Where do I even start!DISGUSTING.When first inquiring I spoke to Steve on the phone numerous times to ensure I had all the details I needed to decide on whether to proceed. Steve ‘sold’ me the perfect pitch and stated our belongings would be at our destination within 12-16 weeks (without quarantine). We were moving from the UK to Australia. Based upon that information I thought the time frame was manageable.I went ahead with this company only to be disappointed on every single level.My belongings were collected 11th March 2024. I then had no further contact from the company to update me on the progress of my shipment.As I was approaching the 12 week mark (end of May 2024) I decided to call and find out what was happening and how much longer I would have to wait. My husband spoke to Paul (I believe) on the phone and to our disgust we were told that our belonging were STILL in the UK and hadn’t even departed yet! We were given a big talk about how the time frame was an ‘estimate’ and that they ‘have to tell their customers this to get business’. We expressed how we were so disappointed that there has been NO COMMUNICATION throughout the whole process and how stressful it has been. There were not any genuine apologies, only ‘it states in the contract that times are an estimate’.Also whilst on the phone call Paul explained to us that ALL the moving companies board upon the same ship and they have to wait until the vessel is full. So overall it doesn’t really matter what company you go to and what quote your given, you may as well go for the cheapest company.2nd September arrived and we were told our vessel had arrived, only to find out a week later that was the wrong information and our vessel actually arrived on the 9th September. THIS HAS NOW TAKEN ALMOST 6 MONTHS TO JUST ARRIVE AT THE PORT.We finally received our belongings on 2nd October (one week short of 7 MONTHS). When opening the boxes I noticed how badly they were packed in terms of how few belongings were in each box. For example, square items had been places in the box diagonal and nothing was filling in the gaps. This is frustrating as they told us we had to pay for extra boxes as our belongings didn’t fit. Items were wrapped in an unbelievable amount of paper bulking out the boxes.Overall I am extremely dissatisfied with the whole process of this company. Lies and no communication has made this an experience I wouldn’t wish upon anyone. My advice, if possible do not use this service and add on extra suitcases for important luggage.

Great service! Everyone in the team is friendly and helpful, there was a bit of a lack in communication occasionally, but we had our goods delivered on time in the south of France and in perfect condition, the delivery people collecting and delivering the goods were really nice and took great care every step of the way. Moving abroad is quite a stressful experience and I would definitely recommend International Moving Expert if you want a stress free move.

I entrusted International Moving Expert (IME) with my move from the UK to Denmark in November / December 2024. Right from the initial contact by Steve, there was a knowledgeable and professional approach and all my questions were answered fully, this was so different to the other companies that I’d spoken to . The paperwork was straight forward and the costings and my requirements were clearly stated with an estimated pick up and delivery time very quickly identified. Shashi and the rest of the admin team were quick to respond to my emails phone calls and queries, and I felt well updated as pick up and delivery dates were firmed up.On the day of the move the team arrived on time and were polite and careful with my belongings , the same can be said for the team that delivered my belongings two weeks later. The company name says everything you need to know about what they do as they are the International Moving Experts ! And I would highly recommend them to any one wishing to move to or from the UK and abroad !! Simply brilliant ! Thank you
