Marlows Diamonds

So thrilled to have come by this jewellers. They spotted us peering in the window (we had our dog with us) and promptly invited us in. Our dog received a lovely fuss from the wonderful team. The staff working there went above and beyond to create my dream ring based on one I had seen abroad the previous year. I couldn't be happier with the result. I even got to pick up the ring on the very same day! Thank you Marlows!

In stark contrast to the other reviews, we received incredible service and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. We were actually recommended by a friend. We planned to visit on the Saturday morning so I first called up to enquire if we needed to book an appointment. A lovely lady answered the phoned and advised no need to book but do arrive early as they get very busy on Saturdays. We arrived for the opening time and were the only ones in the shop. Sandeep advised us what was best for our budget and the style I wanted. He was incredibly friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I was very happy with the size of diamond we were able to have for our budget. My ring was then made to order and I collected 4 weeks later. The ring is absolutely beautiful, I still cant believe its mine. It was presented in a lovely box with warranty card and GIA card. Thank you to everyone at Marlows, see you again soon!

We needed a wedding and engagement ring for myself at short notice for our elopement wedding. After doing some research, we visited Marlow’s at the Jewellery Quarter as they had some great reviews. We had a great experience choosing the rings and they were sized and ready to take home on the same day! Very happy with my rings and the lovely experience purchasing them.

Came to Marlow’s while shopping around the JQ for a custom ring. After visiting a large number of stores we found Marlow’s to have the best customer service by far. The team was friendly and smiling from the moment we were welcomed through the door. Kay was instrumental at pulling out our wants even when we thought we weren’t sure what we were after. She professionally showed us all custom options and was patient while we tried different band and stone combinations. We decided to buy a ring from here and love it. The craftsmanship is perfect and they offer free resizing at any point post purchase. Next time we are looking for beautiful jewellery we will make sure Marlow’s (& Kay) are our first and only stop! Terrible customer service today. The lady opening the door was lovely, but the woman at the counter had such a rude manner. We were looking for engagement rings and asked to look at a bigger diamond and she refused to show us, we asked for a smaller band three times and she didn't respond. I then asked to look at wedding bands and she refused to show us until we had our engagement ring sorted, how can I choose without looking at both? She made a comment about being able to fit a budget but we didn't say what our budget was at all. Also told us there's no point looking at rings if we're not going to buy today. We just left at that point, won't be going back.

Lovely shop , great after sales service and the staff are always so nice. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks to Mariane for her help this morning, I enjoyed my visit. Always worth the drive down from Nottingham. Another 5 star visit to the store today ( 3/7/25) came to discuss part exchanging my original ring for a new one. Sandeep helped me choose a beautiful new ring and cleaned and resized another ring I had bought there previously. When I returned to collect them a couple of hours later he made a wonderful gesture. I won’t say what it was but I was a bit of an emotional wreck. You would never receive that sort of customer service from one of the High Street jewellers. Thank you from the bottom of my heart

Me and my family had viewed a lovely engagement and wedding band set at Marlow’s which we liked and received a quote for, so we went down again a week later with more family members to view these rings together in person… We did go to another shop nearby beforehand and used Marlow’s quote to try and get a better price for this set elsewhere which I’m sure 99% of customers do when ring shopping in JQ… But we went back to Marlow’s with an open mind and weren’t averse from purchasing this set from there. We went down to Marlow’s to try and get a better quote and find more info about this set. We were warmly greeted by a tall gentleman, and we were quickly seen by a lovely lady (so we thought) Sarah. We were received with warmth by Sarah, but this was soon about to change… We enquired more about this quote but her attitude and customer service to us beggared belief. Simple questions like ‘In MM, what are the width of these rings?’ were met with chuckles and a response of ‘I don’t know, you tell me’. A question of ‘what diamond cut is this ring?’ was asked, and the response received was ‘I have absolutely no idea, love’. The overall tone was condescending and dismissive. She was constantly smirking at us, treating us like second class citizens, perhaps it had something to do with our South Asian ethnicity? Or perhaps she woke up on the wrong side of the bed, I have no idea. Quite patronising responses for such simple questions. We were all quite gobsmacked by the humiliating and disrespectful way in which we were spoken to, which was a complete change from how me and my family were received when we came a week before. I decided that I did not want to spend a penny in this shop due to the horrendous customer service we received and took out business elsewhere. We visited several other shops in the Quarter and this was the only negative experience we had in the Quarter… Marlow’s, please fix up!!!
