It was worth to drive from NY down to Alabama just to get these plates.

I would’ve loved to actually look around but couldn’t for being followed by employees. It made me feel uncomfortable as I was the only customer in the store. I can only assume they were making sure I wasn’t shop lifting? If they have a frequent store issue with shoplifters they should invest in a security system to monitor at the desk. Very disappointed. What I did see was largely overpriced.

I bought some Harpers Weekly magazines from the 1860’s and I am beyond happy with them. They have a very nice collection of antiques in their store also. I would recommend shopping with them and watching for internet auctions. I would buy from them in a heartbeat

You cannot claim public metered parking spots for your business. Putting a sign on it that says “customer parking only towing enforced” does not make it your spot. If you want customer parking only, build a parking lot.

I love visiting this antique store! It’s always full of beautiful furniture, dish ware, and collectibles. The staff always seem very welcoming as well. I’ve purchased some stained glass from here as well as a pearl ring that I cherish. I’m sharing a few pictures of items I admired from my last visit.

BEWARE THINK VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE PURCHASING FROM HERE. I visited this shop a few weeks ago and saw a ring which I liked and later ordered over the phone because it had to be made smaller. I asked specifically if there were any faults at all and was told no. When it arrived I had a close look and the band is coming away from the claw (holding the stones) which is also slightly wonky. I sent an image to them showing the fault, they apologised and I was told to return it to be rectified. In the meantime, I felt something was not right so I took it to various other jewellers to get their opinion and all of them said that a fair price for the ring was approximately half of what I paid for it. I was told that it would be a very difficult and expensive job and almost impossible to repair. I was then very nervous about returning it through the post and as their opening times are a little erratic, I then tried contacting them again multiple times over several days WITH NO ANSWER AT ALL. I am now extremely angry as I have been well and truly ripped off!

I received a package of items that was not what I ordered!! I contacted Adamans and was told that my items would be shipped in 4 to 6 weeks, I have now asked for an update on said items and am now more or less being ignored, they keep sending me my old tracking details that just say item delivered!! I am awaiting another day, if i do not either receive a genuine email with new tracking information or at least an explanation, I will be asking for a full refund!! If not i will put full details of why I’m unhappy on this site!!

Visited with my daughter as she wanted a special ring for her 21st birthday. Thought we had exhausted all our options after visiting the other stores here until we came across Adamas.
The lady and gentleman (sorry can’t remember names) working there were so lovely and helpful and we found the most perfect vintage opal and diamond ring. Lovely to have found a family jeweller that sold such individual and unique pieces.
Thank you so much x

I hardly ever bother writing reviews but on this occasion its a MUST,ive travelled all over the UK visiting antique shops, fairs, car boots looking & searching for odd, interesting or unique items,BY FAR the first time i visited living the dream i was taken back with amazement, its like a scene from a disney film when someone goes into a store that has something magical about it plus a section that can only be described as having a theme of an old victorian mixed with willy wonka & the choclate factory feel to it with every childhood memories of the so many sweets that are very hard to find,,i salute the owner who has done a great job in selecting the items he has in the store as you’ll find for all ages and taste, hes also opened the shop next door and filled it with more unusual fascinating items.if anyone hasn’t visited i urge you to do so as ive got a feeling it will then become a regular habit!

Their website information is not accurate at all. Even though today the closing time was scheduled for 5 pm, they didn’t allow me to enter the shop at 3 pm. Firstly, I was told the shop was already closed, then that no longer welcome anyone without an appointment, and finally I was told that they no longer open to the public. I was literally kicked out and had the doors slammed in my face after driving over an hour to get there. Terrible attitude. Terrible experience.

I was in store today and I witnessed the man working on the shop floor abruptly ask a man to leave. It made me uncomfortable as I wasn’t sure what the issue was. The man seemed to be innocently browsing, appeared to take a photo of something he was going to purchase and he was made to feel so uncomfortable, that he had to leave.
I hope the general customer service isn’t always at this level.
