Hyatt Rengency Hotel Birmingham is a very nice and cozy hotel with great facilities. It offers halal food, and prayer mats are available upon request, which I really appreciated. The leisure facilities are lovely, with a heated swimming pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, and spa. However, my stay was let down by the fact that the room did not have a smart TV as mentioned on the website, which caused a lot of wasted time considering that I planned to stay in most of the times. The hotel eventually upgraded us (to a similar room just a few floors higher) after several contact made to reception and a long wait, but I’m grateful to Kenza for her assistance. On checkout, Nandini was very kind and offered support for my next visit as a gesture for the inconvenience. There's also an issue with parking, which operates on a first come first serve basis. So if you park your car on day 1 and say you're staying for 3 days, you have to pay for the parking for 3 days ahead which is £27 for 24hr. During these days if you happen to take your car out and come back with no free parking space, you lose your money. Your slot is not reserved. It would be better if they charge us for parking when we are leaving the car park rather than making us pay in advance. Overall, a comfortable hotel with excellent amenities, but clearer information on room facilities would have made the stay much smoother. I would have come better prepared.

Lovely stay! The hotel was clean, modern and comfortable. Our room was outstanding, shower, bed, and a view was great. Staff were friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. The gym was a bonus, well equipped and great for a workout.|Would definitely return.

This is not a 5 star hotel much rather a 3 star. Decor and furniture throughout the building is tired and dated. Breakfast was good and staff friendly. Cleaning was also very good, but these are areas you expect to be good in all big brand hotels. Don't waste your money staying here as there are cheaper and better options locally. Simple room service requests are charges at £5 per request (i.e. toothbrush, spoon, anything that involves somone to come to your room).

I’ve stayed at the Hyatt in Birmingham several times, usually when attending conferences, and it’s always been a great experience. The location is perfect – just a short walk from the ICC and the city centre – which makes it really convenient for both work and leisure. What makes this hotel stand out is the staff. Everyone is friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Whether it’s the front desk, housekeeping, or the restaurant team, the service is always excellent. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable, with great views of the city. It’s also surprisingly quiet, which makes it easy to relax after a busy day. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Birmingham, especially if you’re going to an event or conference nearby. It’s a reliable and welcoming place to stay.

Great overall hotel but showing its age in some of the in room decor / condition. ||||I stay here twice a year as a minimum for work (have done for 15 years +) and the overall experience is not to the standard I would expect for the premium price over other hotels in the general area.

Stayed at the Hyatt Birmingham recently and had an unforgettable experience thanks to Gabi (on the evening of the 14th September 2025). She went above and beyond with her service, making our stay truly special. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about guests, Gabi’s the one. Highly recommend and the Hyatt in general!
