I really rate this pet shop. I have bought my finches here on 2 occasions. I came back recently for some advice and was helped by a lovely lady (I forgot her name) I bought some new additions for my aviary as I have the space (I intend to go higher so I can fit a real tree thats safe for birds) they all get along and having the best time in the sun and enjoying a bird bath. I thought ill add the pictures so you can see how they are getting on.

We bought our little rabbit from here and we’re so happy. He’s so friendly towards us. No hesitation and not scared at all.
In just a few days my family has gotten so attached to him.

Kings Heath pet centre is by far my favourite pet shop. They have a wonderful array of products and at good prices too.
Amazing staff, very friendly and offer plenty of helpful advice. We purchased a beautiful little Gerbil this weekend who has already become a much loved member of the family!
The lady who helped with my enquiry was really attentive and made sure we had everything we needed to ensure our Gerbil would be well looked after. I can’t thank you guys enough for the amazing work you do for all the lovely little pets you have in store, they are very well looked after and cared for.

I’ve been visiting Kings Heath Pet Shop regularly to get products for my aquarium. The staff are always helpful and kind. It’s a small shop, but they carry a wide variety of pets! They don’t have much items because of their space. But you may have what you needs for.

We purchased some budgies and cockateils for our aviary and we are delighted with them we came right before closing time.and the staff were very patient with us

My friend got two rabbits 9 week old ones and the lady who served us had exceptional customer service. Was brilliant from start to finish, very friendly. Set us up with everything we needed and gave us lots of information on how to look after the bunnies, even offered to show us how to hold them, which now thinking about it could’ve done with seeing and could do with some advice.

The best pet shop in the West Midlands by far. Staff are always incredibly helpful and kind, I will not get my pets from anywhere else. I just bought a little kakariki bird yesterday, and the ladies who have helped me out with everything have been amazing. I even had a call earlier to ask for some advice and received exemplary help & support, didn’t feel rushed at all, she took her time to explain a few things about the bird and was incredibly helpful. I’ve got all my pets from here a dragon, hamsters, fish, and now a little kakariki, and they’ve all been healthy and lived long lives. I recommend this shop to everyone as I’ve always gone here since I was a child getting my first hamster and it has always been amazing and staff go above and beyond to help support you and your pet ❤️

Cracking service from knowledgeable staff purchase a bearded dragon and a lizard gecko plus vivs . Definitely be visiting again soon .

I left my 2 precious Fiji iguanas in the care of Birmingham reptiles while away for a week. I am very happy with the clear care they took of my animals! I’m very happy to of found a place I can board my animals again in the future. Thank you.

After looking for ages I reached out to see if they could source a reptile I was in need of and with no issue they were able to source me some. I bought 3 Acanthasura Lepidogaster happy and healthy with no issues. Sadly one died however they quickly resolved this issue giving me options to go from. Communication was fast and great! Amazing service will purchase again

Love these guys. Super friendly and they took perfect care of a couple of my pets whilst I was away in Spain last week. They also have an incredible stock of gorgeous well-cared-for animals. Don’t see why anyone would go anywhere else.

Honestly this shop is the best shop for reptiles! I absolutely love this place. We bought our beardie from them in April and was given so much time and information for her and they set us up ready to go before we left. They said any problems they always help and they really do. I worry a lot about my dragon and if I’m doing it right and I am always messaging them asking questions and they reply so fast and it’s never too much trouble for them! I buy my bugs from them and any accessories and I used there boarding services a week ago and they was incredible with her. I checked in half way through my holiday and they sent me pictures of her so I knew she was okay and she came back to me happy and full of energy. Would never go anywhere else for reptiles or assistance. Thank you so much for all the support and help over the last 4 months!!!

Amazingly helpful staff all round, happy to answer all our questions and service was great for getting us everything we needed for our new tortoise Tank.

We were given more than information to get started on looking after them and looking forward to boarding Tank for upcoming holidays with them.

I brought my tortoise Apollo from them just before Christmas and they were amazing you can tell they truely care about the animals well fair, I recently had a scare with my tortoise so I messaged them and Conor got back to me very quickly and asked if I could bring him in to have a look. They were very friendly and helpful putting my mind at ease being a first time owner. The aftercare they provide is brilliant.

Staff are very helpful and it doesn’t feel like they’re trying to upsell you anything you don’t actually need. Don’t know what her name is but the girl with pink hair was particularly helpful when I was purchasing my beta fish Milo

Disappointed. Staff wasn’t helpful. I came to get fish I like, but wasn’t helped properly. I was showing her which fish I wanted but she didn’t.This is a hobby—I expect to choose what I pay for.

We often shop for our cat food here, and it is good, but today was the first time we attended Pet Pals! Laura, who introduced us to most amazing guinea pigs Ozzi and Witas, was very knowledgeable, patient with kids and so loving with her furry friends. The kids had a fantastic time, fed the guys three weeks worth of food, and gave them lots of cuddles! They also got to feed the fishes in the end. Laura is such a star human being!

I had an excellent experience at Pets at Home Selly Oak thanks to Talley. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about helping me find exactly what I needed. She took the time to answer my questions, offered great advice, and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Fantastic customer service – thank you, Talley!

I absolutely love this pet shop. The staff are always so friendly and helpful, and they really care about the animals. They have a great selection of products, and everything is always good quality. My dog Lucy always gets so excited when we visit. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for her food and treats. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately the staff is always snappy and rude in this store. But today was the worst experience.
We had to get some specific cat food today and I asked if a certain brand is better quality than what we usually buy which was met with a ” I dunno”.
To my question what brand food is eligible for a voucher I had the staff member sucked his teeth rolled his eyes and said ” oh my god” and when I moved to slow ( I am disabled!) He kept rushing me and rolling his eyes.
I felt terrible!

I usually spend a lot of money in this store as I have 3 cats with alot of health issues.
But today was definitely the last time I went to this store!
It feels like I as a costumer am a burden to the staff and the staff doesn’t like working there or even helping anyone!

Fabulous store, lots of choice for your ets from little rabbits to veterinarian services and grooming spot too. However the jung and very capable staff are not very much to help carry heavy bags of dog food, cat food ect. The problem I had they hadn’t even offered to help just watch me struggle through out the shop to the till. It wasn’t a big problem and maybe it’s not their job but considering how much money we all spend for our pets it would be nice to to give a little extra to someone who maybe can’t or don’t have the physical strength to do so. Apart from that they are excellent.

Absolutely amazing experience. We were looked after by Gracie. She was very informative and very polite. I felt very comfortable and she helped me choose the right things for my fish. She had a smile on her face and she was very patient. Cannot wait to come back here again. Highly recommend visiting this branch.

We visited the store to purchase a new color for our dog Finn. The staff were very friendly and helpful and interacted with Finn offering attention and treats. Finch in particular was very helpful and helped us with trialing the collars, it was much appreciated! We’ll be back soon!

I always go with my puppy and the staff are always giving love. Specifically today though, Christmas Eve, my puppy was struggling with feeling overstimulated due to loads of people, loud noises and intense smells (she loves treats). Once we was greeted by staff member Gracie, she was able to keep Luna, my puppy, in a calm state. Gifting her with treats and patience. She took her time and didn’t rush us in order to find what we wanted. Love!

Gordon looked after us today and he was amazing. Very knowledgeable and so patient with my daughter. We came home with everything we needed for our new hamster and some important information that he passed onto us. Charlotte who served us was also really friendly. Love this store!

Fab staff, were great with recommending fish that would love happily together and what we’d need. All the fish are happy, healthy and doing well… The guppies are incredibly colourful, constantly moving and make for a lively aquarium. We brought a Molly fish that the assistant mentioned might be pregnant, she popped out a few babies a week ago and they are doing well. It was a good thing we had a big tank 🙂

All in all a lovely experience and we are enjoying the new additions!

I for got the lady’s name behind the till she was so friendly and helpful with everything. I ended up buying more then I could hold and was running behind to collect my daughter. My signal was rubbish she also allowed me to use her phone to get a taxi home. Which I appreciated so much. The manager also was a huge help also with all the questions I had about my new puppy. **REVIEW OF CAR PARK **
Absolutely ridiculous parking enforcement from UKPS! I briefly entered the nearby building for a few minutes and was slapped with a parking fine. There were no clear signs warning about this, and it feels like nothing more than a money-making scheme. Instead of providing fair parking solutions, they seem more interested in penalising people unfairly. Avoid this place if you don’t want to be hit with an unexpected fine!

Brilliant customer service Hazel and Natalie sourced the Cat Licki Mat which I’d been trying to purchase for a while .

In fact all the staff are very helpful other companies could take a Leaf out of their book

Went in there just to show my brother the rabbits as he loves them so much ❤️ Lucy was amazing she even got a rabbit out for my little brother to see and I ended up falling in love with the little guy. I was talking to Lucy saying that I really want him which she told me that she can put him on hold for me. I put the £35 down for him and waited till I got paid to get everything else. I finally have him at home with me and he amazing.

Absolutely fabulous, the range of products was second to none. I know nothing about dogs and or dog food, but the young lady that assisted me was fantastic. She asked about the dog type it’s age and habits. She explained what “hairy cows ears” were, what where bangers for dogs. I could have spent the day in that shop. Excellent product range and excellent staff.

It is a 4.5 stars review. Shopped for rabbits items. Wide range of items to buy. Couldn’t find a cage I wanted for the price I thought was reasonable – Amazon to the rescue! But there was no issue with the rest.

shocking customer service, been in here a couple of times for fish and always get left waiting and then made to feel as if im an inconvenience. recommend going to sheldon branch instead as they are much more friendly and helpful.

I popped in today after work to pick up some dog food around 6:30pm, Elijah (sorry if spelt incorrectly) was really helpful and polite. He even explained ways i could save money. I will definitely be back in store amd will be recommending to friends and family

I visit this store quite often, although most of the cat food isn’t cheap they do have offers on so always good to go in and have a look. If you are a VIP member you also get more discounts and vouchers with extra money off! All the staff are very friendly and helpful

Hands down one of the best marine aquatics stores in the country.
I’d go as far as saying Tee has the best selection of corals in the UK ,absolutely stunning range.
Excellent service, family-friendly, and always welcoming.
Skip the Sea Life Centre, head to Tee’s Reef instead!

Me and my Mum popped in as I’m considering starting a marine tank. The owner is fantastic! He is knowledgeable and so passionate about the hobby that he started almost two decades ago. I like the ideas that he takes on students to share his extensive knowledge with. He is not pushy to sell his products and I seen that his prices are a lot cheaper than some of the well known pet store items. I’m still doing my research on marine aquariums and when I’ve decided to take the plunge (excuse the pun!), without a doubt, this is the place I will be using to buy my set up, fish and maintenance products. Thanks for showing us around and shearing your knowledge with us

I found Tees Reef purely by accident and I am so glad that I did! The stock is in excellent condition and the presentation is top notch. They have some really rare pieces that are absolutely stunning. His passion for everything marine is very clear to see.
One thing that was really nice (and you don’t see it much) is they have provided toys and a Lego table to keep the children amused while parents browse. A nice touch!
Definitely going back soon……

Tee and team always make you feel welcome nothing is too much trouble anytime I’ve been went for bit of advice from a recommendation and now it’s the only place I go to get fish rock and hardware. Always happy to give advice and customer service second to none wouldn’t go anywhere else

The best been to so far only down side I have to drive 40 minutes to get there as from Leamington spa . But worth the drive Amazing set ups. Lots of stock choose from. 10 out of 10

Amazing staff. They are very knowledgeable and always happy to help. We have had our gargoyle gecko for over a year and still receive help from them. Never a silly question. While we were away, he stayed with them boarding, and he was well looked after. Definitely recommend.

Purchased a baby Bearded Dragon with new substrate for my vivarium along with baby Locust, nothing seems to much and always there to help and give honest advice .

We have recently purchased our first ever bearded dragon. Brendan and his wife are great. They supplied everything we needed all in one, especially the most valuable item….information. we now have a happy addition to our family!! Belle the bearded dragon. We won’t be going anywhere else. My Husband and I bought two Axolotl (not from here) however we came in once and now always come back for advise and products. Extremely knowledgable and always here to help. I have called and spent ages on phone getting help and guidance. We travel quite far to get to World of Fish but will always keep coming back as we trust the advise here and both are very friendly and happy to help with anything. Lovely family business. An amazing shop, a wide variety of animals, feed and accessories.
The knowledge of staff is incredible- even now l still ask if I’m unsure. It’s easy to look online but the information isn’t always accurate.
I go back every week to get my frog and beardie food, never had a problem.
I love how passionate they are about their animals, they checked my setup before sale which is great because they identified where I’d made errors.

Was once a regular customer (pre Covid). Visited today after years, the owner was initially dismissive. He then shouted at my child making it clear he didn’t want us there. He also vaped the entire time. Used to be a decent place.

Although I acknowledge that there were many dangers in the shop that desperately need to be rectified for your customers safety. Instead of giving myself a chance to parent my child and ask them not to run (which I would have done for their safety and it only occurred once) you were quick to shout unnecessarily at them causing them stress. My children were not “acting” they have disabilities and they were all excited as they love animals. Again, only one of them ran ONCE and it could’ve been dealt with in a better manner. I do not appreciate your discriminatory language and will gladly never return to your hazardous shop.

I went in today to get some dried cat food for my newly adopted 12 year old cat, Charlie. He’s only been with me for four days and he’s already so at home.

Pets at Home have plenty of choice of food and accessories for cats and other animals, such as dogs, rabbits, reptiles, birds, besides food, etc for garden birds.

The staff are friendly and cheerful, knowledgeable about the different types of animals, the shop is very clean and nicely set out.

And it’s only a short walk from where I live.

This store has always been open until 6pm, got there at 5.32pm today after and the staff were just turning the key to lock the automatic doors and said they are already closed!!!!!! They could have let me in to purchase one bag of dog food… waste of a journey! The business hours should be updated on Google. All other pets at homes are open until 8pm, not sure what makes this one so different…..or do the staff make their own hours up when they feel like it??

States they are open until 9pm online so I got there at 6pm and the doors were shut. The security guard pointed to this on the window. I travelled on the bus to get here after a busy day at work to get what I needed. Disappointed they can’t even update their times online especially during such a busy time of the year. Just as I was leaving more people arrived to visit and I told them it was shut. Update your times!!!!

Nice well laid out and stocked shop with all the essential pet items you need. It’s also nice that dogs are welcomed inside the shop instead of having to leave the outside.
Not the biggest Pets at Home I have been in, but certainly one of the friendliest. The staff are approachable and extremely helpful, there is parking directly outside the shop and at the side of the block of shops. Will definitely go in there again.
