Her massages may hurt because I have a lot of knots and tightness of the muscles but I leave knowing that my knots and tension have been released and I feel so much better! She is very knowledgeable and has this skill of working the muscles. She knows when to be gentle and when to be firm.

I had never tried reformer Pilates before, so I started with a private session with Eve. She’s incredibly encouraging, attentive, and always willing to adjust my movements to ensure I’m doing them correctly. I felt comfortable discussing my goals and asking questions, and she made the whole experience so welcoming. Every session leaves me feeling well-exercised and accomplished, and the class has definitely boosted my confidence to try new things in my fitness journey. I’ve also noticed an improvement in my flexibility and core strength after each session.
Charlotte’s classes, both private and group (which are capped at 10 people), are equally fantastic. She is also very kind and encouraging. She ensures everyone receives personalized attention, regardless of experience level.
If reformer Pilates is something you’ve been curious about, I highly recommend giving it a try! A few introductory sessions are a great way to familiarize yourself with the reformer bed.
The studio is bright and everyone is welcoming, it also has an area to relax or have food. The only downside is that the changing rooms and lockers are located on a different floor that you need to take lift to go down and there’s only 1 to 2 toilets. However, you can store your belongings on shelves in the class room if needed.
Overall, this studio is a fantastic option for anyone looking for a challenging yet rewarding workout experience. This review is more so about the instructor and not the facilities great facilities clean and peaceful vibe to the environment. Started Pilates class a couple of weeks ago had a great experience so far until today. Attended my first class with Victoria Aspenall and the experience with her was horrible, condescending attitude and no grace for any first timers in her class. I was struggling as some of the movements were new to me and a couple of times I had to stop because I’m still a beginner the instructor did stop and ask “Are you ok” in a condescending tone to which I replied yes I am ok. During one of the movements I stopped to catch my breath and she came over and said “if you don’t want be here then you could leave. Because your face is distracting the class” she then giggled said “I just can’t because of your face”. I was taken a back as everyone else in the class was focused on doing the movement and not me. As a first timer in a class I haven’t done before with a new instructor the interaction wasn’t pleasant for me and I did not feel encouraged to stay. She did not offer to show me a beginner variation or try to show me how to do the movement . As I was leaving she then said go to the front desk and you could get you credit back for the class which I did get back.
Although I got my credit back the experience was not pleasant and it should not have happened. Considering these classes are not cheap I would expect to have positive interactions with the instructors. Again it is a lovely place and all the other interactions I’ve had with the other instructors have been positive and I’ve felt encouraged to come back until today. No one ever knows what’s going on when it comes to class pass. You call and call and they say they will get back to you with an answer but they never do. You ask on Instagram and you don’t get a reply. You ask via the mk app and you don’t get a reply. Even if we forget about classpass, I can’t even find out through any of their channels their Christmas opening hours.
The front of staff don’t know what’s happening either.
After I asked about what was happening with classpass, the next day I was in, the receptionist decided she was going to bad mouth me to one of the PT there right in front of me. Me asking what is happening with the schedule isn’t a complaint, it’s a question. Me writing this now, is a review not a complaint.
The classes it self are good, I have no complaints about the Pilates classes or their instructors. But they do ruin it with the business lack of communication.
I do recommend this place if you are paying through the MK app as you will be treated differently by the front of house team, this is based on observation of the over 50 classes I’ve attended since June

As a PT myself and a fat loss expert, I would advertise the classes as so :
Classes with eve and Nicole – it’s for complete beginners. If you are a complete beginner you will struggle with the other classes.
I’ve been going religiously for 6 months, 3 times a week, ive been training for a few years and im an ex athlete, so trust me when i say eve and Nicole are for complete beginners.
I have had classes with every instructor and have no complaints about them.
The instructors are knowledgable, and they talk you through which muscle groups you are working.

I worked with Steff each week for a one-to-one session during which she carefully challenged me and pushed my body to make little steady steps of progress. She worked with me to build my core strength and improve the flexibility and stretch I had lost down my left side.
Within a few weeks I was able to see that I was making measurable progress and I began to realise that pilates might be the route to full recovery.
I have continued to work with Steff each week – and 18 months later I am now back to full mobility & stretch and have more core strength than I have ever had in my life. I have a much greater understanding about how my muscles and parts of my body work together and interlink.
I am now back on my bike, and in August, cycled up Mount Ventoux (a huge 21km steep climb) faster than the times I had produced in my 30s and I’m 57 now! I am also rock climbing once more and enjoying using my new-found strength on harder routes.
So my thoughts and discovery is that Pilates is for everyone, at any stage of life and at any level of fitness. Steff is an experienced teacher and is able to assess your specific needs in each session – and these do vary depending on aches or strains and how you are feeling. The goal is always to leave her studio with a spring in your step and feeling better and stronger than when you went in.

I may not be ultra fit but I do try and keep myself in some sort of shape through cycling, rowing and running but Pilates is different. The activity is short sharp and intense and much more fun due to the variety of exercises and the way Steff keeps the session moving at a reasonably swift pace – no time for a rest or a natter!

Her group classes are also brilliant – I particularly enjoy her imagery and the way she offers different levels according to your ability. Good for both beginners and those with lots of exercise / Pilates experienced.
