TokyoToys Manga & Gaming Toy Store

Came across the store on a trip to the city. And I have to say for what seems such a small store the variety is amazing! So much option to choose from. The girls working there on the day were lovely and couldn't be more helpful and welcoming if I lived nearer I would be a regular as there were so many things there I liked. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in the area and couldn't recommend it more

As a dad with young ones getting into Pokémon and similar, this place is a godsend. They treat your kids and you with respect and kindness and help them make good decisions and choices. They also have all sorts of cool stuff that I have no idea about but it's cool as hell. Great shop, great people.

We often visit when in Birmingham and this time was Easter Monday. Immediately greeted by both staff and offered assistance if needed. Although me and my daughter were there for a quick browse and didn't buy anything I did take the opportunity to ask for an animé series recommendation as we enjoy watching them together. George ( I think their name was) took their time to listen to what we usually watch/like and gave us a recommendation. We have since then been watching the recommendation and thoroughly enjoyed it! I did say I would leave a negative review of we didn't (joking obviously) but because we are enjoying the recommendation I thought it only fair to leave a positive one! Top notch customer service and always a great shop anyway

Fair pricing, staff are really nice/helpful and there’s a large variety of products available. I bought a Pokémon fuecoco model kit (for only £12) and 2 other pokemon cards (£2 each), all products are in perfect condition and were amazing purchases. I always come here when I go to city centre

Took me forever to get a review up, but always a wonderful experience at this branch. If you have questions, there's always someone to answer. All the staff have been nothing but kind and the type to go out of their way, it's rare to find staff so passionate about what they do. Special shout out to Kye, we had an amazing conversation about two beautiful studio Ghibli books!

Wonderful place full of plushies, squishies, badges, posters, keyring, Japanese treats and books. So many different characters first time I have seen a Black Butler poster displayed in a window. Staff were very kind and helpful. Prices are very good. I am going to reccomend my friends come here A*

Popped in yesterday looking to trade in some Pokemon cards and had the best customer service. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and efficient with pricing up my cards (unfortunately didn't get everyone's names). Shannon was outstanding when I was deciding which cards to buy using my trade in credit. She kindly took out each card I was interested in from their singles display unit, allowing me to look at the cards closely, without feeling pressured at all. She was very knowledgeable and helpful with regards to card condition, pricing etc and went above and beyond by showing me cards that weren't processed for sale yet, which I ended up buying two cards from. Thanks again Shannon! Overall, a fantastic customer experience and I would highly recommend Shannon and everyone else in the team, thank you all. Lovely, friendly shop for anyone into anime/manga, and of course Pokemon. Would give more than 5 stars for customer service if I could.
