Lovely house and gardens, can't wait for spring and early summer to see the gardens in all their glory. The house is fabulous. The restaurant serves good food at a reasonable price. Only downside, group of six, we had to split up into three groups.Parking, we arrived before opening, so car park was still closed, had to wait nearby in a laybye.

A lovely oasis of a garden in the heart of the city. This building and garden has an interesting history which is well explored in the exhibits - belonging to the family of a wealthy industrialist who later bequeathed it to the university, and it was only in the last 10 years refurbished and made open to the public. The garden is quite large and you could spend well over an hour wandering through if you were so inclined - with a connection to woodland and Edgbaston lake at the back. The Interior rooms give a sense of what life would have been like. There is a nice tea room looking out over the garden serving full meals; we enjoyed a tasty and filling afternoon tea with a gorgeous view overlooking the gardens. But the real magic for me was outside in the gardens. Wandering through the lush, landscaped grounds, I felt completely at peace. Every corner of the garden seemed to reveal something new—a vibrant flower bed, a quiet pond, or a secluded bench perfect for reflection. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable, making the experience even more enjoyable. It’s a lovely spot to unwind and connect with nature, and I left feeling refreshed and inspired.

Beautiful place and a wonderful garden. You also get the option to look within the house there and it is lovely, well kept and has some wonderful pieces of history to go with the artefacts. The garden itself is lovely, well maintained and has a wide variety of different flower species. What I liked most about the garden was that they have a wheelchair friendly and pushchair friendly route that allows for more people to access the garden. Not all parts are accessible but I love that they have made a conscious choice to try and make it more accessible for people, so a massive thumbs up for that. Overall, a lovely experience and highly recommend. On a small side note, car park is free but a little tight when busy. You may struggle to park if, like me, you have a larger vehicle! Just something to keep in mind.

A garden from heaven in Birmingham, a magnificent natural wonder to see⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The staff on duty RAVI was extremely respectful and polite. Thank you very much RAVI I had no parking problems. It has a nice environment to go with children. The guests were sitting on the grass area and enjoying the beautiful sunny weather. There is a restaurant and cafe. Since I went on a weekday, it was quiet and peaceful with bird sounds. There are many kinds of plants. Cleaning is great, thank you to the cleaning team and garden staff for providing us with this environment, you are wonderful

Visited during the heritage weekend (so free admission). The gardens were beautiful with some lovely stepping stones, bridges and raised walkways around the water, the kids loved exploring. The cafe was excellent too, lots of options and the cake was delicious. We plan to visit again and would definitely recommend.
