I texted Mose lat night 1:30 am when I had Burning smell coming from main fuse box he replied me early morning 7 o clock and visited my home 8:10 and fixed it charged me very very responsible price with a lot of good advise and safety! Really happy very polite and nice guy Mose !

A very professional service. Came out and did a site survey and quoted for the work, explaining exactly what would be done and when. On the day they were prompt and did a thorough job, testing throughout and with no hidden extras. Would have no hesitation recommending them.

Absolutely shocking and disgraceful!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
We were trying to replace a mirror in the bathroom and disconnected the wires coming from the wall and going to the internal light. After doing this the ceiling lights and extractor stopped working.
I called Mosey at MKUK Electrical to come and fix the problem, rather than try to find the fault on my own.
He arrived and then proceeded to spend an hour telling me that every piece of wiring in my apartment was sub-standard and needed replacing: fuses were incorrect, the circuit breakers were set up wrong, some wires had likely blown and needed to be completely re-done, the cables used for the ceiling lights were incorrect, there was a second ceiling in the bathroom which wasn’t standard (???).
I explained that the building was only 30 years old and I had been here for the last 20 so I knew all the electrics were original but he continued to waste the first HOUR telling me wrong and irrelevant information rather than try to fix the problem I had asked him to look at.
After the first hour (in which he had also done the classic time-wasting tricks of looking through his tool bag for minutes at a time, gone to his car for additional equipment and pretended not to have anything to mark the wires… until I gave him a pencil!) I asked him what his thoughts were. He continued to prattle on about unsafe wiring etc. so I told him in very blunt terms that he wasn’t here for that and I wanted to know why my lights had stopped working. For context, the first hour is charged at £85 and he hadn’t done anything useful at all!
He tried to placate me by saying the second hour was only £45 and he would ‘treat me right because he was a director of his company, not a contractor’ but he could see that I was getting angry so he finally started to look into the actual fault.
After another hour of useless fiddling he told me that my extractor fan was broken and needed to be cut off from the circuit to allow everything else to function. He did this and the lights came back on.
I paid him his £130 and then went on Ebay to order a new fan (£40).
After consulting the internet and doing some research of my own, it now turns out that the old extractor still works (I have got it running again by reconnecting the wires Mosey took out!) and the only thing that was required was to connect the exposed wires which had been running into the old mirror.
See the screenshots attached. If you can spot the minor change from one image to the next then you can see how small the actual fix was!
If Mosey had fixed the issue in 3 seconds (like I suspect he could have) then I would have happily paid him his £85 and given a five star review.
As it is, I cannot help but believe that he is a conman who was only interested in exploiting my lack of knowledge and would have happily re-wired my whole apartment if I had trusted him. Do not trust this greedy man, he will do everything he can to dawdle and prolong his time in your home to get as much money from you as possible. Do not believe his lies and if he starts talking about updating your unsafe wiring, ask him to leave. It’ll save you a lot of money!
In the end, he charged me £130 to tell me my extractor fan was broken… which it isn’t!!

EDIT:
After reading the response from Mose, it is saddening to see that he continues to state that the extractor fan was the issue. It is not and never was. I have reconnected the wires he removed and it works fine again. This has now been verified by another electrician so I have full confidence in saying that MKUK Electrical were never working in my best interest and lied to me about why the fault occurred.
There were exposed wires because we were in the process of replacing a mirror when the lights stopped working. The fuse box was not in an unsafe manner and I do not accept his estimation of my ‘unsafe’ environment. Again, this has been verified since.
Unfortunately, people like this are never able to look inwardly and accept when they have acted selfishly at the expense of others.
AVOID THIS COMPANY!!

We couldn’t recommend Adam more. We called him out because of a burning smell in our house – we suspected our bathroom fan was the issue. As it turned out, the smell was caused by a loose connection in our fuseboard which had started to burn through the plastic of our fuse box. Despite only being 4 days away from going away on holiday with a lot of jobs booked, Adam went out of his way to make our house safe, restore our power and reassure us. The job was done quicker than we could have hoped (despite us needing a whole new fuse box!) at a very reasonable price. He is brilliant at explaining everything that needs doing. We will be passing his details on to our friends who are about to move into their first home, and we would reccomend him to anyone else as well.

I initially contacted Adam via his business WhatsApp account, and within minutes he had replied offering me a slot the following morning! Unfortunately, I couldn’t accommodate that time and Adam made a point of fitting in around my schedule and visited later in the evening to assess what I wanted doing.
A week later I was booked in! A few days prior to Adam arriving, I had a slight hitch as other work was going to be carried out on the same day that he was due to arrive. Utterly superb. Nicholas and his team were tasked with helping us transform our outdoor space at home by providing electrics to our cabin and gazebo. Right from the outset Nicholas was the absolute best; really friendly and professional, with an extremely clear and reasonable quote, great communication and he even helped us to make choices about what lights, cables and junction boxes to pick to get the look of our space right. When it came to working on site; Nicholas and Rash were incredibly polite, efficient and a pleasure to have around. To say we are delighted with the results is an understatement-thanks to Techfix Electric we’ve got an outdoor cinema room and power to an outdoor cooking space all in the style we wanted with industrial style fittings such as black junction boxes and brushed chrome light fixtures. Nicholas was brilliant and had installed my EV charger pretty quickly. Service was excellent and everything was completed in good time and there were no issues. I would highly recommend this company as you won’t be disappointed and I was happy with the price I was offered.

Not particularly pleased with their service. Not all good, but also not all bad. I booked them in same week that I initially called them which was quicker than other electricians. However on the day they were going to do an electrical certificate for my house, they turned up an hour and a half late, no phone call or any warning. Nicolas, the electrician did apologise, after prompting. Then when they came to made the fixes required to pass the test, the electrician they sent forgot to bring some equipment, so they were gone for 2-3 hours in the middle of the day, while I was just sat there waiting. Again, no forewarning, that he was going to be gone for such a long time. This meant that they had to come back again the next day to finish off the fixes, wasting more of my time. Overall payed about £1000 to change the fusebox, and change a few lights and the electrical certificate – I wouldn’t call that great value for money, but also not sure if other electricians would have done it for much cheaper. And they spread the work over 3 days. Would have given 5* if they had got all the work done in 1 day and had been better communicators.

Really efficient and friendly service. Got our power back on after the fuse kept tripping late at night, hours before we were due to fly on holiday the following morning. Very stressful timing for obvious reasons but dealt with calmly and at a very affordable price.

Highly recommend! These guys are brilliant. They carried out all aspects of the job while improving the system as they went. I have a house built in the 80s and the wiring was in a horrible state that Shakeel was able to undo and renew for modularity, safety and extendability. They communicated the extent of work and options available for a better system in a very respectful and patient manner. I cannot express how thankful I am and hope you have the same experience too.

Needed two cameras fitted and two sockets that needed replacing. The guys that come to fit it was really good at what they do you can tell they are experienced. Track the source of the problem with the socket and managed to solve the issue. Very professional highly recommended. I will definitely be using their service again in the future.

They completed the work to a high standard and installed plug points, an LED strip light and an outdoor security light. They also installed a new plug socket in the house as well. John and his team installed some security lighting and cameras on the front drive outside my house. They did a great job, were really quick, friendly and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Highly recommend this company. I had an armoured cable installed to power my garage. The materials were ordered the same day and arrived at my house the following day. The chap came out on the weekend to install rather than wait till Monday. He used some of his own materials to complete the job, which I was not charged for. He was able to install the cable in a couple of hours. The cost was less than I had budgeted for.

Efficient service. The engineers arrived on time as promised, they were considerate to that I was working from home. They completed the installation in a timely manner and cleaned up after themselves. Additionally, they demonstrated how to use the appliance.
