Sadly my experience was not good due to poor communication throughout the whole process and a total lack of empathy from the solicitor dealing with my house sale and purchase. Indeed, I was at one point (while sharing my financial difficulties and worries) reminded that I was “just one of many cases’.Definitely would not recommend as I very much believe this was the worst customer service I have ever experienced in any context. There was a total reluctance to speak over the phone with me, emails ere often left unanswered, requests for updates were usually met with glib responses and I was made to feel totally unimportant. Very disappointed and I will be making an official complaint.

I've got nothing but positive words for this firm, i would like to thank Amelia Smith and philip luke especially from the edgbaston office, from first point of contact to completion Amelia was on board at all times, helped us to complete and get our keys in 5 weeks!! Very polite manner at all times kept us updated whenever we needed to know anything. Went over the line to get it completed before our mortgage offer ran out. I will recommend this firm to anyone genuinely looking for solicitors who understands their clients needs. Someone who does awnser the phone when needed, previously having a bad experience with another firm we are glad we eventually came to Talbots who have changed our lives and helped us get our first home.
