very stressful. Booked onto the be active for the over 60's. You only get one hour per day and it comes with limited places both the swim and gym. This is a set hour so you can't book to suite any other time. 20 places is all that's offered. When I did booked the gym it was so busy . I booked an introductory session but that was not good. The person doing this introductory session didn't have much time for me . Found their attitude alittle off putting. Don't think I'll bother with the gym to much.
