Dr Persell is fantastic. Very understanding and takes a personal interest in his consultations. Very pleasant. I would recommend him to anyone. Getting through to actually talk with dr. Persell is like a going through a land mine field. His secretary might give the needed information, but it feels like you’re intruding in her day. And I have told her so twice!! And also added her phone attitude was bad. When I expressed maybe I should go somewhere else she didn’t skip beat and said I’ll send your records. I discovered via talking with dr Persell about the delay in PET. He was very gracious about explsinjbg the delay. I know he is out of town for awhile. That’s fine. But when I was asked did I want to leave a message for dr Persell, I stated my message. Secretary interrupted I’ll have him call you! - I was asking about my calling to the surgery scheduling date. During consultation he said give them a week to call me and if not hear from them call the following week. I did as he mentioned and scheduling had not heard of me.- so called as mentioned above. I asked would he call back - I was afraid it would just be her again- (?) (by this time I doubted he’d get the messsge.) her response was "I don’t know" (?!!) was she saying Dr Persell doesn’t call back? Again I would recommend dr Persell to everyone. But Dr Persell, your phone person needs phone etiquette training. I was very upbeat till I received attitude. I then explained what thought about hers. I hope oh how I hope that all phone calls are recorded. AGAIN DR. PERSELL IS VERY DOWN TO EARTH, UNDERSTANDING, TRUSTWORTHY, AND SKILLED I trusted him before my consultation and even more afterwards. Front window office assistants are super. But give phone secretary phone etiquette or better yet, let her hear herself and how she comes across.

I think he was professional, but not overly sensitive to me as an individual patient. My first time was not awful, but more of what to be expected of the examination would have been helpful to prepare for this visit. I understand he was swamped this day, but individualism still matters.

My doctor is Mr.Matthew Purcell, very intelligent ,informative,and accommodating. Answers all my questions without judgment or prejudice and made me feel comfortable talking about male things. My Grandmother Elizabeth Harris helped train him in his younger days so it's good to have good ppl like him still around.

Dr Purcell provided Excellent care. We appreciate his friendly expertise, and will recommend him to others!!

Dr Purcell is always great and he always find a way to make you laugh. I really appreciate him and the staff there at UCA
