Tough little escape room, really enjoyed it and finally managed to escape with an entire 7 mi utes to spare. Great hosts – thank you Alyssa. Nice you could take drinks in with you but not sure that helped us

The place was well located. The staff was so kind and quite involve creating an amazing environment. The games are for all ages and the difficulty was alright for an hour. I love it. Definitely will back with some friends. Well done team!!!
Sebastian Wagner

The Fourth Samurai room was amazing! Such a cool design (especially for a Japanese history nerd like me) and Samurai Mo was an excellent host. Just the right amount of helpful when our attempt was ever-so-slightly off. Thanks Mo!
Michael Watson

We had the most fabulous time here at escape hunt. We were a group of 4 and took on the room “our finest hour” this room was lots of fun and really well thought through! Definitely a challenge. When we came out we had so much fun we decided to be spontaneous and enter another room “the fourth samurai” which was very immersive and a fun room overall! The staff were lovely we had a blast speaking to them! Thank you for the experience!

Mo was genuinely amazing. Great host and even greater samurai . Would definitely recommend.

Met some friends on a night out not knowing what to expect. What a great place. We played darts and they helped coordinate the tournament.
The bar staff was extra attentive to needs. Offered great recommendations.
we had a fantastic night out.
Make sure you book in advance as this is a very popular venue.
Andrew Quintian

Great bar and dart games for a night out.
Service however is terrible, they got our food order wrong and added an extra pizza to our order which they removed (uneaten) but then charged us for at the end of the night.
Really annoyed / poor experience, it was 19 quid overcharge. It it hadn’t been for that it would have been 5 stars
Matthew Lusted

Amazing place. Thoroughly recommended. You’ll have so much fun. Great games, staff, beer and food.

We visited on Friday 30th of August 2024 just after lunch time. We were having a date day for my partner’s birthday.
We were greeted as soon as we walked in, which is such a lovely way to welcome guests. Upon checking in, the first host we met seemed so genuinely interested in talking to us, which was matched by all the hosts we came into contact with at the venue.
We were taken to our oche, and walked through how to play. Once we were set, we both commented on how gorgeous the decor was, how relaxed the hosts made us feel and the good vibe we already had for the place.
Games were straightforward, we really enjoyed demolition and snakes and ladders! The photo feature and action replay is amazing. What a touch! We are SO excited to receive ours some time today.
We had a few drinks including cocktails and they were all YUM! We were able to have an extension on our time as there was a small gap after us which was welcomed. I told the host that it was my partners birthday today, and to our surprise, two hosts came back with a warm ‘birthday brownie’ and sang happy birthday to my partner. Honestly, we are so impressed with the way the hosts treat the guests. So refreshing, so comforting and so impressive. The management must be extremely happy with their team! I can only apologise for not getting the names of the three we dealt with. I could give descriptions to help!
Anyway, when out time came to an end, we were packing up and taking a photo and one of the hosts saw, came over and offered to take on of us. Again, such an awareness of guests. I will say, the venue wasn’t empty, or quiet. There were plenty of other guests, demonstrating such investment in maintaining this great atmosphere!
We left wishing we had even longer and are talking about planning another visit to Birmingham to get some more Flight Club fun!
I hope this is seen by the hosts and that they know how impressed we are.

Such a fantastic venue with a great team we were greeted as soon as we came inside. Our host Raj was amazing and funny. Gave us a quick guide and the drinks started flowing. Our waitresses were so attentive, food came over hot and the portions were generous. Raj extended our time for an additional 45 minutes which was amazing!!! Already thinking about booking our next visit

We had a spectacular time at P&P and the brunch experience was fantastic (one of the best, if not the best we’ve ever experienced in Birmingham). And much credit to our wonderful hostess, Zee! Who made the experience what it was. She interactive, attentive, friendly, and always positive throughout, makes it an easy decision to return!
tanaka tiz

Nice place to sit and have a drink outside in the sun. I didn’t have anything off the food menu so can’t comment on that, but enjoyed a couple of beers overlooking the canal. Service was great. Drinks prices a little high, but expected with the location.
Dal

Such a lovely spot for bottomless brunch! The staff are very attentive and check up on you regularly. They are so friendly and make sure you have everything. Greesh was a fab host and ensure we had everything we needed and made sure we were topped up on drinks! Will definitely be back!
Nicole Carey

The breading on the underside of the fish was soggy and falling off onto the chips. It made it more difficult to eat as a result. It was otherwise tasty. It may have been because the fish was served on top of the chips. The curry was mildly spiced and a good combination of flavors. It was excessively noisy making conversation difficult. Perhaps some a noise absorbing panels would help.
Steven Fuller

Lovely meal at the Pitcher and Piano, excellent quality and value for money.
Excellent service by Zee, who was friendly, polite and very attentive! Will definitely come back.

We had an incredible time at Escape Hunt! We did Alice in Puzzleland and the experience was so much fun, but what truly made it exceptional were our hosts, Jay and Sanchez. From the moment we arrived, their energy, enthusiasm, and attention to detail set the tone for an unforgettable adventure.
Sanchez was engaging, funny, and made sure we were fully immersed in the storyline. Fully taking on impressions, hype and banter! His passion is obvious, and it added so much to the overall experience.
If you’re thinking about trying an escape room, make sure you book this one and ask for Jay and Sanchez if you can—incredible!
Thank you both (we were the group of six girls – “mushroom”!!

The Wild West escape room was thrilling, physical and mentally challenging. Our group of 5 all found it difficult yet enjoyable to seek light outside the doors. From the reverend act to the lasso levers, the fun endlessly streamed throughout the 55 minutes we took to work the train. Special thanks to Ari for helping us out with helpful hints near the end of our cowboy adventure. Overall a wonderful experience!

A lovely relaxing day. Decent value at £109 per person, with two treatments and a two course lunch. The staff were ALL friendly and welcoming which made up for the fact that some of the facilities could do with a bit of an upgrade (particularly some of the loungers and the hair dryers). Mona gives a very relaxing facial, she is not pushy with selling products, I highly recommend her. The lunch was delicious.
Leyanne J

Booked a spa day with 2 course lunch, fire and ice experience and a treatment included. Such good value for money. Even though there were so many cars there when I pulled up, the spa never felt overwhelmingly busy. Always a lounger available and only a handful of people in the pool each time. Loved the fire and ice experience, particularly the hydrotherapy pool. The food was delicious and the treatments were amazing. Will definitely be booking again!
Alexandra Harding

The hotel was lovely, but there were a few issues. The door handle was broken, which resulted in us being locked out of our room for half an hour. My partner had to go to the reception to inform them that we were locked out and to get help getting back into our room. We were told that maintenance would come to fix the problem, but no one ever showed up.
The spa was quite crowded, and there were limited areas for relaxation as it also serves as a members-only club. Consequently, the pool area was bustling with children engaging in playful activities and vocalizing with excitement.
I had scheduled a one-hour full-body massage with the expectation of a relaxing experience. Unfortunately, the therapist engaged in continuous conversation throughout the session, which hindered my ability to fully unwind. Additionally, the massage pressure was excessively deep, leading to swelling and subsequent nerve pain down one of my legs. Lastly, the evening buffet meal fell short of expectations and was disappointing.
The room was clean, and the staff made a thoughtful gesture by adding a balloon to the room in honor of our anniversary. Unfortunately, there were some aspects of my experience that were less than satisfactory.

Fantastic stay for a work xmas do. Dinner at the Ryder Grill was lovely and catered for our vegan members. Spa experience was great and so relaxing, lovely treatment by Safa. Breakfast excellent. Fantastic facilities, thank you for a great stay

Samira did a full body massage on me. I was living a dream! She was so gentle and patient, not rushing it. I loved every second of it. Recommend her 100%!! ||The hotel was really nice and clean, our dog had his own bed and bowls which was really nice!

First time visit and it was fantastic, saw Hamilton which was awesome…
Would definitely recommend coming to see a show here..

Came to treat the wife to an anniversary trip to see Hamilton. The staff were really polite and friendly and helpful, the venue is amazing and the price for goods from the concessions stand were a little pricey, but not excessively so. Will definitely be back.
Dave Proudfoot

First time visiting Birmingham Hippodrome, watched Hamilton and it was amazing the venue is brilliant easy to access and parking is great. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to watch a play. The staff were very helpful and professional, the amenities are easily accessible for everyone, one minor issue you will get a numb bum seats weren’t the most comfortable but having a break in the middle helps but still rate this place a 5.
Fiaz Saddique

What a lovely friendly place! I went with a friend to see The Nutcracker ballet. It was a ‘relaxed performance ‘, meaning it had adjustments for children and also adults with learning needs. The staff were very friendly and the ballet, excellent. Excellent orchestra too in a proper orchestra pit. Beautiful top quality sets and scenery. The signage to different seating areas was a bit confusing but there were lots of people to ask. Easy to get into the building. Large open bar areas. Clean loos. The actual auditorium is a traditional Edwardian possibly? space. Front of house however, is a modern, airy extension. It is in Hurst Street which is at the bottom of a straight street 5 minutes from New Street station. Large pedestrian-only square outside the theatre which is in China town.

Close to the airport and NEC. Lots of food to choose from. Shops for small presents. A bit of a minus is no possibility to store luggage (had to go to the hotel next door).
Jakob Masat

Great venue. Poor access to taxis though at end of night. Cost of drinks at £10 a pint excessive. Great light show. Boy G … ok ish

ODEON Luxe Birmingham Broadway Plaza is a top-tier cinema that takes your movie-going experience to the next level. The moment you step in, it feels like a treat—modern design, clean spaces, and an inviting atmosphere. The real magic happens inside the screens, though. Every seat is a luxurious recliner with plenty of legroom, so you can fully relax while watching. The sound and visuals are incredible—crisp and immersive, perfect for films like Moana 2. It’s a great place for families, couples, or even solo movie nights. Plus, their snacks and drinks selection is solid, from classic popcorn to more premium options. If you want comfort and quality for your cinema trips, this is the spot.
Ucha

Management need to manage their staff properly at main entrance. Got there 20 mins before my movie and nearly missed the intro. Only because they left one member of staff to sell tickets on a long queue for which it looked like she wasn’t to sure what she was doing as if it was her first day and they thrown her in the deep end with no help. Mean while there was like 7 people at the collections bit moving around like spaghetti some of them looked ideal.
Paparatc Vybes

Used to frequent this cinema a lot many years ago when it was still an AMC. Was pleasantly surprised at how much it’s been updated.
Watching a movie in isense with a decent screen, superb sound, & the recliners up is great. I think that even though there’s another Odeon a lot closer to my home, I’ll be going to this one more often for the premium screenings.
It’s worth noting there are many screens, and a lot of the others are most likely just basic ones, but I won’t be coming here for those, so I’m unable to comment on them. Also worth adding that the staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful.
I used the metro to visit, which stops nearby at Edgbaston Village, but there is a car park which is free for 3 hours if you get it validated here.
Dal

This is just one of my favourite cinemas that I visit with family, the nachos and popcorn os good. The seats are comfortable and overall the service is decent.
The toilets always seem to be dirty, never been and the toilets were actually clean. If they fix this, they probably get five stars.
Nandoosh

Premium formats here are probably some of the best in the country. The other screens are still good, but have a lot of flaws. If you don’t have limitless, I wouldn’t recommend coming here at all. Cineworld Broad Street, albeit without recliner seating, is just round the corner and is much cheaper. The experience here will also differ massively depending on what screen you are in.
Screens 2 and 3 are the premium formats, iSense and Dolby Cinema. The projector in iSense has had a significant drop in picture quality and contrast recently. The screen size and sound are still fantastic. Dolby Cinema is one of the best cinema formats I’ve ever seen a film in. The technical accuracy in the sound system and picture quality is unmatched and is truly outstanding.
Screens 1 and 4 are also located downstairs but are just standard screens. The picture quality can sometimes be a bit fuzzy and the brightness of the screen is a bit too dark, but once again the screen size makes up for it. Not as big as 2 and 3, but still very large compared to other cinemas.
All the other screens are upstairs. These screens are much smaller. The picture quality can be questionable just like the downstairs standard screens. Some of the upstairs screens are also not fitted properly and have ripples in the corner of the screen. Most of the seats upstairs also have rips in the leather armrests which feel horrible when you rest your arm on them. Lots of broken mini tables too. Despite being so modern and luxurious in its design, the entire place feels like it’s fallen into a slight state of disrepair. This is especially noticeable upstairs. The escalators are often broken too, and the lift feels proper sketchy. It’s also worth adding that Broadway Plaza isn’t located in the nicest of areas. There is always an air of hostility around the area. Definitely not somewhere I’d like to be at night.
If you can’t tell from this review, I come here a lot, and because of that I’ve seen all it has to offer. With all its flaws, I can only recommend the premium formats. Unless you have limitless, the standard screens are just not worth the money.

We have been going to this cinema monthly for about a year now and today was the most horrible experience. We took our little 6 year old big Sonic the hedgehog fan to watch the new movie. He was very excited. And he asked if we could get him the special Sonic cup with a topper. We literally spent 30 minutes in the queue behind just one couple with 2 kids. 30! minutes took them to make 2 slushes, 2 milkshakes and 2 nachos!!! That is unacceptable! But to top it off we did not get the cup because they have run out of the toppers!!!! There were no information available that they have run out and all the adverts around the tills were showing them as available to purchase! Shame on management who do not care! We even had to pass the info to other families standing with their kids in a queue wanting to get the nice cups with their favourite characters! Very disappointed little boy and the family!!!
Linda Grundsakmene

Yesterday i was sat in theatre 15 and it was absolutely atrocious. Underneath all the seats was popcorn and food and dirt, as well as some seats they didn’t even bother taking the bin bags off them. All over the seats they had stains on them and popcorn. It was extremely disgusting and off putting. Cinemas like this make me want to revert back to watching at odeon even though the prices are cheaper here the quality isn’t there. When they finally complained instead of noticing all the other dirt in the theatre and cleaning it they just got a young staff member to wipe the chairs down with dry tissue paper. This was extremely disappointing and made me want to leave the cinema immediately. Throughout the movie I felt thoroughly uncomfortable and disgusted. It was not only just the theatre that was atrociously dirty but also the outside. As soon as i stepped upstairs the movie theatres pungent smell attacked my nose and was extremely off putting. This immediately was a sign to go home. Overall I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed as the movie theatre was a place to enjoy yet now i won’t be returning and am absolutely horrified about their lack of hygiene and cleanliness.
Alaina Akram

Has spacious theatres and good food as well ( quite expensive though ). The screen size is fine and depends on which screen you watch the movie. However, the sound quality is average. Some are too loud and some are just too mild. It does not give you the best theatre experience, sound wise.
Allan Crown

I’ve consistently frequented Vue Cinema at StarCity in Birmingham, finding it consistently excellent. Its proximity and easy car access enhance the overall convenience. The numerous well-maintained screening rooms offer a diverse selection of movies. Payment options, both at the desk and online, provide flexibility. The punctuality of movie start times is commendable.
The facility maintains a high standard of cleanliness, with a welcoming entrance room featuring light architecture. The video and audio quality consistently meet expectations, providing a satisfying cinematic experience. The pricing structure remains reasonable, catering to various budget constraints.
The presence of a well-stocked bar, offering a variety of food choices such as popcorn, hotdogs, and nachos with diverse flavors, adds to the overall appeal. Vue Cinema at StarCity delivers excellent value for money. Appreciation extends to the team for their commitment to maintaining a thriving cinematic experience.
The Red Fox District - Cycling Workshop

They do not make fresh popcorn on site. We brought two boxes of popcorn and they were dry not sweet at all whatsoever and they were rubbery.
I’m still shocked at how awful the popcorn tasted. I’ve been to other cinemas and we’ve had fresh sweet popcorn made there and there on the spot. I literally saw the staff members bringing huge clear plastic bags full of popcorn and pour it into the glass container if I could give reviews, I would, complete waste of money buying popcorn from this place is best to take your own

Such a lovely place! We had a lovely time here 2 days in a row.
The night before our wedding we had a meal and drinks which were delicious and the atmosphere is just so unique and relaxing. It’s a beautiful place and so cosy. We loved all the plants and the rustic design of this gem next to the waterways in Birmingham
The staff were lovely.
As we went there after getting married too with our family they gave us their cookie dough mixer as a congratulatory gesture.
I highly recommend this place.

It was nice meeting with colleagues.
We only had drinks so I can’t say anything about the food. The service at the bar was fast but we where there at like 6pm so not busy yet.
The location looks very good and it worth some pictures.

Stunning view. I just grab a beer with friends. Will come back to try their food. Friendly staff and amazing atmosphere. The price is expensive, around £4 for half pint beer but worth it.
Highly suggest you to sit outdoor if weather is good.

This was a great location for a team lunch. The menu was pretty limited if you wanted the lunch option, but the lunch size kebabs were actually pretty spot o
n for about £9.50 including fries.
I think with a soft drink and the automatically applied tip, we ended up paying less than £14.50 per person.
I had the pork, and it was surprisingly flavourful. I’d order it again.
I can’t comment on the breadth of the menu. But it was definitely worth the trip.
The service was good. The decor was nice. Good scheme all round.

Food and service were exceptional. Thank you for the little extras that made my graduation celebrations extra special! Special thank you to Dory and Amber who were so attentive when serving us and to Tony in the kitchen for our delicious food. Highly recommend
