This review is long overdue so my apologies to the amazing team and manager here! I had 15 people for my birthday on the bottomless tapas deal earlier this year. The service was great for such a large group of people and the food came out perfectly, it was yummy, hot and they kept the flow going so well! They made it very special and I am greatly appreciative (sorry it’s late)

Always good fun.

MK was an amazing server, very attentive and on the ball both times my friend and I visited the Brindley Place location. Bookings for bottomless tapas are required 3hours in advance for Brindley Place and 4hrs at the Temple Street location which meant we may have to return the following day. Fortunately, the website had availability for the same day allowing us to dine and have a great time.
MK recommended the new cheese bread, Pao de queijo, on the tapas menu, it did not disappoint, we loved it (ordered twice). The quesadillas, wings, king prawns, corn on the cob and popcorn squid were tasty. The Mac and cheese will be skipped next time for sure.

We went to Las Iguanas Brindley Place for lunch and we ordered Bahian Katsu Curry and Chicken Enchiladas along with 2 mocktails. The dishes are very delicious, interesting and harmonious, we ordered 1 more nachos order and we are too full to finish them. (only £ 10 for lunch deal – amazing price for good food)
Thanks to Leonardo for serving us very enthusiastically and thoughtfully, we feel very comfortable to have meals here!
I will come back next time

We had a fab time for a bottomless brunch. We all had an upgrade for food which was delicious and plentiful! I couldn’t finish mine! The cocktails were amazing and free flowing. Not once did we have to call the wait staff over, they were very attentive and were checking in on us to make sure we had everything we wanted. Will definitely be returning!!

For a chain restaurant, food is actually good here – surprised by the menu options. Lovely curry lunch deal for a weekday! Service was super quick but think it was only me and my friend at the place so very quiet atmosphere. This is more busy in the evening when people are making use of the well priced cocktails! Good service and friendly staff!

We went for a bottomless brunch and as we really enjoyed it the last time unfortunately the drinks were taking at least half an hour to make between each round i said to the manger and she was quite sarcastic with me then we got our food my chicken was completely raw and when i spoke to the manager again she told me it was the marinade and i said i know the difference between cooked meat and non cooked meat she said to me that the kitchen probe all of the food and all of our food was cold as well as she took another raw burger off our table and gave it back with her hair in the chips which at this point i was not happy as the manager didnt really seem to care about the situation and turned around and said she cant please us and said she was not gonna serve us anymore awful place i would not recommend the place lost a lot of money on out booking of 14 bottomless brunches

I just had the most delicious dinner today. I had chicken tagliatelle with cream sauce mixed with blue cheese and paired it with a glass of prosecco rosè and it was just so perfect. Kudos to the chef. The food is great but what made my experience here excellent was the outstanding service of their staff, Soha and Abhi. From the moment I stepped in, they have just been so accommodating and welcoming. They made sure that I was well taken cared of and was always willing to help. They’re both superstars!
Highly recommended this place!

Cristina was amazing and helped us choose our starters which were to die for! She was so sweet and not overly invasive but always made sure we were seen too. We love this place as it’s got such a friendly relaxed vibe with top quality food and service but Cristina went above and beyond for us. It was our 10 year anniversary and I even won a bottomless meal on a scratch gifted !

Went for dinner and drinks with a friend on a bank holiday Monday as part of the Birmingham Food Festival. Received a warm welcome. The options on the menu were all tempting, presentation of food was beautiful. Recommend the pork belly, a generous portion cooked to crispy perfection. My friends steak looked equally as appetising, medium rare cooked perfectly.
The show stopper for us was the homemade coffee ice cream that was served with the manchego cheesecake, amazing.
This was the perfect setting for a much needed catch up for two friends. Massive thank you to our servers, Dani and Soha.

So, I owe my wife 2 anniversary meals at a posh or fine dining establishment and finally after being recommended by my youngest brother we thought we’d try this Argentinian restaurant. We were pleased to find parking on the premises at the front and they have space at the back too.
We were greeted by a very friendly waiter who offered us any seat we wanted as we visited at the quiet lunch period as I had the day off from work too. There were a few other customers but it was nice to have a whole section to ourselves.
After taking our seats – the waiter gave us the menu which also had a nice halal section and we were assured that the meat was cooked on a separate section to other meats. We went with the waiters recommendations on our main meals and we were very pleased with what we went for. We didn’t opt for any starters that day as the desserts sounded very appetising.
My wife also went for a mocktails called Bonita which was refreshing and flavourful but a tad too much ice and I just went for a pint of Pepsi.
And once the dessert came to the table brought by the chef, it tasted as well as it looked.
Pricing of the food wasn’t too bad taking location and type of establishment into consideration – and even though I’m not a fan of discretionary service charges – the staff definitely deserved it today . The atmosphere and deco was also refreshing yet ambient.

Tortilla Birmingham Grand Central offers a quick and tasty lunch option. The staff are generally friendly and efficient, ensuring a relatively speedy experience even during peak times. They provide a good range of fillings and toppings, allowing for a degree of customization to suit individual preferences. A fresh preparation of ingredients is consistently noticeable, contributing to an enjoyable meal.
The layout promotes a streamlined ordering process, similar to a familiar fast-casual chain. The option to add extras, like guacamole, provides an opportunity for those seeking to enhance their meal. The space is well-maintained and offers a comfortable environment to enjoy a satisfying burrito or bowl. The whole process is quite straightforward and accessible.

Customer Reviews
A solid experience overall. I really appreciate them using bowls for eat-in meals to reduce waste whilst some still use disposable packaging regardless. Shame they provided me with a disposable wooden spoon though. I opted for the large bowl meal with chicken and virtually all the free toppings. With a drink costing £2.20 alone, the £3 upgrade to a meal which includes a drink and bag of tortilla chips, turned out to be great value. The tortilla chips naturally paired incredibly well with the rice bowl, not only providing a much needed texture addition, but also serving as a great vessel for the naked burrito. Unfortunately the seating layout was very poor and needs work. Also we couldn’t see any bins and we had to leave our rubbish on our tables, as did everyone else. As we left we noticed the majority of the tables had rubbish on them, so either they need to add a bin or the workers need to clear up the space more often. Lastly the student discount they offer is always much appreciated.

The layout was like Subway where the team passed your meal down and added all the different toppings etc. Up selling to start with, but the server was fine and did not push when we just opted for medium.
The service felt fast with multiple options and extras; e.g. guacamole for £1.30, but the servers were fine and didn’t hassle us when we asked questions or declined paying any extra.
The beans looked like they had been sat for a long time, tide mark around the container, but tasted fine. I had a burrito and the main content is rice, with a small scoop of your chosen main. Cheese and various salsas as well as beans were included. No additional salad, so pretty traditional. You could pay extra for sour cream and guacamole. A small tub, slightly larger than a McDonald’s self serve sauce pot was the size. The guacamole tasted good with no brown bits to it and we saw the team making it fresh.
Tables were small with small chairs which had low backs for some reason. Bench and banqueting seating was also available.
Wooden forks were available. I also think metal knives were available, but they looked dirty so I did not bother with those.
The three tacos were very small, so ideal for a light snack. Add fries or other extras if you are after more of a lunch.

The food here is great. I had the Christmas quesadilla which was really tasty with a mild dipping sauce.
The service was friendly and fast.
Only issue is the seating area is poorly maintained. The table I sat at had a broken chilli bottle that poured all over the table.
Given that it was now dry and sticky it was pretty obvious nobody has come past to clean it in at least a few hours.
Overall good food but perhaps they need to focus on keeping the area cleaner.

I’m a big Tortilla fan and often visit the chain when I’m out. I recently visited the New Street branch and the team member Angie was so helpful. It was my first time redeeming a free burrito and she talked me through all my options and gave great recommendations! I’ll definitely be visiting this branch again!

Feeling absolutely robbed and scammed out of my money after this visit, will be the last time i do as standards are not what they used to be which is a shame. Prices have increased which is understandable but to reduce the food customers get by a significant amount is not justifiable. I used to always order a large chicken quesadilla which used to come with a bag of tortilla chips, salsa dip and sour cream on the side. However, the quesadilla now is not a quesadilla, it used to be made and cut into 4 slices but now they make it like a burrito and slice it in half. I was about to walk away whilst the staff were making it as i was appalled at the little filling they were putting into it. It now also just comes with the pot of salsa dip, no sour cream or tortilla chips, you have to pay extra for that. I used to be absolutely full from how the quesadilla that used to be made but this time i was left feeling hungry and disappointed, there were parts of the wrap that didn’t have any filling in it whatsoever. Not worth the price paid and won’t be returning.

The short ribs were very tender and very nicely seasoned. The potato taquitos were really good. The “El Barrio” margarita was excellent! The bartenders were nice and answered all our questions, as we were first timers. Our server kept a smile on his face and was super nice. Can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I drove to Birmingham from Atlanta to see Leon Bridges play at the new Coca Cola Amphitheater.. We had an Air B&B guest that is from the area and said this place was in my wheelhouse.
We walked up and it had a good crowd already with a few couples waiting for tables.. We opted for the community seating table next to another couple going to the show. We were just inside to the left in a little area that was perfect..
We had the queso with the peppers and chorizo added to start and then moved on to the asada steak with a potato cake made with hatch chilies. My wife had the green chili enchiladas and some charro beans.
Our waitress was great.. her recommendations were exactly what we were looking at and that made it easy. She was very attentive

Very lovely place with good prices. People were eating there midday on a weekday, which is always a good sign to me. Pepeto soup was light, delicious, unique, and filling. Plantain chips were a little oily tasting but still good.

Food and service was great. The atmosphere is nice, but a bit noisy due to the openness of the restaurant. The only negative I have about the food is the small portion size. And you need to order salsa as none is brought to the table automatically as in many restaurants with Mexican inspired cuisine. The bar is inviting and they also have daily specials that sound delicious.

To start, parking is very hard to find (unless you pay) but location is great. Went on a Friday night, took us right in. However we were not expecting to share a table. It was a bit noisy and crowded in there, felt claustrophobic. Staff was nice, decent price for food, clean environment. Food was just okay. We both agreed it’s nothing special but we did enjoy our time. (We had cheese dip, beer, bacon quesadilla, and steak tacos)

We met family for lunch. There is going to be a wait but it is well worth it. I had the salad with sautéed shrimp, what ever they dressing they used is delicious. Other meals were quesadillas, and the meatloaf. Started out with queso and chips and margaritas, fantastic.

Loved everything. The food was delicious. My family is vegetarian, and they had a lot of veggie choices. The spicy margaritas were to die for.

Had an amazing experience at Perios Brindleyplace! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome — super friendly and attentive throughout. The food was absolutely delicious, full of bold flavours and cooked to perfection. Every bite was packed with taste, and the service was just as impressive as the food. If you’re in Birmingham and want great vibes, top-tier service, and mouth-watering food, this place is a must-visit!

Great food at Perios, particularly the Steak Fajitas which were next level. Service was unfortunately quite slow, but to be fair it was very busy for a weekday.
We got 50% off our food by booking with FirstTable, so amazing value for the quality of the food.

Visited due to the reviews.
Fantastic place with great food and service.
Our waitress was super friendly, bubbly and knowledgeable (long dark wavy hair).
I had the nachos to start and chicken fajitas for main and they were superb (with plenty of chicken).
All others in the group loved their food too with a mixture of choices.

We booked in here for a pre show meal. We had high hopes but honestly the food was average. my burrito has crunchy peppers and onions in (I know I should have read the menu better l, but that combo in a burrito is weird!). Everyone else said their food was pretty average. Service was pretty slow and trying to get someone to get us the bill was painful. I had high hopes but this place missed the mark unfortunately.

Perios is an absolute gem in Brindley Place! We were delighted to find out that everything on the menu is halal, and they offer a fantastic selection of mocktails, making it a great spot for non-alcoholic options.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and gave us plenty of time to check the menu. Anytime we needed help deciding or understanding a dish, they were more than happy to assist. We ordered the fajitas and nachos, both of which were absolutely delicious. When we were indecisive about which dip to choose (since you’re only allowed one), the staff member went above and beyond—she generously gave us two and even added a third to help us decide. That thoughtful gesture really stood out!
The mocktails were also amazing, refreshing, and full of flavor. On top of the great food and drinks, the restaurant’s interior is beautifully designed, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Overall, Prio’s offers outstanding food, excellent service, and a fantastic dining experience. I will definitely be returning—highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Absolutely banging! We loved everything we tried, especially the Birria Tacos. The beef and the sauce that came with it was 10/10! We will definitely be back. Customer service was also exceptionally good.

I recently visited Don Tacos on Ladypool Road, and overall, it was an average experience. The customer service was good—the staff were friendly and attentive, which was a plus.
As for the food, I tried the soft tacos, which were okay, but the beef tacos were definitely better than the chicken. The highlight of the meal was the Mexican drink, which was refreshing and flavorful. However, the prices were quite high for what was offered, which was a bit disappointing.
On the bright side, the restaurant is family-friendly and a good option if you’re looking for halal Mexican food. While I wouldn’t rush back, it’s worth trying at least once.

Don Taco’s has done us proud tonight. We work in Authentic Mexicans and we know how the food should be. I have to mention the food was fabulous. A staff member called Shailey ran food and floor. The beef brisket in the Taco’s and burrito was outstanding a full of flavour. The way Shailey cooked the food tonight was marvelous. Everything was too our standard including the tortilla chips and qucamole. The food has different spices to your preference. I’m very impressed by this Mexican on Curry Mile and the service. A special thankyou to Shailey.

Brilliant service, absolutely amazing food really gave it that homely vibe. The best tacos I’ve had, furthermore the best customer service I’ve received around the area.
Manager was polite, professional and personally took the order himself.
Food was delivered in exceptional timing, flavours were amazing, tacos were crispy, quesadillas were full of flavours also.
Would I recommend to anyone else? Yes definitely. Best food in Birmingham (in my opinion)

Customer Reviews
Fantastic experience for a celebration meal. Both Erika and Giannis were brilliant on the day. A clean and immaculately presented establishment, you could see the decor was of excellent quality too. We went for a meal at 12:30 and the place was very quiet as we were the only guests there (I assume they are busier during the evenings and weekends). Food was delicious, from the starters to the mains and the drinks were great too.

The Mayan is an absolutely beautiful restaurant. Our party of 6 (plus one baby) were all visiting for the first time and we all eat out regularly. Without exception, each of us were dazzled by the food quality. One declared his ribeye to be the best he’d had in his life so far. All the dishes taste every bit as good as they look, colourful, imaginative and flavoursome.
Particular thanks to our server Prachi, who has the ideal combination of attentive professionalism and great people skills. She was brilliant, a credit to The Mayan.

With its gorgeous Mayan-inspired interiors, The Mayan delivers on aesthetics just as much as it does on flavour!
The menu showcases the diverse flavours that define Mexican cuisine. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. The Brochetas De Pollo (chicken skewers) is a must try!
The menu offers plenty of variety including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and Halal options. The staff are friendly and attentive.
While The Mayan is on the pricey side, It’s definitely worth visiting for special occasions or date night ✨

Being Latin myself the Latin cuisine here is fantastic. We ordered a chicken and one beef empanadas as starters followed by steaks with sides of fries for our main. Everything was cooked to absolute perfection, no faults and no improvements here at all. For our desserts we chose the churros and cheesecake, I believe they make their gelato at home which cannot be missed if you come here. The restaurant is also beautiful. It is a little on the pricier side (all of this came to £180 with service charge) but extremely worth it

An unforgettable experience. Visited The Mayan for my fiancé’s birthday and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The service was absolutely top-tier – friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel special. Honestly some of the best food I’ve ever had. Every dish was packed with flavour and beautifully presented – you can really tell there’s passion behind the menu.
The restaurant itself is stunning. The design and decor are unique and stylish, with just the right lighting to create a warm, intimate atmosphere without feeling too dark. It really adds to the overall vibe and made the evening feel that much more special.
Highly recommend The Mayan for a memorable night out – we’ll definitely be back!

Tortilla Birmingham Victoria Square offers a generally pleasant experience for a quick and tasty meal. The atmosphere is quite lively and the food is consistently well-prepared, with a good selection of fillings and options for customization. Their burritos and tacos are a popular choice, and the staff are often seen working hard to provide prompt service.
While it’s a great place for a satisfying lunch or dinner, be mindful of pricing as add-ons can quickly increase the final cost. The establishment prides itself on fresh ingredients, and it shows in the quality of the final product. Ultimately, it’s a solid choice for a casual dining experience.

Rude staff, asked for my uber collection order, instead of them serving me, started looking at each other and laughing, then to be served with a sloppy tortilla that has food like vomite inside. They deserve 0 stars, 1 is too much or them

RIP OFF – Looking at the board you think you’re getting a burrito bowl for £7.80 – then you find out it’s just rice and beans. You have to pay extra for meat and guacamole. Bowl wasn’t even full – severely disappointed especially when the tag line says “burritos bigger than your head”- would not recommend

This was a spontaneous visit as we passed on our way to a concert. The staff were friendly and explained how to order. It was reasonably priced and tasted great. We sat on one of maybe 6 tables so not huge inside but most people were eating out in the sun. They do corona and frozen margarita drinks (the cocktail was pretty strong and tasted good) as well as soft drinks. Overall, a very pleasant experience and would go again.
