I took my father here in a small emergency and she was able to do a quick same day appointment and in one of the quickest cleaning appointments I’ve ever seen, managed to do the best cleaning job I’ve ever seen. She is exceptional in her work and her character, and that’s not mentioning that it’s only £60 for both ears (£40 for 1).

It’s been a year since I had my ears professionally cleaned at this clinic, and it was absolutely worth the money! Before that, I used to have a lot of wax buildup, but ever since the cleaning, there’s been way less when I clean my ears at home. Amazing! Came out the next day to do ear wax removal for my elderly father at his home. Previously at the doctor’s and other places he had been to they was unable to remove all the blockage. He was given hearing aids but they never felt quite right until today. They removed everything!! Very experienced, professional and took time to make sure everything was removed. Don’t waste your time and money anywhere else, as not all places have the equipment needed to complete the process. My Dad feels like a new man. I have been going Specsavers for years now and its always smooth sailing, I went in had my initial test and then the main eye test all within 35 mins.

Only issue for me was I have to come back a week later for my glasses to be made because the frames are not in stock.

They have many staff available if you need any questions answering and there are plenty of seating available if you need to sit down and wait (it can get busy sometimes)

Easily one of the best opticians out there.

I have been a loyal customer of Specsavers for over 14 years and have consistently received excellent customer service.

Over the years, both my children and I have been well looked after, and our appointments have always been handled with professionalism and care, with minimal disruption to our schedules.

However, I did experience a disappointing moment on our previous visit. When collecting my son’s prescription from the ground floor reception, we felt ignored and unacknowledged by the staff present.

In particular, the optician who assisted us did not communicate clearly, and when I raised my concern, she failed to acknowledge it or offer any reassurance.

Had a great experience at Specsavers on New Street. The staff were friendly, professional, and really took the time to explain everything clearly. The eye test was thorough, and I felt looked after from start to finish. Would definitely recommend this branch for great service and care. Thank you guys

My favourite opticians by a country mile. I have frequented this branch and it’s much smaller predecessor that was located on Corporation Street in 2000. Some of the original staff are still here. I like the integrity of the company and the staff are generally fantastic. I used to go to their only real rival that begins with a B. However I didn’t like their offerings nor their price hikes in the late 90’s. I have had a few issues during this tenure however these have been amicable resolved and this is, indeed, expected during a two decade period. I have enjoyed visiting this branch and l have had no hesitation in handing over my money as l felt it was beneficial to me and my eye health. They have an extensive range of glasses and also contact lenses. Their eye tests are honest and thorough. I would wholeheartedly recommend this HUGE branch that is in what used to be OLYMPUS sports back in the early to mid 90’s. On that note, over and out.

I called in on Wednesday to ask for my prescription number and me and the person on the phone agreed to have them be send on email and he said it should arrive in the next 5 minutes. About an hour have passed, nothing came through, so I called again just to be told by a lady telling me that “that’s a stretch” as it’s not possible to have it in 5 minutes as it need to go through a process in order to be sent to me so it’ll take 48 hours, she also sound annoyed that I was asking about it when I don’t know how long the process was and how would I know it’s 48 hours and not 5 minutes like I’ve been told. So it is now Sunday, about 96 hours/4 days and I’m still waiting this long just to have my prescription numbers so I think if anything is a stretch, it’s THIS. Very bad customer service here.

Been here a few times, good service, wide variety of frames. However my last visit (15/08/25) was a bit disappointing. I made an appointment over the phone for 9am, once I got there, they told me, our appointment was at 9.35am. We interacted with 5 workers and 3 of them where so cranky if not even rude, we were holding ourselves back from leaving the store. However once the optician showed up for the official eye test, we were glad we stayed. She was friendly and polite.

I have had 3 sessions of prp and can tell a massive differnce already cant wait for other treatments. Shasta is a very down to earth person she makes u feel so calm and ease during your treatment. Extra bonus, diet plan for overall good health well being!!! I would defintly recommend shasta for ur treatments u will defintly not be dissapointed!!!

This company was recommended to me by my Boots audiologist (he couldn’t do a hearing test due to wax in left ear). Got a home visit on Sunday afternoon. Procedure was quick, easy and painless, everything was explained fully. Would happily use again if necessary.

Struggled with my hearing due to clogged ear wax, neither my doctor nor local walk in clinic were able to help as their services are limited. Excellent service! Managed to get an evening appointment at short notice, which is great when it’s so difficult to find a clinic anywhere that has appointments outside of Mon-Fri 9-5. I’d been in quite a bit of pain and he was careful not to push my pain limits. Absolute relief to have my hearing back and to be pain-free. Highly recommend.

After many months of ear problems I found this ear clinic on Google. The speed of response to my queries were answered within minutes of my sending a message. Once I had explained my problems I was seen within the hour within my own house. The advice I was given after my examination was fantastic and detailed so I understood what to do next. I booked to get my grandmothers ears cleaned as she suffered from severe tinnitus pains. He responded very quickly and had my booking confirmed immediately. Miriam the audiologist is the sweet person I’ve ever met. She was patient with me and was very kind to me. And reassured me of my new journey with my hearing aids and supportive when I was overwhelmed. NHS please look after people like her, she makes us disabled people feel taken care of.

Had the displeasure of calling this place today , it was an awful experience .The first call the lady was overbearing and shouting down the phone as if presumed I am deaf. But then claimed SHE couldn’t hear me …time to check your hearing I think before you tell others they can’t be heard. Tried calling them again a few moments later and this time an impatient obnoxious tone was barking at me. It baffles me how NHS staff talk so impolitely to public yet claim the zero tolerance card if people talk to them the way they do to us. Who addresses them about their manners and conduct towards the public. . Anyhow I hope I do not have to call them again. I was only wanting to check up on my mother’s hearing aid but didn’t even get past the gate as the rottweiler attitude was offensive.

The people at the hospital were very friendly and professional. They explained all questions I asked and gave me advice to help put me at ease. My waiting time for very small although I was given a time. There are public toilets in that area. The hospital is on the local bus route on the Dudley road. There is a large car park and seats out side to sit. The hospital got easy accesses for those with a disability. At the main part of the hospital there are shops or cafes you can buy refreshments.

Excellent services I have received from the doctor. The black gentleman (doctor) was very caring and knowledgeable and was very kind to me while examining.

But waiting time was too long even though I had arrived at that place at 3:30 pm where my appointment time was at 3:45 pm. But the time I entered into the doctor’s office it was 4:35 pm.

Don’t want to complain about it as I can feel the importance of each patient and everyone should be examined with great care even though it might take extra time.

The building is old and looks like its made out of portacabins. It looks like some kind of torture chamber and it has a very bleak and dull atmosphere. Certainly no place for children, though they have tried to make the childrens waiting area nice. I hear they arent moving to the new Mid Met when it opens either… 2 sparkly new facilities very very close and hearing services gets left here? why?

Can be a long wait if many people attending, batteries exchanged very quickly. Some staff bit short knowledge of latest aids and setting up hearing aid.

The service I get from Veritas Hearing is first class – each appointment is usually an hour and extremely thorough. My consultant Robina is very professional and helpful – I look forward to her visits – my Phonak aids are excellent and life has been much improved since getting them

My new hearing aids are working well and Robina has done an excellent job of introducing them to me: they have already made a big change to my life.

I wanted to say after last appointment, I’m loving the sound and the quality of the hearing. She was scared to adjust the hearing aid, feedback, I had no issue with feedback. I like what she done with background sound how it kicks in and has made speech clearer in noisy environment. I feel like I don’t want to take them off. It sounds more natural to me now. I haven’t used roger devices since last appointment. I would highly recommend them.
