I have been having visiting este for the last 2 years for my facial laser treatment and every appointment I attended was with Charlie who is one of the laser specialists at the clinic. Honestly, she is absolutely amazing at what she does! I was always nervous about having treatment on my face and each time I had my appointment she would just chat away while she is carrying out the treatment. I appreciated that a lot from her because it shows she understands her client’s and really cares about offering a great service.

I get my laser hair removal with Frishta and have had the best experience. Frishta was recommended to me, through my sister who also had amazing results. I have noticed a difference after 1 session and I have just had my second session. She was very welcoming and had made me feel very comfortable. She kept me updated throughout the treatment and talked me through the treatment, assuring me when needed. She was very attentive and went the extra mile during my treatment! She also gave me the best advice on what other treatments are suitable and appropriate for me. She is very friendly, as well as the whole team downstairs, who are ever so polite and welcoming. The only clinic I can trust hands down 🙂

I had my hair transplant yesterday with the DHI robotic machine at Este Medical Group, and the whole experience was unbelievable. At first, I was a bit nervous because of the things I’d heard about hair transplants, but from the very beginning, I was completely surprised in the best way.

The procedure was very smooth, with only a little pain for a minute or two at the start , after that, it was virtually painless. The clinic itself was spotless, and the team made me feel comfortable throughout. They were incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional.

I always have an amazing experience at Este medical group. Sanisha was amazing with the consultation and explained to me clearly on my condition suggested treatment options most suitable for me. And Irana is also such an amazing person, always receives me warmly and is also an expert with the treatment and let’s me know all the precautions that I need to take. Over all I am very happy with the Este medical.

From the moment I arrived at Este Birmingham I was treated with care professionalism and most of all I was made to feel relaxed. A young man who was a true gentleman took excellent care of myself and shown me around the clinic and told me in great detail what the procedure was going to involve and what steps the operation would happen in. After this I was introduced to the Doctor who was very professional and personal. Once I had the consultation with the doctor the young man gave me a super new hair cut which I really like then I was taken to the private recovery rooms which was laid out very stylish but practical. It had everything you would expect in high quality clinic it was perfect. Once I change into my theatre gown I was welcomed by the nursing staff who were all friendly and very professional they truly did take care of myself all the way through the procedure. The procedure was smooth very professional and I never felt like that I had to worry which is of up most important in such a long procedure. At lunch time we had amazing food which was restaurant standard I would advise the chicken it was truly amazing. After my procedure had finished I was made to feel relaxed and ultimately safe the staff at this clinic are very attentive and cater to your ever need. The after care team where fantastic they gave me step by step instructions how to take care of my hair and how to take the antibiotics and the other pills which I can’t remember the name of and top it all off they also gave me a goody bag with lots of mini treats which was really cool. To surmise everything up this clinic in Birmingham is a stand out establishment with really attentive staff, very high standards and I would recommend it to family and friends at a drop of a hat .

Had a transplant done here after hearing about the robotic Dhi and even from before I had booked the transplant the team were very helpful in answering questions for me. The transplant itself was long (14 hours) but the amount of grafts was more than i could have wished for (over 6000). The hair washes were also very nice as the clinic allows me to do them every day. Lumia helped take off my scabs and also answered my questions on the last day which was great.

Came in for a men’s haircut after years. I had long hair that was really damaged. My stylist Chad, who also happens to be the owner, was absolutely phenomenal. Superbly skilled and knowledgeable. I was having a hard time deciding what cut I wanted, so I had him do what he thought was best, and it turned out great! I felt very comfortable during the session. It was lovely talking to him. Also gave me advice on taking proper care of my hair. Believe me when I say that you can absolutely trust this man with your hair. Never been this happy with a haircut. Highly recommend!

I had an incredible experience at this salon! After a terrible eyebrow appointment, I walked in feeling pretty desperate, and they took me in right away. My stylist, was amazing! She did a fantastic job cutting my hair, taking into account my very curly texture, and still gave me a fresh, cute look without taking off too much. She even let me play around with my hair and gave me great tips. I’d give her a 10 out of 10 and definitely recommend this place!

If I could give 10 stars I would. I had a brilliant experience with Alesha, I had done everything you can do to destroy my hair and curls but I didn’t feel judged by her, she was incredibly positive and skilled and gave me hope that I could restore my hair to its former length and volume. The entire process was so relaxing. I’ve had curly cuts elsewhere many years ago but I’ve never felt so chilled as I did today. I also have a lot of hair and the process was incredibly quick from start to finish. I’m so happy and immediately booked my next appointment for 4 months time. Danny has created a lovely inclusive environment and I’m so pleased to be a curly cut girl again after a long absence!

While I generally prefer not to complain but the owner promised an appointment, its been weeks and never heard from them again.

Around July i had an appointment just before my holidays. I arrived at 2:50 PM for my 3:00 PM appointment, which didn’t actually begin until after 3:30 PM. I understand stylists can be busy, but this delay was considerable.

When asked what I wanted, I showed my stylist an “inspiration” photo and a previous look I’d had. I specifically asked for her professional opinion on whether long or short hair would be better for my curl type, or if she had any recommendations. I was disappointed by her responses of “I don’t know” and “you know your hair more,” followed by “do what you like.” I had hoped for expert advice, which is why I chose a curly hair professional rather than cutting my hair myself again. Receiving no guidance felt like a waste of my money. I then requested a fringe, explaining that my hair shrinks significantly when dry and I only wanted a few pieces. The result is a truly terrible fringe.

The heat in the salon was also unbearable, making the long drying time even more uncomfortable. I said everything was ok because i really just wanted to leave it was hot there and i had my bf waiting for me like an hour ago.

This isn’t my first visit to the salon; I had a positive experience last year. However, Friday’s appointment was genuinely the worst I’ve had in the four years I’ve been trying to embrace my curls. While the stylist herself was nice, paying around £70 for this outcome feels completely unfair. I contacted the salon, they promised a new appointment, i ask to get a new date and they just never replied.

Had a great experience with Cecile and love the result. I hadn’t had my hair done in a salon in approx 15 years, following bad experiences with people who didn’t ‘get’ curls, and just did my own. I decided to give S&L a go and was not disappointed. I got what I wanted, which was help with the general shape of my hair, and have now got a great foundation. Thank you!

I got a curly cut and style done at Strand & Lock with Cecile and she was amazing. It was my first curly cut and I was a bit apprehensive about getting something so different done to my hair. Cecile took the time to see pictures, hear about what I wanted and then asked questions to clarify everything which really eased my worries. I also have a lot of allergies; nuts, sesame seed and various fruits and Cecile made sure to check the ingredients before and allowed me to check them too, finding other products that might work with anything that might have my allergies in them. All in all a very positive experience and I would recommend.

Charlotte went above and beyond during my appointment to have my hair extensions taken out, cleaned, re-fitted. I also had my hair colour refreshed and my red moneypieces bleached and dyed red again. The whole process was fantastic – Charlotte shared her opinion on what would look best and I was guided by her ideas and thoughts which was a great call because I am incredibly happy with the outcome. Charlotte provided hair care tips too which has completely changed the way I look after my hair extensions for the better. I loved my appointment and know I’ll always be in safe hands with Charlotte.

I can’t fault Hush at all! As soon as I walked in I was greeted with politeness, everyone seemed lovely throughout my whole appointment. I went in last week for an appointment with Becky for a very drastic change with my hair. She was very thorough before putting any bleach/dye on with how the process would be, checking I was completely happy with the placements of the different colours. She took her time making sure everything looked perfect, I couldn’t have trusted anyone else with what I wanted done!
At the end of the appointment when I had my cut she took her time making sure not too much was cut off as I wanted to keep length but ensuring that any damaged bits were gone. My hair has genuinely never felt healthier despite what I had done to it!

I had ash tone highlights from here. The owner Naz is so professional and did my hair so very well. Infact she is very accommodating and did correction of my highlights as well. My two daughters had balayage for the first time and Naz did that on their virgin hair even without using bleach. I would strongly recommend to visit this place especially for hair cut and colour. OMG, what can I say about Craig and the overall experience I had??? AMAZING, INCREDIBLE, SENSATIONAL, doesn’t come close!! When I walked in I felt like a frumpy old woman, a mass of curly hair following chemo. It was the first time I’d been in ANY kind of a salon for at least 18 months, and I’d never been in a high end salon. I was anxious about having my hair cut, but at the same time, I desperately wanted it cut. I was quite literally in tears beforehand, and tears of joy after. Not only was the hair cut absolutely stunning, Craig is an absolute joy! I felt like I’d know him for years, more like a family member by the end of the cut and blow dry. I will DEFINITELY be back, he’s not only a wonderful hair dresser, he’s a fabulous human being.

Visited Charlie’s salon for the first time today through friends’ recommendations, and I’m so glad I did. The service from beginning to end was warm, professional and friendly, and the salon was pleasant, clean, and had plenty of natural sunlight – perfect for seeing my new hair colour! Went here for a cut and colour top-up (highlights) with Charlie who is very professional and takes a lot of care to make your hair perfect. All the staff are friendly and kind. The salon has a nice comfortable atmosphere and you feel very well looked after here. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Always extremely unprofessional. They leave half way into waxing your face for 10 minutes. She left me waiting there to be waxed while she was in a phone call. Completely ignored me even being there after sitting me down. No sense of urgency to even bother ending the phone call to do their job. If I didn’t leave it would’ve probably taken me 20 minutes to get my brows done. Every other salon would’ve just ended their call and start working. And then proceeded to quickly end the call and beg me to come back so she can do her job? Should’ve done that in the first place. This isn’t even the first time. They’re constantly wasting their customers time and money.

Went today as my regular salon closed early and as my time is limited I thought i would just go in here. Well what an experience! (Not a good one)
No customer service skills at all. I was told by another lady not to go to the bleached blonde lady as she ruins eyebrows so I waited for the other lady. I waited 40 minutes as the workers like to have a chat to each other in between clients. So the workers obviously have their regular clients who they prioritise even when other have been waiting longer…how unprofessional! So poomi tried to get her regular client in before me and when I said I was first she said no she was first. I stood up and then the other lady (client said no she was actually first- mind you she was happy to jump in before I spoke!) so as i stood poomi turns around and abruptly shouts I need to clean the room first and I will call you when I’m done. She “cleaned” the seat with a baby wipe and then I went in. I was calm so she had also piped down. She said she couldn’t thread all my eyebrows due to growth so had to wax at first and then thread. Shape is ok but skin is irritated due to wax. Will not return and those who do must have seriously low standards!

I visited this salon about a month ago for threading, and unfortunately, the shape wasn’t what I asked for, and a lot of hair was left behind. I didn’t complain at the time because I thought maybe the stylist was having a rough day.

Yesterday, I gave the salon another chance and went in for fringe bangs. I showed a clear picture of what I wanted, but instead of doing what I asked, she gave me curtain bangs and insisted that fringe bangs wouldn’t suit me. I left feeling disappointed and second-guessing myself.

Today, I went to a different salon and finally got the fringe bangs I originally wanted and they look great! The stylist there told me they suited me very well. I wish I had trusted my instincts and gone somewhere else earlier.

Very nyc reena did my waxing she did very nice…. Owner is very i can say staff is very nyc and professional. Good in hair and beauty .

Got my highlights from here and would not recommend it at all. I asked for a brown/dark brown color and it was not what I received. My hair looked very light and the lady reassured me saying that it would go darker in a few days but it did not. She said if I wanted it toned it would be an extra charge but to get the color I originally asked for it would have had to be toned. Really bad hair coloring service do not come here better off doing it urself.

I never usually trust people with my hair but have been going to ritz for a while now and I can say that they are amazing! The environment is very homely and my hair looks amazing!
