Canine Scentwork Training Academy

We have adored the online content (and any training) Mandy provides! Her knowledge and joy is evident. Our little sausage went to Mandy's classes but when we moved it was just too far. To be able to continue the scentwork journey is much appreciated. You can do the modules at your own pace. It’s a wealth of ideas to engage your dog, wonderful in this heat. We have found it builds such a great bond, and she is exhausted after too!

I highly recommend Mandy and The Scentwork Academy! We attended the beginners workshop, and my dachshund had a fantastic afternoon. We learned so much and came away with plenty of tips and techniques to practice. Everyone was so welcoming, and the session was both fun and informative.

Went to experience some scent work for my American Akita. Being a dog trainer myself I wasn’t experienced enough to tackle this by looking at YouTube videos. So I popped along for a workshop. It was great! Good fun for the dogs, getting the dogs engaging and understanding the concept, all done in a friendly manner and Mandy was brilliant. Will recommend to everybody!

Completed the Scent Work Academy with my 6 month old spaniel. Small classes, good mix of information and practical work. Trainers were quick to respond and adapt to all the dogs needs keeping the atmosphere relaxed and fun. Really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend.

Great course for beginners in scent work, it was amazing to see my own dog sniffing things out with a purpose. Mandy runs this course very professionally and with real passion it was a pleasure, I shall be attending the next course as soon as they are available. Thank you Mandy and also Wendy her assisant.

We've loved working through our scent work journey with Mandy and Sam. So patient and informative with both us handlers and the dogs alike, and the training has definitely focused Buddy's mind! Looking forward to our first trial and more classes over the coming months. I couldn't recommend these classes enough.

My five month old pup and I had a thoroughly enjoyable time at this informative workshop. Mandy and her colleague were welcoming to all, encouraging and friendly. The group size of six dogs and handlers was perfect, plenty of space for everyone attending. Short information and instruction sessions were interspersed with practical exercises both indoors and outside. Highly recommended for anyone who would like to find out more about scent training and to have a go at a different activity with your dog.
