I’ve had a great experience at David Lloyd Birmingham. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and ready to help with anything you need. Specifically (Amy) I want to give her 100% customer service. The facilities are excellent and well maintained, making it a pleasure to train and relax here. One of the unexpected highlights is the community you meet fantastic business entrepreneurs and like-minded people, which makes it more than just a gym. Highly recommend!

David Lloyd Great Barr has a fantastic atmosphere, and the staff are a huge part of that. Mandy is warm, approachable, and always takes time to check in on members — it’s clear she genuinely cares. Nicky brings such professionalism and enthusiasm, whether she's leading a session or offering one-on-one support. And Craig is just brilliant — upbeat, encouraging, and really committed to helping people reach their fitness goals. Together, they create a community feel that makes working out something to look forward to. Highly recommend!

I signed up today with Jayda from the sales department. She was so friendly and helpful throughout the tour. She made me feel comfortable and ready to start my fitness journey. And Corie on reception was really welcoming on arrival! 5 star service and 5 star staff!!

I joined DL gym today and have to say Ethan, who showed me round was excellent. I had already decided to join before my visit, but wanted to be sure it was right for me. His professionalism, passion, knowledge, inter-personal skills and his overall likability, sealed the deal. I think David Lloyd gym is very fortunate to have him. I'm looking forward to this new gym experience and regaining my fitness. Thank you Ethan.

Booked for an induction / tour with Katie today. She is such a lovely person that is a credit to the David Lloyd group. Very informative tour of the facilities. Good gym......but there are few or no empty lockers available in men's changing room. Other members use these facilities as private lockers. Sometimes there are about 50 ppl there but no free lockers available. DL must pay attention to members needs and ensure the facilities are not misused. If this carries on then I will not renew my membership.
