Absolutely 100% recommend especially if looking for a transfer with child car seats!! – we had a drop off and pick up from the airport with Tariq, he was brilliant – very prompt each time and kept us updated when we landed. Smooth and careful driving. We had two young children – both car seats were immaculate and there were also sun shades and personal air-con – both kids fell asleep straight away, that’s testament!

Honestly incredible! After the AA delayed my pickup slot hour after hour totalling 4+ hours later I gave these guys a call at 12:30am and within half an hour they were here and I was home 10 minutes after, my only regret is that I didn’t call them sooner! Today at 2pm my car decided to break down, anyway we found Abz car recovery in google search, I called them they was here in 20 min, collected my car took it to their stechford b33 branch, asked me a couple questions about what happened to the car. They found the problem, ordered the parts, fixed the car, I collected my car just before 7pm sameday. Just want to say thank you to Abz and his mechanic, you saved me from difficulties. Thank you, Allah swt bless you guys. You deserve more then 5 stars. Very friendly, very professional, very understanding and the mechanic is definitely a perfectionist, he wanted to fix my other old issues that I have in my car. Buses move on time which is great.
There is free WiFi at the station.
Customer toilets are clean to a good standard and staff are around to see to it.
Not a lot of choices of food choices to grab inside the station.
A few times I have witnessed some drivers, ask only “Black” women passengers, to open their bags to see what as they suspect it’s food can be very embarrassing as they feel it is too heavy to be the items they tell the driver.
Avoidable delays on the bus from Birmingham to Sheffield due to the driver clearly not doing his bus checks before setting off, we later realised that the wipers were faulty as it began to rain during the journey. This delay made me miss the last train for 23:30 with a ticket bought on app at £2.80 from Sheffield to Mexborough. I did not mind losing that but for it to cost me £32 on Uber was upsetting.
The arrival time at Sheffield was to be 22:20, but we arrived after 23:30
on Sunday 20th July 2025.

The passenger gets to sit back and relax, but you, my friend, are about to embark on a journey that is less a drive and more a scavenger hunt through a city that seems to be in a perpetual state of “Sorry, we’re closed for renovations.”
Your navigation system will, of course, tell you to go to a road that no longer exists. A friendly voice will announce, “Turn right at the roundabout,” but the roundabout has been replaced by a large, angry-looking digger and a sign that reads, “Diversion.” You’ll find yourself in a dizzying ballet of one-way streets, each one a trap designed to funnel you away from your goal.
When you finally get within a two-mile radius, the real fun begins. You’re now a contestant on a game show called “Guess the Pedestrian Crossing.” Everywhere you look, there’s a barrier, a temporary fence, or a group of people standing in the middle of the road looking as lost as you feel. Parking? What’s that? You’re not looking for parking; you’re looking for a small, desperate window of opportunity to pull over for 30 seconds without being immediately fined or towed.
The drop-off point itself is a masterclass in efficiency. You pull up alongside a curb that seems to have been designed by a minimalist artist, say your goodbyes in a frantic rush, and then, with a heavy sigh of relief, you escape. The passenger is off to their destination, but your journey is far from over. You’re now on the other side of the road, facing a new set of roadworks and a profound understanding of why they call it the “concrete jungle.”

I recently took a coach from Birmingham Coach Station (Digbeth) to London Heathrow, and the experience was smooth overall. The coach departed on time, and the seats were comfortable with decent legroom, there were charging ports at most seats. Advised to book through online and each before 10 minutes departure.
This offering connections to destinations throughout Great Britain.
Most of the facilities are offering like Automated ticket machine, Waiting areas with seating, On-site eatery and coffee shop, Toilet facilities, Charging points and Wi-Fi service.
Definitely one of the best choices traveling to airports and interconnected cities.

I was 45 minutes late, with no updates sent from the taxi company and called them twice without them being able to confirm the car arrival time. This was never the case when it was A2B so it must now have worse management. I will never use this company again and you shouldn’t either.

The worst app is this. 15 days back I was in Birmingham I book through them and waiting for them to send the car but the car dis not arrive for 1:20 minutes.
Then one driver receive the ride and asking for extra money because he told me that the ride is far way. Today again I book with them the drivers received th ride and cancelled the ride. I ask them why you are doing this the same answer that the place is very far from hear thats why.
I call the help line she close and cut the call on my face and say no this and that. The worst part is they take the money and did not send it back to the account.
This is the last time I was booking with this app. No more.

Pre booked a taxi from the airport and all I can say is stay well clear from this company for this reason they use two systems on for picking up passengers and go with the highest paying customer, absolutely disgusted in the way we got treated last night The manager at Shrewsbury called Elliot had me on loud speaker to his colleagues laughing at the fact I was making a compliant about his drivers. Spots fill up very quick, and app doesn’t tell you how full it is which is a shame. If you get a spot, the stairs are okay, but very dirty. Pee smell and trash.

Ideal place to park if working in or around the Snow Hill station area. Recently bays have been painted giving it a refreshed look. The stairwells and other areas could do with similar treatment.
Plenty of spaces at 7am even on a week day, this may change as Covid rules relaxed. Car park open every day inc Christmas Day. But is charged daily bar Christmas Day itself. Car park does get shut at night so if you miss the cut off time you can’t retrieve your vehicle. So make a note on your phone and set a reminder.
Can pay by coins or using the phone number. Used the number twice now and all done smoothly. After first time the automated system remembers your details ( if you allow it ) and phone number so already knows your reg Mark. Parking fees are reasonable considering where you are, try getting the same deal in London or Manchester?! Some space given over to electric vehicles with charging points. And a flat rate of £1 for motorcycle parking. There is CCTV but I’d still use a good chain and disc lock for your bike and keep your valuables hidden!

I like this small traditional station which has just a few platforms. I usually visit when taking the train from Marylebone, London to Birmingham. On this occasion I popped into one of two cafes for breakfast. You’ll find good coffee and pastries and sandwiches. There is also a newspaper and confectionary shop and loos on the platform. It’s also just a few minutes walk away from New St Station, the main railway, which is inside Grande Central and the tram stops.

Not good! Ordered a taxi after having a root canal operation at Bingham Dental Hospital . Waited for a hour and nothing showed up. I called and they just kept on saying it’s on the way but it never arrived.
Due to this taxi company I missed my train back to Nottingham.

Disappointing and Unreliable Service

I had a terrible experience with this taxi company. I called at 7:35 AM (27/02/25) to arrange a pickup for 8:05 AM on the same day. However, when 8:05 arrived, the driver was nowhere to be seen. When I called to check, I was casually informed that no driver was available to do the pickup.

Why was this not communicated to me beforehand? Had I known, I could have made other arrangements instead of being left stranded at the last minute. To make matters worse, the staff was rude and unhelpful, showing no concern for the inconvenience they caused.

Because of this company’s poor service, I was extremely late for my appointment and had to scramble to book another taxi with a different company. Completely unprofessional and unreliable—I will never use their service again!

Can’t recommend Birmingham Taxis highly enough. What a professional service. Didn’t speak to anyone, all communication was through email which was so efficient. We used their service for a festival in Birmingham on both a Saturday & Sunday (2 trips each day). Their service so punctual and our driver – Arshid Mahroof – was exceptional. He was so accommodating, courteous and pleasant to deal with. Definitely 10/10

Used Birmingham Taxis Easter Sunday to get to and from the Utilita Arena.
Nice clean car, driver was professional. I probably made him chat more than he might have liked but he was a really nice guy.
Ended up with the same driver for the return journey, which was cool because we’d had a chat about the pick-up at Utilita at the end of the gig. I knew traffic would be awful.
He told me roughly where the best place for pick-up was and as we received info from Birmingham Taxis, car and driver details etc, I called him as we left Utilita and arranged pick-up on the go.
An excellent service all round. Will definitely use again.

Rude unhelpful staff. We booked a week in advance. They lost our booking and when we rang up, the had the gall to blame us. When we complainted, they hung up. Staff are badly in need of customer service training. When we asked to speak to a manager, none were around. We would give them -10 stars if we could. Avoid like the plague

Me and my daughter used the big green coach yesterday, we travelled to London to see Stray kids and would highly recommended them to all my family and friends. Coach from Birmingham to Bearded Theory and return. Well, where on earth do I begin?? No worries getting to the festival but the return was horrific. Now 1st things 1st, Big Green Coach do not actually own any coaches. They sublet from other companies.
Anyone remember the ferry company without any ferries? Yep, red flag!
So we were meant to be picked up at 10am this morning (26/05/2025) from the site. By 9.30 most of us were ready and waiting. And then we waited, and waited a bit more. 10.55 still no coach but the 11am BGC for Leeds etc just pulled in… and so we started making calls to find out where on earth our coach was. We kept getting fobbed off with ‘they are 10 mins away’. So we took turns calling and trying to get any info at all. They couldn’t contact the driver, they couldn’t say when they had left base, just apologies and some very tired, cold and soggy festival weary people getting a little bit frustrated.
11.55 The coach finally arrives on site. Yayayayay! We load up, board and we are off! Still no explanation, just more apologies. After half an hour or so we noticed that we seemed to be doing a tour of the local villages. On tiny B roads. A few of us clocked that we were getting closer to catton park not further away. The coach Sat nav was going rogue. Some wonderful man managed to convince the driver that we were going in circles and ‘no, I don’t think Birmingham is down that dirt track!’
The driver reverses. Into a hedge and almost into a ditch. And that’s when the damage pictured occurred. Half an hour later we are finally on an A road going in the right direction.
Oh, and did I mention that the air-conditioning was on full blast! It was freezing. I was warmer on the Thursday night at BT when it went below 5°c. We begged the driver to turn it down, they didn’t know how to.
Finally pull up in Birmingham, again thanks to the excellent local knowledge of my fellow passengers, and I bounce off the coach wondering if I should do a Katy Perry and kiss the ground.
I wished the passengers going on to Bristol the very best of luck. I have a feeling they needed it. And as I walked over to New Street I looked back and saw the damage. Ahhh so that was why drivers kept honking at us!
Thank you to all of my lovely fellow passengers, I don’t think I would have made it without you.
Big Green Coach = Shocking! Absolutely terrible. Would definitely not recommend. 1/10 and they only get the 1 because at least the coach eventually turned up.
Unfortunately we don’t get a lot of choice with public transport to festivals so… Same again next year everyone??

Bus was exactly on time , comfortable seats, friendly drivers. Staff was very attentive , told us all the details -bus number and where to come back after the concert. It was very nice experience, I wouldn’t hesitate to use it again. It was much easier then going by public transport to the concert in different city.

This company offered special return trips from Aberdeen to Edinburgh during the recent oasis concerts held at Murrayfield stadium in August 25.
I thought the service was ideal as saved us many hassles such as driving there and back or staying overnight in an overpriced accommodation.
Trip to Edinburgh on the 12th of August was great, departed on time and we experienced a smooth ride all the way to our final destination: Murrayfield stadium.
Previous to the concert the company had sent an updating email regarding drop-off and pick-up point: Georgie Road, however, on arrival to the vicinity of the venue, the driver dropped us off along Corstorphine Road and was specific to say he was picking us up at the same stop or across the same road at the end of the concert. Departure time: 11:00 pm.
At the end of the show, me and my friend started walking towards the meeting point specified by the driver, and after two laps up and down of Corstorphine Road, and more dramatically close to 11:00 pm, the Big Green Coach bus was nowhere to be seen. By this time it was clear we had been left stranded.
We met some other people who had been left behind but felt the need to stay with a particular lady, who obviously had mobility issues and used a walking stick. This lady was about to have a panic attack or maybe she was in clear distress due to the recent physical effort to try and catch the bus.
Eventually, we realised we had to move on. We went to the bus station in a taxi, which was already closed, but a bus driver kindly gave us instructions on how to get back to Aberdeen at a cost of £55 each.
Perhaps it’ll be harsh to rate the company for the shambles, as it did provide a good service on our way to Edinburgh, but the driver should be held accountable for misleading service users to follow wrong instructions.
I have been in touch with the company, with only been acknowledged through social media. They said:

“Thanks for getting in touch, we’re sorry to hear that you didn’t get the coach back after the event.

Thankfully we had a number of passengers opting to use their return leg and were able to board their coaches after the event. For passengers that did experience some difficulty finding their coaches after the event, we had a team of representatives on site available to provide assistance, and our customer service team were on call and available to be contacted via telephone, email, and social media. This is stated on all e-tickets.

Had you attempted to get in touch with us, we would have been able to assist you in boarding the coach, provided directions, and hold the coach for you on your approach.

Once again, we’re sorry to hear that you weren’t able to board the return service, but hope to have you on board with us in the future!”

I am very sorry, but saying that a number of passengers “OPTED” to use the return leg to Aberdeen tells me that some other passengers could not find the bus and were forced to make different arrangements to get back home. My friend and I were actively asking other drivers and people holding signs and not a single one knew about the Big Green Coach. Anyways, it is all in the past now, but I felt I had to leave a review on the service.
And No, I would not recommend the company to friends or family, needless to say, I don’t see myself using their services again.

Only given 1 star because can’t leave 0. Booked for reading festival, coach didn’t turn up and after having to call the company numerous times, after two hours they sent a mini bus. Mini bus dropped us off in the wrong place which was over a mile away from the festival. We were an hour and 20 minutes late to the festival. Company won’t accept they didn’t provide the service we paid for and communication is slow and boring, them repeating the same rubbish over and over again. WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!

Take a ticket when you enter. Each floor follows a one-way system, but just be careful of how tight the two-way turns are at the ramps.

The car park took a bit of getting used to. It’s good to have that facility in that area. As the street warders there take their Job very seriously if you know what I mean.

However it is a bit expensive but for that part of town. Understandable. The bays are nicely marked. There are both stairs and elevators available. There is lots of disability parking on each floor.

They take both cash and card and also use the NFC by mobile devices. Be careful on the turn up and down on each floor because they are on the opposite side.

I had a close call until I took the time out to notice properly after calming down after being anxious about where to park. I was parked on the fourth floor and I believe there were a few more above.

A very reasonably priced car park. £10.90 for 24hours. And if you need the loo when you arrive during the day – Monday to Friday – the Millennium Point itself should be open and there are good facilities here such as toilets and a cafe.
