At first glance, man this place has so many cool things to do! They are VERY well decorated and have lots of fun eateries. They have outside and indoor eateries, and they have an arcade and an escape room. However, that’s about where the praise stops… We came here from a nearby hotel to eat dinner. It was a short walk, the lake was pretty.
We chose Zizzi’s as it looked like a fun Italian choice (we later learned this place was a chain restaurant, so that was a bummer). I’ll write up my restaurant reviews in detail on their pages instead, but in short, the places we ate all all seemed to be short staffed, in a rush, and not very open to service. We ate at Karaage also. Everything was pretty overpriced, especially when we considered the escape room option. They have a ‘sky garden’ that wasn’t very impressive. And being an American visitor, I was eager to try anything but American cuisine, but half of what Resorts World offered was American cuisine. Overall I wouldn’t recommend Resorts World, but if you’re staying at the Hilton nearby, boy, this place really is your only dinner option.

A must-visit shopping destination in Birmingham!
Resorts World Birmingham is my go-to destination for shopping, dining, and relaxing all in one place. The variety of stores is fantastic — from big-name brands to unique local shops — and everything is easy to navigate. It offers a great selection of shops with something for every taste and budget.
There are many different restaurants offering something for everyone, but the sky bar is definitely a must-see. Parking is convenient and the facilities are spotless. It’s the perfect place to spend the day

Good day out with family There is good shopping outlets which are good compared to many I have been to We stayed the night at Genting hotel as well.
Just make sure you if you travel by train to arrive, depart during business hrs to walk through the nec centre otherwise its a long walk round the outside adding 30min to your step counter
There is restaurant, bowling, games inside
I was surprised there was not kids boats to play with on the lake

It’s ok if you live near by but for me it hasn’t got enough shops, also it doesn’t have a Ralph Lauren.
They have a new food court which is better than they had before but again not enough choice for me.
Plenty of parking but at the weekends it does get busy.

Great shopping experience and surprisingly great products..
I’ve never really thought of Sketchers when I very occasionally buy trainers but these were to tempting to pass up
We came in for womens trainers and left with an extra 2 pairs for me
Great hospitality from the 2 team members today… Very helpful and patient with the mother in law
I think it was Dwain who served me a a female colleague that served my wife and Mom.
Will definitely recommend Sketchers now I’ve tried them for myself.
Good job today guys….Thank you

Located near Birmingham airport. The shopping options are not exciting.
I visited for Cineworld IMAX. There are numerous eateries. Branded ones and enough sitting area. The small lake near the location is scenic. Parking spaces are numerous. No need to enter the city if visiting from South side.

It’s OK.. unfortunately not many shops so if you want a few bits and don’t want a busy shopping mall.
However the highlite was the sky bar . Good choice of drinks and great staff !! Although quiet on our visit it can get very busy when shows are on or at weekends .
Great view over Nec and lake from out side balcony where you can relax with your alcoholic beverage

This is our go to Casino, been coming here for a good few years now. Never had a single issue with any of the staff including the door staff. Win or lose we have a good time. The slot hosts are great by the way. Lovely clean and a nice place to have a bit off down time.
Keep up the good work

Very rude manager and receptionist, having had a reserve card and money removed from a slot machine whilst having a meal in the casino bar. We had family from USA with us on their first visit to a Genting casino who were dismayed at the attitude of these 2 people. We are regular customers and love our visits, the staff have always been very helpful and friendly except for these 2 characters, We are so disappointed with Genting and sadly will no longer visit the casino or recommend it to anyone else

Awesome big casino at the Birmingham airport! You can feel great atmosphere inside. Interiors and everything really looks like Vegas casinos. Large card room open 4pm-6am. You can play practically everything there. Part of the casino is stylish sports bar and restaurant. Worth a visit!

Stayed at the Hilton last week for a tech show.
A group of 10ish, headed over to use the bar and games.
I have used many casinos in many countries for 20+ years and am a member of Gentings. This was asked and confirmed at the door upon entry, standard.
I must offer a thanks to the staff on the cash desk who persuaded me not to spend any money in the establishment. Their conduct was the opposite of my expectations. Short, flippant, patronising, miserable, sarcastic.. I appreciate that it might not be the most glamorous or well paid job, I expect a fair few drunks or frustrated gamblers are encountered too.
Still, at least pretend to care about your job!
Thanks again, it saved me a few quid and most of the others I was with as we just bought another round of beers rather than hit the tables. I’ll avoid in future too, being a creature of habit and all that.
Thank you.

Oh boy, where to begin…
So after taking a show at the BP Pulse last night, my wife and I decided to go and check out the casino. After being on our feet most of the night, my wife’s struggles to stand. We approached the door staff who allow us to enter. My wife, who is disabled, began to walk into the casino. We are then abruptly stopped and refused entry based on my wife who very slightly wobbled, with claims of being drunk.
We tried to explain about her disability, and the staff were not interested.
After asking for the manager, we are told we cannot see them.
We managed to get an email address, and have complained directly, yet still waiting on a reply.
I went back to speak to the door staff and asked for the name of the security who refused entry only to be told get off the premises now, and he refused to give his name.
Needless to say, this ruined a perfectly good night.
I recommend you avoid at all costs, least you be treated as poor as my wife.
Terrible, terrible security staff.

Based on observations, the facility maintains a clean and secure environment, providing patrons with updated machines and a comfortable space. The atmosphere suggests a dedicated effort to ensure a pleasant visit for those seeking entertainment and a chance to win.

This location is worth consideration for those seeking a gaming destination with a focus on a well-maintained and welcoming setting. FYI… Don’t waste your time going here. It is a long wait to even get your card as a member. They have two older senior citizens working in the front desk and the lady with the short week is terrible with service a attitude problem. I don’t even know why they have her at the front desk. Don’t waste your time coming here. It was a terrible experience. They do not honor first time persons with $50… I’m giving you a heads up this place is awful. I had the worst experience ever ever ever ever ever don’t come to this place

I read all the bad reviews and I had to see for myself. This was my first visit and I have been to all the casinos in Alabama. I must say I was surprised – it was clean, secure, good new games and the people were nice and polite. Maybe all the changes have taken place. 777 Birmingham deserves another look!

Needs a LOT of work! With all of the money they are taking in, and not paying out, there is no sense in it being like this. And the payout system is weird, nothing like Wind Creeks system. Roads, parking lots, atmosphere…what happened! Pull it together, whoever owns it. Could be a nice casino with some internal investment.

Gave it 3 stars because I didn’t go into the casino itself. I went here for the “Birmingham State Fair” which was absolutely a rip off. It was the size of a church parking lot Fair and overpriced with very little to do. Total fake advertising!
*again, I don’t know much about the casino itself. Seemed OK. Not too busy on a Monday afternoon.

It was our first time going and our last !
Food menu awful
Games dont pay
We witness how a few workers took advantage of older people .
It was awful ….. if we could give it a minus 0 , we would.
The only worker that was nice they we made contact with was the guy making the food. It was not his fault . He cooked what he had.
As we talked to a few people and walked around we noticed how a few workers were playing games and funny some were family members of the workers and they were hitting the jackpots …. . UNBELIEVABLE
Its was beyond awful . It was 6 of us
2 won 100. 4 lost what we brought to play with plus our player card that was 25.00 .

If you’re considering going to this place, don’t. Very few workers, we were in line almost a hour just to get a players card. Security is almost non existent, if you’re familiar with the area this is HUGE. Only food available is a concession-esk stand. The cocktail was not drinkable, so bad I threw it in the garbage.
We were accused of being racist just for asking if an elderly man with a cane, who looked very confused was ok. The lady, who accused us as such was a worker there. She got very loud and irate with us and I swear to God all my brother did was ask the man if he was ok. I will avoid this like the plague and advise all of you reading this to do so as well.

The receptionist, a male, was extremely rude, particularly towards individuals of Chinese and African descent, displaying what seemed to be racial discrimination, which was shocking. Their other branches are much better than the one in Birmingham.

shame of an establishment. pretty sure every member of staff has been trained differently, one let an account be made using an irish age card as a form of id (highly reliable and very trusted form of id) then we went in today to celebrate my friends birthday and her account had been fully suspended because her id is apparently to easy to be faked – the very id they let her make the account with in the first place and has used plenty of times before. put a very abrupt and unfortunate end to our night due to miscommunication between staff. what makes an irish id easier to be faked than any other nationality??? Merkur Slots – Birmingham New Street offers a generally pleasant atmosphere. The recent refurbishment has noticeably improved the interior, giving it a more contemporary feel. The availability of complimentary drinks and snacks is a nice touch, and staff are often described as friendly. The variety of gaming machines available is a positive point for many visitors.

Admiral Casino on Birmingham High Street offers a decent, if somewhat inconsistent, gambling experience. The venue itself is generally clean and well-maintained, with a good selection of slot machines catering to different preferences. However, several customers have reported issues with staff attitudes, suggesting a need for improved training and a greater focus on customer service.
While the presence of older, coin-paying machines is a welcome touch for those seeking a nostalgic feel, a key area for improvement lies in staff professionalism. Addressing concerns about a perceived lack of friendliness and a stricter adherence to rules would elevate the overall experience and make it more welcoming to a wider range of visitors. Enhanced staff interaction is essential.

Great atmosphere and amazing to see you have kept a small amount of refurbished older machines that pays coins, I respect you for that it keeps that classic arcade feeling going. Although the staff were friendly they where a little on the ‘militant’ side with following rules and this didn’t come across well with customers. This branch seemed extremely busy, I’m surprised why its not 24 hours opening at such a prime busy location when you have Mercur and many other casinos nearby who are rammed at night time. Overall a nice branch.

I walked in for 1st time ever, had trouble with a poker machine,,was told rudely by a young member of staff that was reluctant to help me that I must be at fault.
I won’t go there again
Im 60 and wouldn’t recommend gambling as a career move. Okay

Me and my husband have visited on a few occasions and found the team to spend the majority of their time gossiping at the front of the venue with no regard for service, and to top it off, the security guard (caucasian male) that works there regularly spends the majority of his time sitting on the gaming chairs either gossiping with the team members or watching customers game play.
