I have just collected my dog from Vanity Furr after her first visit and I am so pleased. The groomers were lovely and did a great job. They asked what I wanted and did exactly what I asked, listened and took note of my dogs habits. When I returned I was greeted by a very calm dog who had really enjoyed being pampered, spoilt and cared for by a team who truly love animals and their job. We look forward to returning again soon. Thank you so much.

Atlas my kitten was so well taken care of by the team at Vanity Furr he was crying all the way there but left smelling and looking super fresh and was very happy! It’s so nice that they have one day just for cats which makes it less stressful for our little ones we will be coming back regularly!

What I don’t understand before we moved Symba Chow Chow went to Tails of Brighton for his bath, cut, claws and groom he was gone all afternoon.
This morning he went to Vanity Furr and was there 40 minutes, he came out still wet and not sure and slippers or sissors have been near him except for where chunks of fur has been chopped out .
She claims she couldn’t do his paws or claws as he wouldn’t stand up.been he is 13 years old ! but why could they not have been done whilst he was laid down.
The only concellation for today was I was told £65 and I only paid £45.
But he won’t be going again and I wouldn’t recommend…
As you can see on the photos he’s got chunks missing and left long straggly bits all over.

I had been having a hard time finding the right groomer for my cats, but I’m so glad I discovered Vanity Furrr. From the moment I walked in, Laura and Kian were incredibly welcoming and made both me and my pets feel comfortable. Had been waiting a while to get my dog Loki in here as the reviews seemed great.
I wasn’t disappointed. The groom was head and shoulders above what we have had previously over the last 2 years and is so noticeably better it is astounding.
100% recommend and very reasonable price.

This is my second time for using this cat groomers. Today Sam gave Bonnie a teddy cut he was soo good with Bonnie. He was kind, caring and very attentive towards Bonnie.You can tell he loves animals .

If I could give 10 starts I would! Highly recommend. Magic went in for her first ever trip to the groomers and Sam made sure magic felt safe while he groomed her as she was feeling very nervous. Sam has the cats best interest at heart and can tell he really cares about the pet he is working on.

Sam puts the need of the cat first he did an incredible job on my nervous cat. I honestly couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. I wouldn’t take her anywhere else.

We have been bringing our poppy here regularly for about 2 years now always the most amazing service, Sam and Lily really love her like she’s their own! 100% all about what is best for the cats, expect your cat to get a lot of love here poppy never wants to leave!! Would 100% recommend

Our boy cat hates being groomed evan slightly! We took them to see Sam and Lily, and I’ve never known them both be so calm and chilled!

Sam managed to basically get so much fur out of him armed with just a comb that we nearly built another cat!

Our cats also don’t travel well at all, and after they came out, they didn’t make a single peep and just lay there majority of the way back.

Was given this number for a quote on cat grooming. I called up and spoke to a very rude man. I explained that my kittens fur was all in all fine however she had a couple of matts which needed removing. The guy told me very rudely that is ‘not up to me what needs to be done for my cat and is up to him’. He then went on to tell me how most groomers would just ‘take my money and not do the job’. I asked if I could bring my kitten in for a quick look to see where I stand with what needs to be done. He then went on to tell me he ‘does not have time to waste to book my kitten in for a groom when I may refuse and end up taking her to a competitor’. He then rudely cut me off. I would 100% not even attempt to take my kitten to a company that can be so rude and clearly have no care for their pets as they say they do. Absolutely appalled by the disrespect.

Wonderful salon! We just had our first of hopeful many future visits to the salon. They listened closely to what we were asking for cut wise for our Aussie shepherds (summer cut) and then did a wonderful cut….and the dogs smelled great after their bath as well. I felt like the pricing was fair and they completed the two dos in a timely manner as well. Highly recommend this salon.

I had such a great experience with Pawtraits! She fully groomed my Siberian and trimmed my Scottish Fold’s nails with so much care and attention. She was incredibly sweet and made sure both of my cats were comfortable throughout the process. It’s not easy finding someone so gentle and patient with animals, but she clearly loves what she does. Highly recommend her for anyone looking for a kind and professional groomer!

Took my cavapoo for her first groom at Pawtraits. So happy to have found a groomers so close to home! Good to know they also offer lots of additional services such as teeth cleaning which will come in handy. Already booked in for her next appointment!

I highly recommend Pawtraits Dog Salon. I have just returned home with my dog, who has had a bad experience at her last groomers and is incredibly anxious about being groomed- it put me off getting her groomed as she was so traumatised. Tara was amazing, when I explained and took the time to listen and go through what we wanted. Lily came out not only looking and smelling amazing, but also she was happy and wagging her tail. It is also worth noting that you can make your appointments online and we got ours within 24 hours. I have found when looking for other groomers, I have been waiting for a call back or even worse I have been told to send a message and they just don’t come back to you, or they simply have no appointments. This system is seamless and easy to use. Very pleased.

Flossy has been going to Pawtraits for a while now. She really isn’t the biggest fan of the groomers and Tara has always been so patient with Floss and given her a great groom. More recently Rahima groomed Floss. I was nervous for someone new to groom due to Flossy, again due to her not being the biggest fan but I can honestly say Rahima was so great with Floss, a calm and kind nature but gets the job done and a great one at that. Rahima also offered us some great advice to help Floss! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pawtraits.

Used Divine for the first time today. I will definitely send my Max there next time he’s due for a cut. He came back looking and smelling fab. Thanks guys, excellent job and cheaper than other groomers in the area. ( by a lot! ) Would definitely recommend.

I took my jack Russell who is 13,years old and very nervous due to his first owner abusing him.hes scared of alot of people and can be snappy.i did explain this to K9 dog parlour. So I got there they made me feel at ease.as I was anxious about them emptying his anel glands.but they did it and were all so kind.gof bless you all you make animals feel at ease around you all.god bless you I will be recommending you all.great job.thank you all again .jack Russell Mr tiggs and his mum Lyn x

These girls are so lovely and my Peppa went in looking like a farm dog and came out looking like a show dog and she smells amazing they tidied up her fur so well her feet and toes are super clean I wish I had a before photo but I didn’t bother to take one next time I definitely will do, but she’s so fluffy and white now you can just tell she’s had a good clean. She was super happy seems like she had a good old time in there with all the ladies (she’s definitely an human attention dog so if your dog isn’t like that it might be different) but Yh definitely going back.

Went here last week with my dog Salem they were so good with him, he’s only 8 mths and has never had the full works. Lol I think he behaved
He came out smelling wonderful would definitely recommend also very cheerful happy staff

Had my Sprocker groomed today and I could not be more delighted with how she looks ! The staff were friendly & service was excellent . My daughter & I are both qualified groomers but due to a medical condition I can no longer groom and my daughter now lives in Cornwall . There is always an anxiety having to groom a groomers dog and or leave her to someone else , but the minute I stepped in the door I knew she was in safe hands . I won’t hesitate in going back and thank you again for a fabulous job x

I cannot recommend Julia enough. She is an amazing dog groomer and a true animal lover. All of her doggy clients are treated as individuals and with care, compassion and respect. My 4 year old Maltese has been going to her salon every three weeks since he was a puppy. Louis absolutely adores Julia and he comes home happy, looking great and smelling divine.

I have been coming to Julia for 11 years. My dog always looks beautiful and smells gorgeous. Julia and her team are very caring and always have the best interests of the dogs they care for. Sometimes my dog is shorter due to her being matted but I know that this has been done for her benefit only and not mine. Reading some of the negative reviews are laughable to be honest. I have never had a bad experience as Julia’s and highly recommend her to everyone. People are just bizarre in their own behaviour at times.

Brilliant. Booking is easy – if you just need a nail clip you can just pop in (no appt needed). The team are really approachable and friendly (it’s so obvious they are pet lovers), and the prices are fantastic. I’d definitely recommend them.

First time with Julia with my 17 week old cavapoo. What a fantastic job she has done . Did exactly what I asked her to do above and beyond . Cooper seemed very calm and relaxed when I returned and I must say he smelt amazing!! . Will definitely be going back .

It is the first time that I have used this service. I feel very upset and am extremely disappointed with my experience. I did initially ask for a teddy bear cut, with a shorter body and to leave his legs long, to find that my dog was significantly shorter all over more than expected. This was said because of matting which I understand however prior communication would have been appreciated. Upon collecting my dog, I was given the wrong lead, of which I had to state which was the correct lead. I then arrive back home to find that my dog was also without his collar. When calling about being unhappy with my experiences, I was abruptly told that ‘if you let me speak then we will just give the collar back to you’ and by the owner ‘these things are very common it’s a common thing to be left without the collar’. I have been to 2 groomers before and have never had this happen, I am extremely disappointed, especially being a small business you would think there would be more care and attention. When I explained that I would be making a review for awareness so other people would not have to feel as I have, I was told that ‘that is unfair to trash my business’ with what I felt as lack of sympathy or regard, I feel very undervalued and unappreciated especially being my first experience as a customer, and do not wish for others to have had a similar experience.

Absolutely brilliant place walked in no booking got my dogs nails clipped so quick and stress free lovely staff and very cheap I would highly recommend to everyone

Wow, we were really nervous about taking Bonnie our Cocker Spaniel for a groom as she is very nervous and anxious of people and other dogs but we really didn’t need to worry. We picked her up and she looked and smelt amazing. The staff are really friendly and kept her really calm. We have already booked her next groom. Thank you so much.

Great Dog Groomers always helpful and efficient. I have been taking my poodle here for over a year, she is always cut to a great standard. The Ladies there are kind and patient…My poodle loves being pampered there.

my two girls go here and the service is always excellent. we have a miniature long haired dachshund (Ailee) and a shepsky (Luna) (which is quite the size and coat difference) and they do an amazing job on both. they take amazing care of them, knowing Ailee has separation anxiety when without me but she showns no bad signs and loves the girls there! their coat difference also shows the amazing experience they have and I would trust no one else to look after my girls and always meet my expectations. if I could give 10 stars I would.

My old boy has been coming here for a few years now and we can’t fault the trim they give him, or the service they provide. Always friendly and flexible with appointments at a great price. Tady loves to visit them ❤️

Amazing business they go above and beyond for my mom she has 2 dogs but recently had a hip operation they pick up and drop the dogs off for her as she’s only round the corner customer service is 10/10 and the dogs come back looking great would like to thank the owner and staff for going the extra mile (Reggie and dodger)

Took our GSD here today after her regular groomer has moved away. She is a very large dog and in standard GSD fashion can be a handful. On arrival, we were met with a smile and our dog, Roxy, was made to feel at home. You can tell the staff are very confident which with the dog I have is very important and knew EXACTLY what to do, which in turn, reduces any stress/anxiety in Roxy. We have updates and pictures throughout and when we collected her she looked and smelt amazing. I cannot recommend the girls enough. We have booked her in again already and now have our new groomers.

The most amazing groomer, our Teddy came back so soft with the most gorgeous cut. The ladies are lovely and so warm. Took great care of our boy. Highly recommend. Thank you again, you now have a customer for life.

Nice, friendly staff ..I have stayed with my dog when he’s been here previously. This time I thought I would leave him as I knew he would be in good hands. No worries at all, he was fine. Can’t be shaved as he has a double coat, but they have done a great job of brushing him through, a general tidy up, nail check and good bath.
Sorry didn’t manage to thank the lady properly for the great service at the end, as my dog was barking a bit too much and wanted to go home!

Jackie has been grooming my Cavapoo since he was a young puppy, his first appointment with her was at 6 months old. She is so sweet and patient with him, she puts up with a few gentle nips from him when he gets over-stimulated and the price is very good value for money too. He always looks so handsome too when I pick him up. Jackie also makes a point to remember things we spoke about at our last visit which is a lovely personal customer experience, I can’t think of a single thing to complain about 🙂 You can see the before vs after!

I took my 11 month old cavachon to Alison at pet needs today. She did an absolutely fantastic job of my Murphy. She was so patient with my little wriggler and spent longer on him to make his experience as enjoyable as possible (as he had a bad experience at a different groomer prior). I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Excellent dogs groomers would recommend to anyone! They are great with our golden doodle in keeping her calm as she is quite a nervous dog in general. So happy with the service, it is a professional, safe and excellent environment for our dog to be groomed.

Our girl is pretty nervous and went for her first groom at aged almost 5. The ladies did an incredible job, exactly what I asked for, and Bon looks and smells incredible. Will definitely go back, we feel very safe and happy using Dazzling Dogs!

Rip-off, £20 deposit paid fair enough, my Cockapoo (bearing in mind not matted etc) booked in for a groom, dropped off was told to pick up an hour and half later expecting to pay what the website stated (I had cash ready) no….walked in my dog was ready then charged more as apparently it took them longer!
They gave me a time to pick up, I was on time and my dog was all ready and waiting.
How was it longer? That’ll be £20 today, so a total of £45 and was meant to be £38!
They hadn’t even cut just a big blow dry, clipped underneath that’s as far as the cutting went.
Wasn’t impressed at all, not the first person to do this to so either.
Never will return.

Took my 5 month gsd in today for his first pamper & groom. Staff really helpful. & polite. JD came out happy which is important. Highly recommended. Booked up for next visit.

Used Dazzling Dogs for over 6 years for our 2 dogs without issue.
My father had a very serious medical emergency on the day of my dogs’ grooming appointment this week and I was told they could do nothing to transfer the booking and took my deposit anyway.

When I called to discuss a few days later, to explain the seriousness of my dad’s emergency, there was no goodwill gesture or even discount offered.

We will not be using Dazzling Dogs again and would advise caution if you have a booking.

Scammers wanted £49 for a full groom for my smooth coat chihuahua. Would cost £25 max and their website states should be £25. Horrible place would not recommend.

We have a husky cross lab who constantly sheds hair all year round. Having tried out many groomers in the past, none of them have been able to match the standard that Dazzling Dogs have today. Today was his first visit and I have got to say, it’s the best he has ever looked! If you own a husky, you will know that one stroke and your hand is covered in fur Well we no longer have this problem! No shedding, no clumps, paws all trimmed and he’s as soft as anything. He even came out with a cute little bow on! 10/10 amazing groomers. Absolutely Fantastic!!!

Our fluffy cute puppy turn to a monkey face . I can’t wait hair face hair grow. We mentioned to them we don’t want too much cut on her face and we want her eyed abit clear but still have round face but what we got instead is absolute botched

They cut all our sweet puppy’s forehead and eye and nose area made her look very unusual.

I believe someone did her grooming for the first time maybe??!! A child could even do better job !!!

I am deeply disappointed with the service. I had been waiting few months for my dog’s grooming appointment, but when I arrived today, I was informed that there was no appointment scheduled. This situation indicates a lack of organisation within the service.

If an appointment is canceled, it is essential that customers are notified promptly. Due to my work commitments, I had arranged for someone to pick up my dog after the grooming, making this situation even more inconvenient.

Moreover, no effort was made to offer a new appointment as soon as possible. Instead, I was told that my dog would be placed on a waiting list, which is concerning as past experiences suggest that I may not be contacted for a rescheduled appointment.

This experience has been incredibly disappointing.

I can’t fault their grooming, my dogs always look and smell lovely but their phone service is abysmal. I have been trying to call for the last 3 days leaving several messages for no one to answer the phone or call back so missed appointment and can’t even rearrange

Booked an appointment at 6pm the appointment got moved to 5pm without my knowledge… supposedly they called? I received no notice of the change. I called them over 3 times on the day of the groom no answer. I also called them days before the groom still no answer. Waste of time and patience. The next available slot given was in March… it is currently January… beyond a joke, no apology and explanation.

Adele in the groom room is an animal abuser. I visited the salon and saw her pulling dogs aggressively and throwing items around the salon whilst dogs were tied up scared. The other members of staff seem wonderful, however I would never trust my dog with Adele.

The best groomers in Birmingham. The workers are polite and professional and make the owner and pet feel comfortable and at ease. They have priced their services really well. I would highly recommend the Groom Room.
