I ordered a 117L indirect vented cylinder which got delivered in an awful condition, secondly it was missing the heating coil inside, the cylinder was clearly returned from a previous plumber and BES did not check…I’m now 2 days out of pocket waiting for a redelivery and the older lady on customer service was rude and abrupt… See photo of no flow and return coil and missing label that got delivered like that.
We ordered from BES online and the items were delivered the next day. We were informed by email of delivery time and they arrived on time. We are more than happy with the product and a great price.
So as a retired plumber , i order with BES from time to time, however this time they sent me about £800 worth of gas valves WHICH were NOT mine. After a few emails/phone calls, and me repacking , and driving to the post office I kindly sent them back to BES . What did BES do ? Naff all ! , not even a thank you for your honesty, help, time and labour and effort in returning our lost gas valves , and also the folk who paid and ordered them benifited too Shamfull I say, shamfull. PS in fact BES called me out as a "False review" Ive directed to this review. Cowboys.
Brilliant service by BES, I ordered some immersion thermostats at 8pm and they were with me the next day. Well done guys. By the way I used to use Electro Controls for my stats but from now on its BES.
Good service for what i paid for, came on time and i was kept informed along the way. But a bit disappointed with my purchase as it wasn't the standard usual size of about 100mm / 4". So had to make a few adjustments that added time to the job, as I was hoping it would be a straightforward replacement. I guess I should of thought of everything and not had taken it for granted that it would be the size they have been for years, and checked the specifications, as the iteams descriptions can be a bit sparse on the Website.
My item was booked in for a Sunday delivery with DPD and has not turned up. The tracking is showing it is still sat at the depot. It seems pointless to me giving the option of a Sunday delivery of the courier is not gonna deliver it
Called at 4:28pm today 24/6/2025 A women answered on option 3 via keypad selection was extremely rude then hung up on me! I was trying to ask information about product they sell, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, never have I had an experience like this. The person who answer needs better training unless this is just how they operate.
