Rosies - Birmingham
Rosies - Birmingham seems to consistently face issues regarding its door staff. Reports suggest a lack of proper training leads to inconsistent enforcement of entry policies, and concerningly, sometimes aggressive interactions with patrons. The atmosphere could be enjoyable, however, the experiences shared indicate a need for significant improvements in staff conduct and management of patron safety.
The club’s reputation is unfortunately marred by allegations of deceptive practices, particularly concerning promotional offers. It appears entry fees are not always honored as advertised, leading to frustration and a perception of unfairness. It’s vital that the venue prioritizes transparency and establishes reliable communication to avoid misleading customers and foster customer trust.

I had such a bad experience yesterday at Zinc, at Rosies last night. I went out to have a drink opposite Rosies and wanted to go back to Zinc as my kizomba social usually finishes at 4 am. It was exactly 3.04 and the bouncer told me I'm not allowed to go it anymore. I asked why and he said it's bar's policy. I had to ask a friend to take my stuff with them as I wasn't even allowed to get my stuff back. He was rude and raised his voice at me as I was just trying to resonate with him. Not a good night unfortunately
The bouncers were completely untrained in their approach to "safety" Having an adult grab a young girl by the throat isnt a great look on you rosies. Was watching some people get kicked out at around 3am and it escalated very fast and security got physical very quickly.
SCAM!!!! Given a promotion voucher for £4 entry, got there and charged £10!!!! to get in because ‘the vouchers aren’t working’ Absolute scam targeting vulnerable young people out drinking, got to be illegal / definitely dodgy! Beware if you’re using vouchers from people off the street to get in - also poor workers expecting commission but getting nothing if their vouchers aren’t being used?? AVOID…
I’ve been coming to this club for years and always make a point of saying hello to the security staff on my way in. Unfortunately, my recent experience has completely changed the way I see this place. While waiting in line, one of the security guards asked who I was with. I explained that my friends were already inside, but he told me there was no solo entry and said I’d have to leave. I tried to clarify again, but he ignored me. When I said "yo excuse me," he snapped back, telling me not to speak to him like that. At that point, another staff member who usually stands out front stepped in. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, he repeatedly told me that if I didn’t like what the security guard said, I should just go somewhere else. The way he spoke came across as dismissive, like he wasn’t interested in hearing me out at all. What really stood out was how he kept smiling while speaking to me, as if he found the situation amusing. Then he started looking at me like I was the problem, speaking down to me in a way that felt very condescending and looking at me like I was crazy. When I asked him about it and why hes smiling, he simply said "that’s how I speak to people." I told him directly that if that’s how he speaks to people, then he’s not representing the establishment well For me, the issue isn’t just the no solo entry policy it’s the way it was handled. Instead of showing any professionalism or respect, I was spoken down to and dismissed you could tell he couldn't even be bothered to speak to me, as though my respect and loyalty to the club meant nothing. And everytime I tried to come to a understanding he kept telling me if i got problems with the security guard go somewhere else. So that's exactly what I'll do The funny thing is ive had numerous conversations with this guy over the years at the club and been respectful but its clear respect means nothing to the people at rosies they care more about having a security guards back then trying to understand and speak to there customers who support the business absolute shame Be careful as they're the kind of security guards that will protect eachother even if they are wrong they could careless about the paying customer I’ve supported this place for years, brought countless friends, and promoted it heavily to others. But after being treated in such a disrespectful and unprofessional way, I no longer feel welcome. Sadly I won’t be returning.
If there was an option for zero stars, this place would deserve even less. My night at this so-called "nightclub" was nothing short of appalling. From the moment we arrived, we were met with the most unprofessional, arrogant, and downright hostile staff I’ve ever encountered. The doormen behaved like power-tripping security guards at a prison gate—condescending, cold, and completely full of themselves. They acted as if letting people in was some kind of exclusive privilege they were bestowing upon the unworthy masses. When we approached, they barely looked at us, muttering snide comments under their breath, laughing amongst themselves like a bunch of high school bullies on a power trip. We came dressed properly, excited for a night out, and had already paid £30 each for entry. But the staff made it clear we weren’t welcome. No explanation. No reasoning. Just the most dismissive and infuriating response: "It’s just how it is tonight." That’s not a policy—that’s an insult. When we tried to get clarification, we were talked over, mocked, and ignored. One staff member even rolled his eyes and walked away mid-conversation like we were beneath him. The attitude was so disgusting, I honestly can’t remember the last time I felt so deliberately disrespected in a place that calls itself a business. This wasn't just bad service—it was blatant arrogance, unprofessionalism, and a complete lack of human decency. It was like they took pride in ruining people’s nights. Avoid this place at all costs. There are hundreds of better venues where you're actually treated like a paying customer instead of a nuisance. I will never set foot near this joke of a nightclub again, and I strongly advise anyone with self-respect to do the same
We all (12) had the most amazing time at Rosie’s. We booked our VIP area for the afternoon disco and were very well looked after by the amazing team of staff. Thank you for a fantastic day.
It was a really good show from the Dreamboys. And they were all nice and were respectful of boundaries especially that I was not that very comfortable since I wasn’t used to that kind of show. But my friends and I had a blast. Special mention to Chambers for being extra kind and polite. Thank you!
