Unfortunately we’re disappointed with the service provided by Davisons Law. Ever since our offer was accepted at the beginning of April 2025, we’ve had little to none proactive contact from the company. In fact, the estate agents were the ones to provide regular updates and explaining the process/timeline to us. We’d be left in the dark otherwise. We’re now at the stage where the seller’s solicitors have already satisfied all enquiries and proposed a completion date (which we wouldn’t even know of if it wasn’t for the agent again) but we’re still awaiting ANY update from our solicitors. I was promised a call back the other day which I’m still waiting for, my emails and phone calls go unnoticed. I really expected better from Davisons Law.

Slow, tardy, incompetent claims handler. Staff are either incompetent or if decent leave the company quickly. Not sure who gives them advice on how to proceed, of course they like claims where liability is accepted easy pickings, but anything where claim denied, they re generally uninterested. All they re doing is sending a claim form to an insurer, how difficult is it the injury protocols could do with them being simpler and more transparent, especially insurers that deny liability and then spend aeons with a decision. I wouldn’t recommend S&G to anyone. I’d happily pay 30% plus other insurance/disbursements than give case this big but incompetent firm. Oh and their Customer services is the worst ever, ditto their complaint process usually written by a sworn insider late on Friday evenings with the usual findings of: nope, we didn’t do any of this, we are great, and we will improve. The firm has faced a re a lot of questions in the past from regulators and government for questionable practices.

Lack of communication. Lost Paperwork. Felt like they were not on my side. Since case started two yrs ago we have had 3 different people dealing. The first one left and no one made contact to say this had happend, we only found out after making several calls and waiting days for any response. The second person went sick with no one knowing for hoe long, eventually we were assigned another person, who seems it’s okay to take what everyone else says as fact with out even contacting us to confirm details. Not at all happy with this company. So much time has been wasted through lack of communication. Would advise people to at least think twice before even contemplating going with them

If I could give no stars I would. I cannot express enough to anyone thinking of using this company, please stay away for your own sanity! I had someone crash into me when I was pregnant and went through a horrific ordeal which turned into a nightmare with this company dealing with the claim. Apparently it’s just bad luck that I’ve had claims handlers leave and my case was forgotten repeatedly until I chased again. I have had to mentally have a break from it and surprise, no contact from them for over 12 months. I cannot believe what they do is legal, it’s disgusting how they treat people in arguably one of the most stressful times of their lives. Shocking.

Send multiple emails, rang multiple times left messages. Do not get any reply at all, no updates about my claim. Managed to speak to someone today who transferred me to someone else, was left on hold for over an hour still had no reply. What’s the point, absolutely useless.

No words can truly express the level of professionalism and support i received from BH Mohammed Solicitors. The case I was involved in deeply distrupted my personal life and peace of mind. The matter was prosecuted by the National Crime Agency (NCA).It was an allegation of money laundering potentially over £15 million.This case started in 2019 and dealt with at court from April 2025 to June 2025 a long and lengthy trial. Excellent Service and Best Solicitor
I was advised and presented by Riz Pasha, who was extremally knowledgeable, honest and supportive, recently when i found myself in a situation that required legal advise and guidance. Having never been in trouble with the police as I am an up standing citizen and abide by the Law. I was charged falsely for a crime that i did not commit and found myself not knowing what to do for the best, having a clean record i was worried about the impact this could have on me. Due to all the stress and the financial cost of fighting the allegation in court I was going to plead Guilty but thanks to Riz and his services and support he was adamant that i should not plead guilty as i was not and advised me to have faith in the justice system. Whilst i was awaiting for my case to go to The Crown Court I was advised by Riz that my case had been dropped and there was NFA. This was a relief as i was in a vulnerable position and had it not been for the way i was represented at Magistrates Court and the support from Riz in court and advice i could have potentially ended up with a criminal record and a sentence of some sort.

I would strongly advise against using this Law Firm. My experience was incredibly frustrating from start to finish. Communication was appalling — I had to chase them constantly for updates, and even then, responses were vague and unhelpful. Deadlines were repeatedly missed with no explanation or accountability. It felt like my case was not a priority at all.
The lack of professionalism was shocking. I expected a certain level of expertise and efficiency, but instead was met with delays, and a dismissive attitude whenever I raised concerns. (We wasn’t seen as humans with deadlines just another case) To make matters worse, their fees were excessive given the poor quality of service.
We ended up getting all of our updates from the estate agent, such as the exchange and completion dates.
Save yourself the stress and look else where.
Also when it comes to giving you, your money back for money you’ve over spent on their service, or due back from the morgage, good luck!
Oh they ask for documents multiple times as they “misplaced them” so be ready to send them 5 plus times to get any where

I don’t think there is a better term to describe our experience with GloverPriest Solicitors, other than NIGHTMARE.
We chose the GloverPriest team in Kings Heath for the sale of our property and the purchase of a new one, as part of a chain. Within the span of 7 months, our main solicitor has been changed 4 times. Each time, the new person took several weeks to get familiar with the case and the documentation, which was very disruptive for the process and caused a lot of delay. Then, they left the business and dumped the case on another solicitor, so that the thing would be back at square one.
Their customer service is non-existent: they lost files, they didn’t reply to emails and didn’t pick up the phone, or return our calls. They would only pick up the phone after leaving it ringing for ages.
On some occasions, some of their statements made us doubt their effective understanding of how the process of a ‘chain’ in a property transaction works, and a lack of knowledge of its complexity caused by all the moving parts connected to it.
The entire process caused us an enormous amount of effort, stress and wasted time. We missed our completion dates three times, of which one was because the designated solicitor ‘could not find’ the email from our lender confirming the timely release of funds, despite us checking multiple times with the bank that the email was sent to the right address.
The cherry on the cake was that, when we gathered information from our vendors that the planned completion date would not be achievable, due to issues in other parts of the chain, we informed them and they CHARGED US A FEE OF £180 (£90 per transaction) for having changed the completion date at the last moment!! So much for us trying to make their job easier.
We are two educated, digital-savvy professionals, and we have struggled to get this painful process over the line, with immense stress, waste of time and energy. I cannot fathom how a less educated, or elderly person, could have dealt with this.
If we could have done it ourselves, we would have. If we could give 0 stars, we would.
