If I could give no stars I would. I cannot express enough to anyone thinking of using this company, please stay away for your own sanity! I had someone crash into me when I was pregnant and went through a horrific ordeal which turned into a nightmare with this company dealing with the claim. Apparently it’s just bad luck that I’ve had claims handlers leave and my case was forgotten repeatedly until I chased again. I have had to mentally have a break from it and surprise, no contact from them for over 12 months. I cannot believe what they do is legal, it’s disgusting how they treat people in arguably one of the most stressful times of their lives. Shocking.

UPDATE – What an earth is wrong with the company! Still nothing about my claim. Just getting ignored completely it’s an absolute joke! Seriously avoid at all costs. Looking to call a different company to be honest.

Send multiple emails, rang multiple times left messages. Do not get any reply at all, no updates about my claim. Managed to speak to someone today who transferred me to someone else, was left on hold for over an hour still had no reply. What’s the point, absolutely useless.

Slater and gordon lawyer were representing me since October 2022 untill I stopped using their service on march 2023. Meryl Hanmer was my solictor I have wasted my time and money on this solictor and company. They take forever to spill the beans or get to the point during a phonecall to waste clients money I was charged £250 for a 30mins phonecall I was not satisfied with details of my phone calls. Solictor did not want me to gain a medical letter from my doctor I had to do all the emails chasing and when I finally got a letter behind the scenes myself I asked for it to be used at the pleminary hearing Meryl Hanmer did not allow this. Luckily on January 2023 my pleminary hearing was postponed so it gave me time to think and Meryl Hanmer said the fees I paid her she can return this to me or I can hold it in their account for my next pleminary hearing dated for April 2023 I trusted her to hold the fees but since I didnt want to use her she did not return my fees. My solictor lost communication with me since Febuary 2023 to march 2023 without telling me or leaving auto messages on her email that she is away sick. She was very unproffestional and she returned 1 half week before my court dated leaving me with less time to prepare I decided to stop using slater and gordon and she kept all my money and charged me extra. I stood the pleminary hearing on April 2023 case myself and explained what my solcitor did, the judge was kind enough to rescedule my pleminary after 3hours conversation, the judge said my solictor paper work done by Meryl Hanmer did not make sense her work was not in topic either and re scheduled my case for October 2023. I stood my case and represented myself written my own witness statement myself and held my medical letter as evidence and was approved by the courts judge for my ACAS been presented 8months late I passed under 2010 equality act. Slater & Gordon solictor gave me false confidence I would not win but I did on October 2023. I always doubted their work as I had to correct few things but my god her paper work was knowledge of a child I still have the bundle she prepared me I made a better bundle myself after I passed the pleminary I don’t know why slater and gordon make their clients bundle so early its all for the money incase they don’t win the pleminary hearing. Judge tells you when to prepare the bundle after you pass and they give you 1month deadline. I am going to final court stages and I will come back if I have won again and update everyone as I am representing this case myself with my own knowledge no citizen help. I do not recommend this solcitor to anyone I will go in details why in my next review if I have to add on further details. I wasted couple of grands and a half for nothing. I had no time to appeal the second time with slater and gordon as it meant more paper work and less concentration with my April 2023 hearing. WORST SERVICE EVER DO NOT USE!

Was recommended this law firm as a company that are competence in relation to conveyancing and all the requisite legalities.
Hard to believe that this firm has any competency in any field of law. A simple task of exchange of contracts and liaising with mortgage lenders which should have taken a period of 10 working days was escalated ,to a period of more than one month due to the fact that this law firm is not on the approved panel of solicitors and insisting they were and incredibly poor communication, no sense of being considered a client, just a number. From dealing with Asead who is one of the principals and his other colleagues was informed everything in place , no issues with regards to completion. In all enquirers I was constantly.told everything is at hand , however far from the truth. Unable to provide or calculate a simple task of calculating daily interest. Their presentation of themselves and their law firm is one which in no shape or form would be indicative of a law firm which is licensed with the SRA.
I cannot in all honesty say anything other than a law firm I would not recommend in any shape or form.

This review is solely for Yasser Sarwar! Where do I begin?……I instructed this gentlemen 24-hours prior to the commencement of my court trial. Firstly, I would like to state, most lawyers will not take on a complicated litigation case at such short notice, it’s literally unheard of! Not only did he grasp my case, which has been brewing over the last 6months but he prepared for it meticulously. Even a qualified barrister with a vast amount of experience wouldn’t have measured up to Yasser. This man is Harvey Specter from the TV show Suits! The way in which he turned up, well prepared and went into that court room and turned things around has left me speechless. I am still in shock with the outcome. I call him the hybrid, as he is a solicitor but has rights to audience as a barrister would. My case was set for a two day trial but within 5hours, my case had concluded and I walked out with a payout which is double the amount I had anticipated. Admittedly, my case had so many deficiencies but this man done a complete 180 for me. He is reliable, honest and conducts his work with integrity! He advocated for me in such a way that’s unmatched and did his due diligence in making sure I came out with the best results and I did. During my litigation process I had come across a lot of solicitors/barristers, so I have been able to understand who is well versed in their profession. I have to say the attention to detail and the knowledge Yasser displayed was second to none. His prices are the best on the market I can promise you that. I have told him, I have signed up to a lifetime membership with him going forward! I cannot thank him enough!

I don’t want to review but I thought I should be doing it. Long story short i went to get solicitor signs on my son deed poll for change of name and there I was introduced by young man Afrasyab Younus who meant to deal my case. Initially he was seemed to me bit confused that what he is doing but at the end he signed and i took them back but few weeks after I hv got objections from deed poll office that they have required some more documents and signs from the same solicitor so I went back to see him again and there my actual experience started. By blaming just him, I would rather say the staff have no such professional dealing to how to communicate with clients, it took me 3 weeks to approached Mr Younus to do the rest of some paperwork which was due to his non availability though I had no choice to wait for him and at the end when I met him he told me to come back next week which I have specially booked my day off to see him but that day he didn’t turn up in office and the staff is still fail to contact me to respond. By this attitude with the clients, I don’t believe that anybody in that area are satisfied with them.

The initial assessment is not free £180 including VAT. in that assessment we went through the points for our side of the case and opposition. Mr Sarwar was happy to take on my case by opening a ‘file’ for £600. The total cost he was unclear of how much it would cost, I asked many times and all i got was an ambiguous answer.

I decided to ring a few other solicitors around. I tried my local Nicholas Brimble. My call was return by a very nice polite woman called Miss Virk. She spent 30 minutes on the phone to me explaining very clear all the procedure and costs, including digging out additional information for free. Just this free consultation alone saved me literally 10s of thousands of pounds.

I had come to Aman Solicitors for a spousal visa application. Naseer Ahmed handled the case with such professionalism and he always kept me updated on the process. Alhamdullilah the case was accepted in May. I highly recommend Naseer as a solicitor, he always gave advice when needed and kept me updated on what was happening as well as going through everything I needed throughly to ensure I had a strong case to give.

Even though it was hard, we got the outcome we wanted and with Naseer as my solicitor it was a smooth process from start to finish. There was no back and forth, no chasing, clear communications were made throughout the whole process and there were no problems.

Eloise stepped in half way through for the purchase of our first home due to the original appointed solicitor leaving the company. Without Eloise it wouldn’t have been possible to have our purchase completed by the strict deadlines put in place by the sellers, Eloise was efficient and acted in the quickest manner throughout the whole process. Her communication was amazing and updates regularly when requested. She answered all questions we had and gave us thorough detailed explanations as this is our first house purchase so was not 100% on the process.
