Alison is absolutely fantastic and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any parents who are looking for a speech therapist. Alison put my son at ease and he felt comfortable with her immediately (he is usually quite shy around new people but not with Alison). Alison is extremely thorough and gave me a detailed overview of where my son’s speech is at, at the end of the appointment as well as providing a very detailed report.m

Alison completed an assessment on my son who is struggling with his sounds and fluency. She completed a very thorough assessment at our home, using play which my son greatly enjoyed. Very compassionate and caring therapist. Would highly recommend.

Alison worked closely with my daughter and helped her correct some of the sounds she was missing. The lessons were turned into games which made it fun for my daughter while she was learning. Alison from the start was full of knowledge and advice to aid my daughters speech and help us alongside to support too.

Alison came to see our 4 year old son for an assessment of his speech at our home in Chester. Our son enjoyed his time with Alison and remained engaged by playing lots of varied games which allowed her to assess the level of his speech while he had fun. Alison then gave us a toolkit of ways that we can help our son over the next few months so that we can help strengthen his speech as he starts reception in September. It is then up to us whether we would like another session depending on how he has progressed. Thank you Alison for the session. Alison is a very caring, empathetic and compassionate lady who really has your child’s best interest at heart. Her sessions with my son are fun and he really looks forward to working with her. He can lack concentration but can often go for 45-50 minutes with Alison due to the variety of activities she does and really adapts her style to suit his likes. His speech has progressed in such a short period of time with thanks to Alison and her weekly sessions and guidance for simple activities we can do at home with him too.
