Nicola Honey Artistry

I was weirdly nervous before meeting Nicola. I'd never had my make up done professionally, I'm incredibly self critical and had all the expected wedding pressure. However, I didn't need to worry as Nicola was chatty from the moment we met and put me at ease. During the trial we tried a few different hairstyles and she was more than happy to make sure it was as I wanted. The make up was gorgeous and we discussed a few of the small changes we'd make on the day. On my wedding day, Nicola was on time, well prepared and had remembered the bits I wanted to change from the trial months before. She was relaxed and friendly and I felt a bit sad that she wasn't going to be there for the whole day! She turned me into a Hollywood starlet for the day and both my hair and make up lasted perfectly. I couldn't have wished for a better artist that day, I felt like she understood what I wanted and I completely trusted her. Couldn't recommend Nicola enough.

Nicola was amazing from start to finish, not only is she a lovely person who put me at complete ease on my Wedding day (and the trial) but she is an artist when it comes to hair and make up. She completely hit the brief and even suggested some extras which I hadn’t thought of, like putting some flowers from the bouquet in my hair. She also created the perfect looks for my bridal party and went the extra mile to make sure my mom felt her best. Could not recommend her highly enough.

Nicola is awesome at what she does! Nicola did my hair for my wedding and it was gorgeous! I had so much fun meeting her for my hair trial and when it came to the big day she knew exactly what she was doing and made me feel gorgeous! She also did the hair of my three bridesmaids and our two moms and we all looked and felt fabulous. My hair looked great all night and there was lots of jumping around and dancing and my up do didn't budge. Thank you so much Nicola!

Absolutely loved having Nicola as my hair and make up artist on my wedding day! I did have two trials with her, I loved both looks but after the first felt like something was missing still and she was more than accommodating and helpful in giving me the bridal look I wanted. I loved my hairstyle so much and usually I don’t do much eye make up because I can’t get it to stay on for long enough, but she created a soft smoky eye look that lasted the whole day and didn’t even budge when we had a bit of rain! She also did the hair and make up of my mother and mother of the groom and they looked amazing! It was so lovely to see the boost it gave them and Nicola made them feel happy and relaxed in the chair while she got to work. When you choose your make up artist it’s not just about the work that they do, it’s finding someone who fits in with your day who matches your vibe! It really does affect how you feel and everyone said I was so chilled getting ready and I think part of that was down to knowing I was in such good hands and having someone who was lovely as well as professional that I didn’t need to worry about a thing 🙂

Absolutely amazing! A really wonderful and friendly person who is so talented at what they do. Nicola made me feel so comfortable at the trial and on my wedding day. She understood what I wanted perfectly. She is a very talented make up artist, and I will be recommending her to everyone!

Nicola did my hair and make up for my wedding and it turned out better than I could’ve hoped! I am truly terrible at doing my own hair and make up, I don’t normally have a heavy style and Nicola listened exactly to what I wanted, I was very happy with the result! She is a lovely person and even helped me with getting into my dress when we were all struggling! She is brilliant at what she does. My hair and makeup lasted all day and night, still looking good at the end of the night! I would recommend Nicola to any bride looking for hair and make up for their special day!

I couldn't recommend Nicola enough, it was lovely to spend time with her when she did my daughter's and niece's hair, and my hair and makeup for my Hallowedding on 31st Oct (of course!). She nailed exactly what I wanted and took such care and time with everything, both at the trial and on the day itself. Made me look and feel like a gothic Disney princess for my autmnal wedding!
