Build-A-Bear Workshop

I went into the store to buy a bear for my daughter. I had a £5 pound off coupon and a £10 pound voucher. After my daughter had built her bear and did the heart ceremony (that was amazing and that member of staff was unbelievably nice) I was told (very rudely) that the coupon and voucher wouldn’t be accepted and that there was ‘loads of signs’ to explain that. The 2 signs were tiny (and pointed out in an extremely condescending way by the member of staff) and not in prominent places at all. Obviously I was going to buy the bear regardless but when it should have been £15 rather than the £30 I paid it was very annoying. I was even more annoyed when I got back to our accommodation and checked the website to see that the bear I had bought should have been reduced to £17. While I understand it’s not a fully fledged store it should be advertised that they will rip you off because they are in a high end store. Having to pay extra didn’t annoy me as much as the terrible customer service. The lady working there should never work in customer services because she has a terrible attitude and no personal skills.

Amazing. Simply Amazing. I was overjoyed at how patient the woman was who helped us, she was made the whole experience such a happy one. We just popped in to have a quick look at the range of teddies but when my son went and watched someone "build-a-bear" themselves, he simply couldn't resist. We didn't feel rushed and didn't feel pressured to buy all the extras or anything like that. But I do wish we could go back and do it all again, because it was such a magical experience for my boy.

Nimrah was amazing! She helped stuff my sons 2nd birthday bear. The heart ceremony was the sweetest, she got him fully captivated and involved, he loved it!

Travelled from Coventry to learn my daughter can’t use her gift cards here. Obviously I can’t disappoint her and had to buy the bear. This should be made clearer.

Never been to build a bear before.....was an ace experience! The staff totally made it! I wished the had remembered their names!! (Darren maybe?) Was at the entrance to meet us and totally sold the customer experience to me and my little niece. He made it so amazing! So helpful!!! Customer journey was good going onto the stuffing machine with a lovely gentleman (as pictured) he was ace too! The journey very much fell off a cliff after that but hey cant have it all! The guys at the start were amazing! It was special!
