What an absolutely amazing, not-so-little hobby shop! They have everything you could possibly want for your hobbies, from a wide range of paints and brushes to accessory tools like hand drills, side cutters... the list goes on. But the most important and heartwarming part of this shop is that it’s run by a father and son. This is why I will continue to shop at Model Maker — to support independent, family-run retailers in a niche market.
Great shop, everything you could want from a model shop. Lots of good deals and friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. Would go again.
Selling products at a very reasonable price, I bought multiple items online with this store, the owner then to save on shipping drove them to my house nearly 50 miles away- (after getting my approval, of course) meaning I got my things incredibly quickly!! He then emailed me with an offer to buy more things I said I was interested in at a lower price. Genuinely some of the best customer service I have seen in a very long time. Buy with confidence!!
Brilliant shop with a huge variety of different models, covering lots of interests. The staff are friendly and helpful and the prices very resnoble
First visit today and can only say how impressive the shop is. Went in to look at railway scenics plenty on offer a fair range of railway equipment and some tt120 engines. Spent a fair penny and will no doubt be returning

Visited today, Saturday 3rd August great additional Model Railway stock, I could have spent hours there..service 1st class ..even to the point that a friend of mine is rarely able to get out of the house these days and the guy who served me went to great lengths to find the paint he required talking to him on my mobile.Cant speak highly enough about this shop...thanks again and I'll see you again shortly
