Staff are very helpful and it doesn’t feel like they’re trying to upsell you anything you don’t actually need. Don’t know what her name is but the girl with pink hair was particularly helpful when I was purchasing my beta fish Milo

Disappointed. Staff wasn’t helpful. I came to get fish I like, but wasn’t helped properly. I was showing her which fish I wanted but she didn’t.This is a hobby—I expect to choose what I pay for.

We often shop for our cat food here, and it is good, but today was the first time we attended Pet Pals! Laura, who introduced us to most amazing guinea pigs Ozzi and Witas, was very knowledgeable, patient with kids and so loving with her furry friends. The kids had a fantastic time, fed the guys three weeks worth of food, and gave them lots of cuddles! They also got to feed the fishes in the end. Laura is such a star human being!

I had an excellent experience at Pets at Home Selly Oak thanks to Talley. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about helping me find exactly what I needed. She took the time to answer my questions, offered great advice, and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Fantastic customer service – thank you, Talley!

I absolutely love this pet shop. The staff are always so friendly and helpful, and they really care about the animals. They have a great selection of products, and everything is always good quality. My dog Lucy always gets so excited when we visit. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for her food and treats. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately the staff is always snappy and rude in this store. But today was the worst experience. We had to get some specific cat food today and I asked if a certain brand is better quality than what we usually buy which was met with a " I dunno". To my question what brand food is eligible for a voucher I had the staff member sucked his teeth rolled his eyes and said " oh my god" and when I moved to slow ( I am disabled!) He kept rushing me and rolling his eyes. I felt terrible! I usually spend a lot of money in this store as I have 3 cats with alot of health issues. But today was definitely the last time I went to this store! It feels like I as a costumer am a burden to the staff and the staff doesn't like working there or even helping anyone!

Fabulous store, lots of choice for your ets from little rabbits to veterinarian services and grooming spot too. However the jung and very capable staff are not very much to help carry heavy bags of dog food, cat food ect. The problem I had they hadn't even offered to help just watch me struggle through out the shop to the till. It wasn't a big problem and maybe it's not their job but considering how much money we all spend for our pets it would be nice to to give a little extra to someone who maybe can't or don't have the physical strength to do so. Apart from that they are excellent.
