I saw Dr Sam Smith (gastroenterologist) at this practice. The information on the website was clear and helpful and making an appointment was easy. The practice is nice and modern and the admin staff were polite, kind and helpful, both on the day and in subsequent days, when contacted on the phone. Dr Smith was very kind and attentive - I felt listened to - and was well to give me a diagnosis and prescribe medication. The report was sent to me the following day and was detailed and accurate. I would certainly recommend Midland Health and Dr Smith (although I hope I won't need to!!). Thank you, Midland Health.

*I recently had a consultation with Dr. Dawson for my 4-month-old daughter, and I couldn’t be more grateful.** He is a highly qualified and understanding pediatrician, with a wonderfully caring approach to little ones. My baby was calm and relaxed in his hands, which really shows how gentle and reassuring he is. I felt truly supported and well-guided as a parent — he took time to explain everything clearly and treated me as a partner in the diagnostic and treatment process. That made a huge difference. He made us feel completely at ease. I absolutely recommend Dr. Dawson and will definitely return to him whenever we need medical advice for our daughter.

We booked for my mother’s check-up and paid £85 in advance for a 15-minute appointment. When we arrived, the doctor was running 30 minutes late without the decency to inform us—completely unacceptable, especially after a long, busy workday!"

I want to say a massive thank you to Dr Pav Hare for her outstanding service. I came in for an appointment, and she instantly put me at ease and started gathering an extensive history and my current concerns. Throughout the consultation, she was well-articulate and remained highly professional, allowing me to trust her expertise as a patient. She deserves a 5-star rating for her service as she is one of the best GPs I have ever seen—a real gem to the team of Midland Health.

We recently saw Dr Prasad Nagakumar for a clinic appointment for our daughter. He was very professional and empathetic and listened to all our concerns and answered all our questions. The staff at Midland Health in Edgbaston clinic were fantastic and very welcoming. The children's waiting area was lovely and very clean and made my daughter feel at ease before her appointment.

From my personal experience, I am so grateful to be in a position where I was able to book a private assessment for diagnosing my ADHD with Dr Kudlur. Due to my circumstances, this prognosis required immediate action, whereas the NHS waiting lists for diagnosing adults can be multiple years in my area, from what info I have gathered. From my initial enquiry, to booking in for my first assessment, to official diagnosis, the process took approx. 4 weeks. I am now on medication to help me day-to-day, and have check-ups on a monthly basis to make sure the medication is the correct dosage for my needs as well as discussing any further concerns. Booking the appointments is incredibly quick, for example, my appointment earlier today was only booked yesterday afternoon. I count myself lucky if I am able to get my local GP to see me within the same week! I am six months into my journey so far, and I am able to understand and answer questions which I did not have the answers to previously. Everyone I have spoken to at Midland Health so far have been extremely helpful as well as accommodating to my needs, so it saddens me to see that others may not have had the same experience. In short, if you are able to afford this route for diagnosing something like ADHD or ASD a lot sooner than the current NHS waiting times, especially for adults, then I would highly recommend the team at Midland Health.

I have had two appointments with Dr Sam Smith, Gastroenterology and have been very happy with with my treatment and treatment plan, he was friendly and approachable which made me more comfortable to discuss any concerns. Overall very informative which has given me good knowledge of my diagnosis. The Clinic is bright with friendly staff and free Tea, Coffee and water available to help yourself. Easy to book a pre pay appointment online.
