I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the handling of a recent case, which concluded with a settlement of $5,000 after six years of litigation. The protracted nature of the proceedings, coupled with the ultimate settlement amount, is deeply concerning.

Initially, the firm projected potential court costs reaching into the thousands of dollars. However, despite the severity of the injuries, requiring shoulder surgery, the final offer from the opposing party was only $8,000 – an amount that seems insufficient given the circumstances. The lack of proactive engagement and ultimately, the underwhelming settlement, leads me to believe that the firm’s representation fell significantly short of acceptable standards.

I believe a more assertive legal strategy could have yielded a considerably more favorable outcome. For future legal matters, I plan to seek representation from Pond Lehocky in Alabama.

Typical big lawyer experience, have been given several dates to finalize case and none have been met. They are now just ignoring my calls. I recommend going with a smaller law firm if you do not want to be treated like a number! Just hopes this helps someone. There lies put me in a bind.

I went back with this firm because I had decent results with 2 cases… This third time I used them has been trash… had to initiate any interaction… had to get paperwork myself, although they charge for all this in thier settlement fee!!! Tried to have me take a low paying settlement.. in which I refused… And when it was time for the check… I was told the accounting department was backed up… so you got to wait forever to receive a check… Never using them again after this horrible experience!!!

This has to be the worst firm ever.. I’ve been trying to contact my attorney for more than a month and each receptionist that answers makes up lies and apologizes and see if they’re gonna escalate it and nothing is ever done. I asked everyone to run as fast as you can to one of the Small firms, I’ve experienced escalation after escalation emails and calls to my attorney and still as of yet no return call from my attorney nor his team. His reception is ghetto and very Hood. I’m an African-American myself and most of the people that answer this phone Seems to be Fresh out of jail.

I will always be endeited to Morgan and Morgan, everyone has been personably caring and extremely patient with me. They have calmed my nerves more than I care to admit and have definitely gone above and beyond. They are very thorough with the vast knowledge and resources they have. I reached out to this firm after reviewing their website, which suggested they handle diminished value claims. Based on that, I took the time to complete their online contact form with detailed case information. It became clear that no one actually reviewed the information I submitted until halfway through a conversation when I called.

The following day I got a voicemail asking me to call back, but the person who left the message spoke so unclearly that it was difficult to even understand what they were saying. They also called me twice the next day, which was a Saturday. When I finally called back on Sunday, the person I spoke with had no context for my request or the information I had already provided. Only midway through the conversation did they finally review my case details. After putting me on hold, they came back and told me that diminished value claims are not something the firm typically handles, and they referred me to the Alabama Bar Association.

Unfortunately, when I contacted the Bar Association, the voicemail box was full and I was unable to even leave a message.

This entire experience was frustrating and a waste of time. The website led me to believe they would help with diminished value, but the reality was very different. The lack of review of the detailed information I provided, the confusing communications, and the final dead-end referral left me disappointed. I would strongly encourage this firm to update their website to more accurately reflect their services and to improve their intake process so people don’t go through the same experience I did.

It only took 4 month to sign off on my settlement, Progressive paid me full amount of their cap. My attorney Matt Richardson and his staff did a FANTASTIC job. Matt and his staff were patient with me when I asked questions.Hopefully I will not have to use them again, but if I need to, I know who to call.

Attorney, Juan Ortega, with M & M is fierce. People usually don’t want an attorney because they aren’t that type of person or they feel its a unfair money grab (theft). Well, the insurance company is NOT your friend, They do NOT care about you or fairness. You have already suffered a loss and they want to prevent your recovery. They want you to just go away for the least amount they can. YOU NEED an attorney like Juan Ortega to force the other side to be fair. There nothing wrong with hiring a professional to navigate the complexity of legal affairs. We all use a surgeon when we have medical needs, why wouldn’t you use a skilled attorney? Yes, the attorney has a steep fee. But, the amount we collected even after the steep fee was many multiples of the original offer we had recieved. A good attorney protects you, fights for you, and wins much more than you might ever have been able to do on your own.

Felt like I was rushed to fill out the forms when i had questions to ask. When i asked about filling out my third party authorization i was told just fill out the forms. Don’t know if i made a good decision going with Morgan and Morgan. We’ll see how this case goes and i’ll give an update.
