Nicola Honey Artistry

Absolutely loved having Nicola as my hair and make up artist on my wedding day! I did have two trials with her, I loved both looks but after the first felt like something was missing still and she was more than accommodating and helpful in giving me the bridal look I wanted. I loved my hairstyle so much and usually I don’t do much eye make up because I can’t get it to stay on for long enough, but she created a soft smoky eye look that lasted the whole day and didn’t even budge when we had a bit of rain! She also did the hair and make up of my mother and mother of the groom and they looked amazing! It was so lovely to see the boost it gave them and Nicola made them feel happy and relaxed in the chair while she got to work. When you choose your make up artist it’s not just about the work that they do, it’s finding someone who fits in with your day who matches your vibe! It really does affect how you feel and everyone said I was so chilled getting ready and I think part of that was down to knowing I was in such good hands and having someone who was lovely as well as professional that I didn’t need to worry about a thing 🙂

Nicola did my hair and make up for my wedding and it turned out better than I could’ve hoped! I am truly terrible at doing my own hair and make up, I don’t normally have a heavy style and Nicola listened exactly to what I wanted, I was very happy with the result!She is a lovely person and even helped me with getting into my dress when we were all struggling! She is brilliant at what she does. My hair and makeup lasted all day and night, still looking good at the end of the night!I would recommend Nicola to any bride looking for hair and make up for their special day!

Nicola was my hair and make up artist for my wedding. She was amazing. Not only can she do traditional glam but for anyone wanting someone with artistry and creativity she can also be innovating, alternative and take inspiration from lots of different places. As soon as I had my trial I knew I was in safe hands. I couldn’t have been happier with how I looked on my wedding day. My bridesmaids and Mum also looked beautiful. I was lucky enough to see her again recently at one my best friends wedding’s I was bridesmaid for and she worked her magic once again on my friend’s unique and quirky aesthetic so different from my own vintage glamour vibe. Highly recommend Nicola to anyone.

Nicola is awesome at what she does! Nicola did my hair for my wedding and it was gorgeous! I had so much fun meeting her for my hair trial and when it came to the big day she knew exactly what she was doing and made me feel gorgeous! She also did the hair of my three bridesmaids and our two moms and we all looked and felt fabulous. My hair looked great all night and there was lots of jumping around and dancing and my up do didn't budge. Thank you so much Nicola!
