I’ve done a few escape rooms before, so I was really excited to see Escape Hunt right next to the hotel I was staying at.
I stopped by late in the evening, and the only game available was Excalibur, which Keith recommended. I’m glad he did…it was exciting, entertaining, and perfectly mind challenging.
Keith was fantastic throughout. He was professional, friendly, engaging, and his hints were spot on (sorry Keith for ringing the bell so many times!). He honestly made the whole experience even better.
If I could, I’d give this place 10 out of 5 stars. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back to try the other rooms!

We visited the Birmingham branch to try the Aladdin-themed escape room, and it did not disappoint! Our group of five, which included two children aged 10 and 12, had a brilliant time. The room was just the right level of challenging—engaging and thought-provoking, without being impossible. Our kids had a blast, and loved it. A shout-out to Jaycee, who really went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. His enthusiasm and fun nature made the experience even more enjoyable, and we couldn’t have asked for a better host. Highly recommend!

Not the first time we’ve visited, done all the rooms now apart from two of the new ones, Jamie got us all sorted and booked for an hour of mind games and Sanchez served us with a few drinks, every staff member I’ve come across at the location have been INCREDIBLE from start to finish. Sanchez guided us to our room and explained the back story for it, they’re just amazing at their job .. they get you really into the whole theme of the room you are about to enter, the help you get when your in the room is brilliant too because they really take their roles seriously! Always a pleasure to visit this location the staff is top tier! See you guys soon to try out Dracula ♀️ always a laugh when visiting here!

Jay was amazing, we came late around 9pm on the off chance of doing the doctor who escape room, luckily he got us in and was super enthusiastic and even helped us settle an argument of who was the best doctor! The experience was super fun and Jay was deffo a major factor in this! Thank you Jay! And he even helped out with the photos after!

Fantastic experience. Probably two of most inexperienced escapees but still had a blast. We would recommend the The Eye of the Sun God as it’s one of the easier rooms! Big shout out to Jay and Keith – two fantastic hosts that really immerse you in the experience! Couldn’t have made our impromptu date night any better!

The Executive Lounge appears to offer a unique entertainment experience in Birmingham, providing private rooms for activities like pool and snooker. Based on feedback, the quality of the rooms seems variable; it’s advisable to inquire about the size and condition of a room prior to booking, especially if you require ample space for playing. A focus on room maintenance and providing essential equipment like chalk would enhance the overall customer experience.
The service itself seems to be a key differentiator, with reports of a welcoming and helpful staff. The availability of attentive and personalized service can significantly impact enjoyment, making visitors feel valued. Continued efforts to ensure a consistently high level of hospitality would likely result in repeat bookings and positive word-of-mouth referrals. Prioritizing cleanliness is also important.

Booked a basic pool table room. The room was too small in comparison to the table couldn’t fully extend cues to play on the left and right sides of the table. Ruined the experience. Also no chalks. Cues have rubber tips. Not comfy for accuracy. I believe the larger rooms are better, although costly.

We had a fantastic experience at The Executive Lounge The manager and a lovely lady named Ruby were incredibly kind and welcoming. Their service was top-notch — friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. I would definitely give their service a 10/10. I’m really looking forward to coming back again with my family. Highly recommended!

If you want a good game of snooker then avoid this place at all costs. The table had food crumbs on it, the snooker table carpet has tears and lumps, some of it had been stitched together because it was ripped so you couldn’t play a decent game here. Some of the cues were bent and were bad quality, you take a shot and the end of the cue would wobble like a spring. The carpet floor has chewing gum stuck to it and there were fries on the floor. Bin was overflowing with takeaway containers and bags. Hygiene was really poor. The private room was not cleaned beforehand we used it, I think they just sprayed air freshener before we went in. Even the snooker balls had stains on them. Chairs were old and had stains on them too.

The girl working here was incredibly rude and unprofessional. She spent the whole time on her phone, didn’t smile, and looked completely uninterested in helping. From the way she’s used as more of a marketing tool on social media than an actual employee, it just comes across as embarrassing. She definitely didn’t give off any “girls’ girl” energy either. The concept of this place is good, but staff like her ruin the experience.

I had the most incredible experience at the Lush Spa in Birmingham hands down the best spa treatment I’ve ever had (and I’ve been to many spas all over the world!). Lydia was absolutely amazing, so kind, warm, and welcoming. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at ease.
The entire team were just as lovely, genuinely kind, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. It was so refreshing to be in a spa where you’re treated like more than just a client!
The treatment itself was perfection, and the spa space was beautiful, spotless, and so calming. Even the little touches. like the refreshments after were so thoughtful and really added to the experience.
A huge thank you to Lydia and Sandra for making my visit so special. I would 100% recommend the Lush Spa Birmingham to anyone, it’s a real gem and the perfect spot to make a day out with lunch and shopping!

My fiance bought me the virgin experience for two, so I took my friend for a much needed break. We went in excited and left basically floating after the sea themed 30 minute session! Krystel and Sandra were lovely going through everything and checking on us all the way through! We’ll definitely be coming again’

I had the most incredible experience with The Spell treatment at Lush. I want to express my heartfelt thanks to Sam, who made the entire session feel truly magical.
This was more than just a physical treatment it felt deeply spiritual. Sam’s soothing voice, the way he explained everything so gently and calmly, and his phenomenal touch during the massage all made me feel completely relaxed and cared for.
The music that surrounded the room completed the experience — it was like being transported to another world.
It was so amazing, I honestly feel like a part of my soul was healed.
Thank you, Sam, for such a beautiful, unforgettable experience.

Delighted with my visit to the Lush Spa. I walked out feeling rejuvenated and very relaxed. Living with chronic pain and muscle tightness can be tough, finding ways to relieve that pain can be even harder. I will definitely be coming back for another massage, I will be trying a more targeted approach to the lumps and bumps. Massive thank you to Becca for making me feel so at ease and explaining every step of the way.

Had a fantastic spa treatment at the Birmingham store yesterday. The Birmingham Lush store was recommended to me by one of the staff at the Northampton Lush store. I opted for The Spell, because the treatment was focused primarily on the feet, and included a scalp massage also. The whole experience was incredibly relaxing. Sam was very friendly and explained how the Spell treatment worked, going over which products they would be using in the treatment as well. As said, the whole experience and the treatment itself were incredibly relaxing. I would certainly recommend this treatment if you enjoy foot/scalp massages; or if you have a specific worry that you want to “cast away”. The massages Sam did were superb – I must have dozed off multiple times throughout the treatment! 100% would recommend.

Had THE most incredible Synesthesia full body massage with Sandra. I’ve been fortunate enough to have visited twice now and had her for my fresh facial and this massage.
She is the most incredibly compassionate, knowledgeable and wonderful lady. Really makes the whole experience feel just magical.
Now I know there’s 12 options for this massage, each being bespoke to a word of affirmation, I will be having them all over a period of time. Today I chose ‘Hope’.
The extra gift of Sleepy shower gel for my birthday was a really wonderful touch. Thank you! Next time, I will be asking for Sandra by name ❤️

Really great theatre.
Plenty of toilets, so queues move quickly.
Lots of space front of house while waiting to go in.
Comfy seating, and leg room not too bad.
Had an incredible view from row B of the circle.
Very expensive though compared to other non-London theatres.

Ive been going here since I was little (in the 80’s!). It is one of the best theatres we have ever been too. Staff ate friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The lobby is nicely laid out and easy to navigate. Ordering and getting pre-theatre and interval drinks is straightforward.
I am a wheelchair user so had to make contact in advance of my booking to check various details. Staff were always very helpful accommodating.
The only downside I would add, is that in the auditorium the material on the seats in a bit rough (especially on bare legs or tights), and the seats are too tightly packed in, so there isn’t any leg room (less than an aeroplane!). So it feels very cramped in. Not enough to put me off, but I really do hope they can do something about it at some point soon.

Practically Perfect in Every Way – A Jolly Holiday at the Birmingham Hippodrome!
For my delightful mother-in-law’s 87th birthday, we took a most enchanting outing to the Birmingham Hippodrome to see Mary Poppins – and what a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious evening it was!
Parking was no trouble at all, thanks to the conveniently located Palisades car park. I simply dropped my dear wife at the front door, zipped off, and was back quicker than you can say “spit spot!” – well, about ten minutes, but who’s counting?
The bar area, while most pleasant in décor and atmosphere, was a tad short on perches for the weary. A glass of wine will set you back £10, but as they say, a spoonful of spending helps the evening go down – and one can take their tipple into the theatre, which is rather civilised.
Our seats were in the middle circle – and oh, what a view! Thanks to the steepness of the seating, every chimney sweep and kite-flying moment was perfectly visible. It truly made for a marvellous vantage point, though the climb did prove a bit of a challenge for my dear mother-in-law. Those steps are quite the workout, even for someone not yet into their late eighties.
As for the performance itself – it was practically perfect in every way! The cast, the music, the staging – all simply superb. Mary flew, Bert danced on the ceiling, and the magic never stopped. A tip-top production that left us all humming on the way home.
All in all, the evening was a five-star experience, and a most magical way to celebrate a special birthday. If you’ve the chance to go, don’t delay – snap up a ticket before the wind changes!

Attended Man in the Mirror at Symphony Hall and had a fantastic experience. The venue was spotless, the seats were comfortable with a great view and the staff were incredibly friendly and accessible, which made the evening even more enjoyable.

I recently attended their sports-themed concert and was absolutely blown away. The energy, the atmosphere, and the creativity of blending classical music with sports anthems were truly outstanding. The orchestra was phenomenal, bringing to life the excitement and passion of the sporting world through music.
The venue itself is stunning, with excellent acoustics and comfortable seating. Staff were friendly and helpful, making the entire evening even more enjoyable. I loved how they incorporated the theme throughout the show, from the music selections to the visual effects, creating a truly immersive experience.

Another fabulous visit to the symphony for a Fri night Kim Wilde and her band supported by Cutting Crew. We sat lower circle left ledge just in front of stage (seats 11&12), great view. Bar and toilets a short stroll. Staff checking tickets and guiding you to your seats were great as usual. No fuss quick entry. Comfortable stand alone seats. Easy parking at nearby Mail box with Q Park and safe walk along canal with eateries and bars in Brindley Place.

First time at this venue and was amazed at the interior space, it’s huge and quite futuristic. The actual concert hall has excellent acoustics which is the most important thing for me. No standing, but virtually everyone stood up for the main band. We sat on a balcony so had an excellent view of the stage.
Gentle ramps everywhere, easy access to toilets so very disabled friendly, the bar has a dedicated counter so people with mobility issues don’t have to queue, a very welcome feature. The Staff are friendly and polite.
Limited free bookable disabled parking in a secure gated area with level access into the venue. This is adjacent to the canal and short distance from the Black Sabbath bridge. We would definitely go there again.

Went to watch Kim Wilde in the Symphony hall, Access to the hall was very easy, once inside and in the correct zone we were shown to our seats. The view was very good especially as we were in the back row of the balcony. Sound quality was good too, seats were comfortable. Getting out was easy as well. Getting to and from the venue, from the city centre, is just a tram ride away, the stop you need is The Library. So would I go back again Yes I would, great venue.

We did the Fun House escape room at Exciting Games Birmingham and had such an amazing experience! From the start, the lady who looked after us was absolutely brilliant – so friendly, thorough, and explained everything really well. She gave us just the right amount of help when we asked, and was such a pleasant host throughout.
The game itself was so much fun – clever puzzles, great atmosphere, and it kept us thinking right until the end. The location is also super convenient, only about a 4-minute walk from the train station.

Rosies – Birmingham seems to consistently face issues regarding its door staff. Reports suggest a lack of proper training leads to inconsistent enforcement of entry policies, and concerningly, sometimes aggressive interactions with patrons. The atmosphere could be enjoyable, however, the experiences shared indicate a need for significant improvements in staff conduct and management of patron safety.
The club’s reputation is unfortunately marred by allegations of deceptive practices, particularly concerning promotional offers. It appears entry fees are not always honored as advertised, leading to frustration and a perception of unfairness. It’s vital that the venue prioritizes transparency and establishes reliable communication to avoid misleading customers and foster customer trust.

I had such a bad experience yesterday at Zinc, at Rosies last night. I went out to have a drink opposite Rosies and wanted to go back to Zinc as my kizomba social usually finishes at 4 am. It was exactly 3.04 and the bouncer told me I’m not allowed to go it anymore. I asked why and he said it’s bar’s policy. I had to ask a friend to take my stuff with them as I wasn’t even allowed to get my stuff back. He was rude and raised his voice at me as I was just trying to resonate with him. Not a good night unfortunately

The bouncers were completely untrained in their approach to “safety” Having an adult grab a young girl by the throat isnt a great look on you rosies. Was watching some people get kicked out at around 3am and it escalated very fast and security got physical very quickly.

SCAM!!!!
Given a promotion voucher for £4 entry, got there and charged £10!!!! to get in because ‘the vouchers aren’t working’
Absolute scam targeting vulnerable young people out drinking, got to be illegal / definitely dodgy!
Beware if you’re using vouchers from people off the street to get in – also poor workers expecting commission but getting nothing if their vouchers aren’t being used??
AVOID…

I’ve been coming to this club for years and always make a point of saying hello to the security staff on my way in. Unfortunately, my recent experience has completely changed the way I see this place.
While waiting in line, one of the security guards asked who I was with. I explained that my friends were already inside, but he told me there was no solo entry and said I’d have to leave. I tried to clarify again, but he ignored me. When I said “yo excuse me,” he snapped back, telling me not to speak to him like that.
At that point, another staff member who usually stands out front stepped in. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, he repeatedly told me that if I didn’t like what the security guard said, I should just go somewhere else. The way he spoke came across as dismissive, like he wasn’t interested in hearing me out at all.
What really stood out was how he kept smiling while speaking to me, as if he found the situation amusing. Then he started looking at me like I was the problem, speaking down to me in a way that felt very condescending and looking at me like I was crazy.
When I asked him about it and why hes smiling, he simply said “that’s how I speak to people.” I told him directly that if that’s how he speaks to people, then he’s not representing the establishment well
For me, the issue isn’t just the no solo entry policy it’s the way it was handled. Instead of showing any professionalism or respect, I was spoken down to and dismissed you could tell he couldn’t even be bothered to speak to me, as though my respect and loyalty to the club meant nothing. And everytime I tried to come to a understanding he kept telling me if i got problems with the security guard go somewhere else. So that’s exactly what I’ll do
The funny thing is ive had numerous conversations with this guy over the years at the club and been respectful but its clear respect means nothing to the people at rosies they care more about having a security guards back then trying to understand and speak to there customers who support the business absolute shame
Be careful as they’re the kind of security guards that will protect eachother even if they are wrong they could careless about the paying customer
I’ve supported this place for years, brought countless friends, and promoted it heavily to others. But after being treated in such a disrespectful and unprofessional way, I no longer feel welcome. Sadly I won’t be returning.

If there was an option for zero stars, this place would deserve even less.
My night at this so-called “nightclub” was nothing short of appalling. From the moment we arrived, we were met with the most unprofessional, arrogant, and downright hostile staff I’ve ever encountered.
The doormen behaved like power-tripping security guards at a prison gate—condescending, cold, and completely full of themselves. They acted as if letting people in was some kind of exclusive privilege they were bestowing upon the unworthy masses. When we approached, they barely looked at us, muttering snide comments under their breath, laughing amongst themselves like a bunch of high school bullies on a power trip.
We came dressed properly, excited for a night out, and had already paid £30 each for entry. But the staff made it clear we weren’t welcome. No explanation. No reasoning. Just the most dismissive and infuriating response: “It’s just how it is tonight.”
That’s not a policy—that’s an insult.
When we tried to get clarification, we were talked over, mocked, and ignored. One staff member even rolled his eyes and walked away mid-conversation like we were beneath him. The attitude was so disgusting, I honestly can’t remember the last time I felt so deliberately disrespected in a place that calls itself a business.
This wasn’t just bad service—it was blatant arrogance, unprofessionalism, and a complete lack of human decency. It was like they took pride in ruining people’s nights.
Avoid this place at all costs. There are hundreds of better venues where you’re actually treated like a paying customer instead of a nuisance. I will never set foot near this joke of a nightclub again, and I strongly advise anyone with self-respect to do the same

We all (12) had the most amazing time at Rosie’s. We booked our VIP area for the afternoon disco and were very well looked after by the amazing team of staff. Thank you for a fantastic day.

It was a really good show from the Dreamboys. And they were all nice and were respectful of boundaries especially that I was not that very comfortable since I wasn’t used to that kind of show. But my friends and I had a blast. Special mention to Chambers for being extra kind and polite. Thank you!

We had an amazing time in Room 13! Stuart was very friendly and roleplayed excellently while we were in the room, it really added to the experience. The room was very atmospheric and the puzzles were fun but challenging. We didn’t quite finish but Stuart explained the remaining parts of the room which was fascinating. Great experience!

Just completed Dr Watson’s Office and absolutely loved it. Had to ask for 3 clues but still feeling pretty chuffed. Stuart was fab and stayed in character throughout the clues. Such great fun! Highly recommended.

Had a great time here for my mum’s hen do! Package was great with drinks beforehand, and the casino room was great because we were guaranteed to escape, just a question of with how much money! Lovely staff and a great room – one of my favourites and I’ve probably done 30+ escape rooms.
