The location is central and well-connected, making it easy to access via public transport or car. Parking is available, though it can get a bit pricey during peak hours.

Inside, you’ll find an impressive mix of high-street and luxury brands, catering to all budgets and tastes. Grand Central adds another layer with its convenient rail connections and upscale shopping. While it can get crowded during peak hours, the lively atmosphere makes it an essential destination for locals and tourists alike.
Nabeel

The shopping centre here is absolutely massive and full of high end brands everywhere. There is even 2 shopping centers because of how large is it and both include 2/3 floors There are also events that happen weekly where last time I went there was a ballet show going on. Recently, I came down here for the Christmas market and it was the most gorgeous thing I’ve ever seen. If you want to get into the Christmas spirit this is your place to go. I will say it is quite pricey but not any ridiculous amount.
Nicole

Notable eateries include popular chains as well as independent restaurants, allowing visitors to indulge in everything from gourmet burgers to international flavors. The communal dining area fosters a lively environment, perfect for socializing.
Accessibility is well-considered, with excellent transport links and ample parking options. This makes it easy for visitors to reach the center and explore all it has to offer.

The Bullring & Grand central is a really great place to do some Christmas shopping. You get to see variety of nice shops around. Although, it gets extremely busy and crowded around the Christmas period.
Spent some time at the Frankfurt Christmas Market . Spotted the Coca-cola Christmas Truck the other day I visited.

Primark offers an impressive selection of fashionable and affordable clothing, making it a top choice for bargain hunters. The variety ranges from trendy outfits to beloved character merchandise, appealing to all ages and tastes. Shopping here can be a delightful experience, as there’s always something new to discover.
While Primark is known for its great deals, the store can get quite busy, leading to longer wait times at the checkout. This is a minor inconvenience compared to the wide array of products available, including seasonal items and special collaborations. Overall, it’s a fun destination for those looking to enhance their wardrobe without breaking the bank.

A large store with most of the new in items, however not much staff and long queues for such a busy and big store. Waited a long time in the queue for 2 items. Such a large store doesn’t have self service yet when smaller ones do.
Grinch cafe was cute

Strategic location, can easily find it from Birmingham Moor street station. Prepare to spend at least 1 hour to look around, many bargains. Don’t miss this place, worth to visit.

Poor customer service, sales assistants are fine, management lack basic skill set, Michelle, head office have an email with your name in it, and a description of what you look like (dusty wig gyal) and what shift you were on.
Like I said, she’s so lucky I love my life.

Good variety to buy there . Definitely this prime vibe is different from the ones I normally shop at . Some items were not in stock so that is something to look into . Other than that I would recommend it

Visited Gucci / Louis Vitton
Incredible helpful staff here in both shops. Special mention to Anita at the Gucci store who went above and beyond to 2 tourists looking for a decent place to eat. She was also knowledgeable of the Gucci products and was exceptionally and genuinely happy to help and gave her opinion.

Selfridges Birmingham is a shopper’s paradise. Whether you’re hunting for stylish clothes or amazing homeware, there’s something for everyone. The friendly staff are always happy to help you find the perfect outfit or gift.
I loved how easy it was to wander around and explore—shopping here feels like a fun adventure! The store’s design is really cool too.
Make sure you check out their bags, shoes, and clothes. And don’t miss their incredible selection of perfumes—your senses will thank you!
The whole place is neat and tidy, so you can focus on finding the perfect items without any stress.

This literally looks like a bring and buy sale being held in an abandoned warehouse. Cheap plastic trestle tables being used to display much of the stock. Toilets are all closed and you can see they’ve inked out “toilets” from the floor info signs. Dim lighting. The department store at the end of the universe.
Joe

Massive department store and amazing bargain gems on the top floor!
Everything very well organised by sizes making very easy to find!

Went in Sunday 15 th December to buy my wife a watch for Christmas. What a shock , store was cold and badly lit when we saw a watch we wanted to look at , after several attempts to find who was meant to on the stall we left empty handed.
Chris Gradwell

Worst experience ever in the bag area buying men Calvin Klein backpack. It was clearly damaged and they manager said it will not break right now but that’s not the point because it will in couple months when I won’t be able return it. The manager was very rude and not supporting showing attitude. Avoid this crappy place at all cost because I will never be returning.

I always find some great discounts here. Nice place to buy accessories. 4th floor always has something on massive sales.

Customer Reviews
The query at the fitting room is quite long and very discouraging, they need a larger space because of the crowd that comes into the store, it tends to make the place crowded. They have amazing clothes and very affordable and the quality is very good
Precious Afolabi

Love Zara for mens clothing. You just need to have a really good look around. They have some unique pieces, that soon disappear so keep checking in. Quality is always good and not overly priced.
Steve Jarvis

The new Zara inside the bullring looks nice aesthetically, with a minimalist approach to the design. However for the large space, the clothing range is very limited in comparison to the vast range it once offered when it was outside of the bullring. It was a let down visiting today since it moved inside hoping to have the same shopping experience and a wider range of clothing now that it even had a bigger space to work with. I believe also their pricing has increased slightly, Overall I found it underwhelming and quite difficult to find items I was looking for.
Edi Nyado

Greaseball security guard makes you feel uncomfortable as soon as you walk in. He wouldn’t stop STARING at us even after we’d made our way in & were shopping in store. His slicked back combover hair nearly tripped us up on the way in.
Glad I took an antihistamine before we came as the dust in here will kill you if you have allergies, so untidy, very unkempt store. It’s smaller than their previous store as everything is cramped onto one floor for women, with kids in this store rather than the mens store. I wonder why that is..The worker busy bees are too busy to look for sizes for you/check stock & purposefully make you feel uncomfortable, looking you up & down instead of saying hello as you enter their section. They’re more concerned about their uniforms looking uniform so you can’t tell which one you just spoke to about something. You turn around & they disappear like magic! Might be some dodgy trick like the many they have up their sleeve (don’t ask if they have different colours in the sleeve, they might give you rabies biting your head off for asking). We were browsing, like the other approx 20 people in the store when the slimy security guard slithered up to us waving his radio (did you know, it makes one grow 3 inches when one does that), telling us the shop was closing in 5 minutes. We blinked & he reappeared, telling us tills were about to close in 3 minutes, not noticing we were all holding an armful of items each. Due to his magic act of telling only us out of the choice customers in there, we decided to leave the items we were holding, with every intention of purchasing. I think he nearly fell over himself running to tell mummy & daddy manager on us, pointing his radio at us as we exited the store. I believe the radio is now a part of him, an extension of his limb & makes him feel adequate in more than one area of his life.
Zara, lose this guy & train your people in good old fashioned customer service. Legend has it you might sell more if people are made to feel welcome. Some say they might even return.
Harpreet Bassan

Similar to a lot of the reviews about this store, my sisters and I were basically profiled by the security guards the minute we walked in 3 days after Christmas with no good reason. The security guard with slicked oiled back hair and beady eyes literally stared at us the entire time we were in the store even though with our armfuls of clothes it was clear we were there for the long haul to buy a fair amount as we have done for decades at Zara. It felt like he profiled us for being “the wrong Asians” which is heavily discriminatory. I’m not sure if it’s because of the new refurb but to be honest we’ve always experienced rude staff at this particular store even in the old location. They’re not bothered to help customers, always rushing to do something else (what?) instead of putting the customer first – surely the first golden rule of exceptional retail service. Strangely the security guards at the old store (pre-refurb) were always discreet and polite whereas the one we experienced yesterday was a jumped up one, chest puffed out like he was guarding expensive watches at a jewellery store rather than a bog standard high street store. When he warned us 5 minutes before store was closing, then came back for a three minute warning that the tills would close with his radio rudely pointing at us, my sister got fed up with the constant surveillance as she was clearly trying to make a decision on items to purchase and said to him you’ve mentioned that to us already. He unprofessionally visibly rolled his eyes and went to loudly speak to the store manager about us. We all got fed up with this behaviour we’d experienced for approx 1.5 hours and just put all the clothes we were intending to buy back on the rails without purchasing. I’ve worked in retail before and know the difference between no and exceptional customer service is effort, being approachable, friendly and taking time to help customers, all of which it seems is asking too much of the staff at this Zara store. Looking at the other reviews here I’m sure we’re not the only ones that are put off buying from this particular store because of the rude staff so please – Birmingham Zara store, you need to urgently brush up on customer service skills immensely, as it seems to be the biggest reason why a lot of business and sales are being lost. A key note to mention: after we left the store on this visit we ended up spending more than we intended to spend at Zara in the nearby Selfridges, probably due to the exceptional customer service we experienced. Zara, take note from other stores!

“Great fragrance store with an amazing selection and helpful staff! They helped me find the perfect scent in a welcoming and well-organized space. Highly recommend!”

I recently had an exceptional shopping experience at Almanaar Islamic Store. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, genuinely listening to my needs and providing tailored recommendations.
Their expertise and customer-focused approach left me thoroughly impressed. I will definitely be returning for future purchases and highly recommend this store to others looking for outstanding service. Thank you!

I visited this store hoping to find a book to guide me through the rituals and practices of Umrah. When I asked for assistance, the staff member couldn’t have been less interested—he simply pointed to the book section without offering any further help or guidance. Feeling dismissed, I left and went to a smaller Islamic shop just a few doors down, where the staff were far more attentive and helpful. They not only guided me to the right book but also provided additional advice and recommendations. I won’t be returning here again; customer service matters, especially when people come seeking knowledge about their faith.
Zahir Uddin

I got different types of services in 2 different days I went shopping here, perfumes.
I like the perfumes good price & decent smells,I liked first time service of staff, but didn’t liked at all second time of service of staff, was to poor on communication.
I have to mention it was different people on staff both occasions I went there, but yeah can tell, some people have naturally manners for this job, some have no clue about the job they are doing

After nearly going home depressed and very unhappy. I went to BadRihno in the Bullring, after giving the store a phone call beforehand. The staff’s attitude in this store were impeccable. Fantastic clothing for bigger guys, smart casual etc. I’m thrilled to bits with what I brought in store today. Thank goodness that BadRihno are doing what almost every clothing store in Birmingham are not doing, by having clothes that are above XL size with availability to try on the clothes in store, before making a purchase. Thank you for providing an alternative and not disregarding people that require larger clothes. £223 spent well and was a bargain, considering the amount of clothing that I purchased. The clothes are of the highest quality and look really good. I would recommend any larger male to go to this place, you’ll be shocked at how quality the clothing is.
Callum Francis

Actually came here for a taco bell but wasn’t impressed with it.
Some escalators were out of order and it wasn’t immediately obvious where places were. I was in a rush so probably the best candidate for a “how well laid out and sign posted is this place” test.
There is a good selection of shops.
The Taster

Went to call taxi at shop, phone not working was asking for help but was engorged for a while, this made me feel rejected and lost anxious and embarrassed I had to keep asking for help over and over again. As a pensioner this is not good as we are not as quick as we used to be, eventually a young lady helped me, being there was a nightmare.

This market is a blessing for new people in the city who do not have any idea about spends and rates. This market offers almost everything required for household and clothing at pocket friendly prices. One should be ready to be vigilant to confirm the quality of the item. Many stalls that offer utensils, kitchen wares, few appliances, spices, condiments, clothes, electronic items, winter wear, hardware, cosmetics, perfumes, etc. Situated just next to the bullring central and open market. It’s a cash only market.

Love it, great for browsing, and can buy so many essential household goods, get trustworthy and affordable watch and phone repairs, and also fancy dress costumes, beautiful fabrics, and some great clothes stores too, all under one roof and very central, right next to the Bull Ring Shopping Centre and Outdoor Markets, which again are brill!

Curtain fabric, velvet texture, would have cost a fortune if I bought the curtains from a shop readymade. Check out this market stall for best prices and great looking curtains. (Zoom in one of these pictures for the name and details of the stall). Say Janet sent you.

Here you can buy clothes, linings, linens, boxes and a number of household stuffs. There are stalls that sell everything from fragrance, make-up and so on.

We visited Suleman Fragrances after seen this advertised on TikTok, as instructed look for the shop sign, shop number C17.
When we arrived with my daughter the wonderful young lad called Yousuf greeted us with a smile.
Overall service was friendly and he had a great variety of products, his products are new and not old that sit there for years.
Great bottle designs and good quality packaging, ideal for gifts also.
Prices were that good that we were happy to pay without having to think they were overpriced.
Overall I give this 10/10.
We wondered round the market and seen some wonderful shops and some shops could have done with tidy up or updating there presence.
Too many bag shops, jewellery and many other same products that didn’t make me confident but confused.
We only came for Fragrances and the only reason we were happy people.
Overall Suleman Fragrances and Yousuf was the best thing for us at the market.
Definitely recommend and will be back.
Thank You x

Beth was absolutely lovely and extremely helpful (also a Blues fan). James supported us before and he too was very helpful. Good service with an excellent attitude to customers. When the time comes for us to kit out with kits for my boys again or the eventual crushed velvet suit hire for prom, we know where we will go.
Thank you!

A vast range of menswear and brilliant service as always. Connor in the suit department took time to fit me out for daughter’s wedding reception and I can’t praise him highly enough. Nothing new however as the staff are always polite and courteous.
R S

A long established and well run branch which has been in Birmingham for decades.
Firstly, selection of suits for men and children is very impressive. A very wide range of suits to cater for all quality and price demands. They will also tailor the suit to adjust it, with the price. Turn around is 7 days. This is an excellent service.
Children’s suits are available in a decent range (at least a dozen options) for 7 year olds and upwards. This includes 3-piece suits (go to second floor).
Secondly, I find most shops have staff which haven’t a clue about the stuff they’re selling. Staff here are knowledgable, well trained and very helpful. They can genuinely provide that one to one service you need to buy a suit and have a good sense of what works and what doesn’t.
Highly recommended.
Iqbal Mohammed

Just wasited weeks pointlessly lying that my suit would be in from delivery for like a week running. They’ve been telling me “it’s coming tomorrow” every day. Even said they put it on special next day delivery only for it to apparently end up at a completely different store. Quick to take my money but lied every day since.
Randy1991Marsh

Visited this store today Monday to purchase clothes. For around 10 mins not 1 member of staff approached me or offered me a greeting of hello or anything, not even that busy. 3 staff looked into my face and blanked me:
Never agin visiting.

Customer Reviews
A big store with good options and variety IF you are in luck on the day you chose to visit. If your foot size is the most common size then consider reaching there before the store opens, if you are late, expect the shelves to be so clean and clear that the cleaning staff can have a day off!
The staff are not very friendly, as for every help you need their response will be, “everything we have is on the shelves”, even if the question is, where can I find the xyz size item? Funny right!
Anyways, don’t get your hopes too high, and if you don’t stay nearby, then don’t visit one stop only to come to Nike. Have a plan B that can save your day and efforts.

Nike Clearance lives up to its name when it comes to prices—they’re very affordable. However, the quality of the products isn’t always top-tier. If you’re looking for items for everyday use at a cheap price, it’s a decent place to shop. Just don’t expect the same quality as you’d find in regular Nike stores.

At the Nike Clearance Store, the experience is one of affordability without sacrificing quality. With shoes and Nike Air Max available for a combined total of £30, it’s evident that the store offers significant discounts on premium footwear. Whether you’re a runner, a gym-goer, or simply someone who appreciates stylish and comfortable shoes, finding such a deal is a rare gem.
Moreover, the availability of track pants for just £7 adds to the appeal of the shopping experience. This not only allows customers to complete their outfit but also demonstrates the breadth of options available at discounted prices. Whether you’re in need of activewear or casual attire, the Nike Clearance Store delivers on both style and affordability.
Overall, the store provides an opportunity for shoppers to access Nike’s renowned products at a fraction of their regular prices. The combination of quality, variety, and affordability makes it a must-visit for anyone looking to upgrade their wardrobe without breaking the bank.

Females, unless you’re a size minus 0. Pointless. If your not fussy about trainers you might find something.
Men might have better luck.

Great little outlet however being followed around by security guards for no reason is rather annoying . I totally understand the need for security but I was on crutches so no mad dash being made here.
The security guard was too busy watching me that he missed a man walk into the shop pick up a box of trainers and walk straight out. Once security realised they didn’t really do alot.
All in all staff were great , shops very reasonable , security are a disappointment.
