Honestly the best experience I’ve ever had with a bike mechanic (possibly in general)!
It’s been two years since I rode my bike, and it needed attention. The repairs were completed really thoroughly and he explained everything in an easy to understand way.
Can’t recommend highly enough! Easy to get to from the train station and I would say it was worth any journey. Wouldn’t trust anyone else now.

Fox is brilliant at his job! He explains everything really well and his expertise when it comes to mechanics is outstanding. My bike is riding a lot better than what I thought possible. He is very reasonably priced and made some great suggestions for future work and tips on how to keep my bike riding smooth. I feel lucky to have found such a gem of a place. If you aren’t already convinced, thanks to the tons of pictures and reviews already then listen. This is where you want to go if you have pretty much any issue with your bicycles. You get taught and explanations on what is going on, why and how to prevent it happening again.

After my experience I left feeling confident and having an amazing ride which felt better than before needing to get my repair. Please give the Red Fox District your time and faith. I will be coming/going back and that is without a doubt!

Mr Fox is a real find. Very meticulous at what he does.
Very prompt and great service to have.
He converted my TT Bike to a Road bike after an impulse buy.
Got the specifications of my bike. Found the correct drop bars, changed gear shifters to 105s, changed cables, new bar tape, service, sizing the bike for me and lots more.
Literally saved my life if had took the TT bike on the roads by me!
He also services my other Road bike and commuting bike also.

Went to Fox at Red Fox Cycling to get my front brakes bled. He was really friendly and did a great job, brakes feel perfect now. Definitely recommend!

I first met fox a couple of years ago at snow and rock and kept in touch. I wanted my road bike stripped down and rebuilt/full service. I’ve booked a E- bike online for deliveries today annd when I visited to the Zoomo shop.
Experience was great. Great customer service staff very kind and explained all the polices to me. He was amazing guy.
I also met a person called Fye who was working with Just fixing just eat bikes in Birmingham Hub.

The staff gave me a discount as well.

I had excellent customer service with brothers Kaashif and Fye, I am returning customer and both brothers had great comunication skills and team work skills, they both had given me a warm welcome back and ensured that I leave the store satisfied with my new Zoomo Bike ready to to get on the road to enjoy. They give fast response for any enquiries and I know Fye for litterally 3-4 years from Zoomo in the Birmingham City Centre Hub and he has always given me great customer service and when ever I had a problem with my bike Fye would always help me get back on to the road ASAP. Hardworking brothers.

I Had an amazing experience with Kash today, I came in last minute without a valid appointment because I made a mistake but he still took his time and looked after me , gave me a lot of advice around the ins and outs of the job and sorted me out a nice bike same day , he even gave me discounts where possible. Great customer service , down to earth guy, I could tell he take pride in his job even in the way he delt with other customers while I was there . If you are considering them do yourself a favour and pay them a visit , just make sure to book an appointment through their website first because they get very busy sometimes!

Had a great experience hiring an e-bike here. The team clearly explained all the terms and conditions upfront, so everything felt transparent and straightforward. They even gave my bike a quick check and fix to make sure it was in perfect shape before I took off. The customer service was excellent—friendly, helpful, and professional. I was even offered a drink while I waited, which was a really nice touch. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a smooth, well-organized e-bike hire!

Needed a new bottom bracket and crankset for my road bike. Venture had it sorted in no time along with resolving a cable routing issue. Great service and value, highly recommended!

Came off my bike in the morning, needed the rear derailleur re aligned as it had taken a knock.
The service was quick well priced and there was no faffing about or attempt at flogging additional unnecessary work, brilliant all round. I would recommend over any of the other local places.

Excellent local bike shop. Serviced and changed the suspension bearings on my Canyon ebike. The rear suspension was smoother than when I purchased it from new. Fast efficient service and a great price. A lot of bike shops wouldn’t even look at the job but Ben took it all in his stride.

Venture Bikes provide a fantastic all round service, they replied within minutes after hours when I messaged them a picture of my issue. Communication was excellent, letting me know what the options with the repair would be and then responding promptly when updates were requested. The pricing was very reasonable and they even helped me out cost free when I managed to bend my wheel shortly after leaving through my own fault. This is the kind of service that means I would never consider going anywhere else.

Been here a few times for either mine or my daughter’s bikes to get looked at. The brothers are always so welcoming and look after us.
My son’s scooter wheel fell off while we were only a few feet away. Popped in to see if they could help. They sorted it there and then.

Owner is polite, friendly informative. Great after care through calls social media or f2f.

Sorted a really tricky alignment issues, torque arm issues and some gear maintenance to a very high standard for a cheap price, within 2 days of dropping my e-bike. 10/10 would recommend.

My experience of visiting Ladypool cycles has been extremely positive. Although very busy, the staff find the time to diagnose the problem and explain in detail what work is required often by WhatsApp . Sometimes they fix the problem while you wait or they ask you to leave the bike for a few days. Their charges are very reasonable and the customer service is excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ladypool cycles to anyone.

The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable about all sorts of bikes. It helps that the guys are passionate about cycling as their suggestions/recommendations seem to be based on their experience as opposed to what might get them the most amount of money.

The owner is very down to earth and extremely customer centric. If he’s not available, his son is, which means you always have the option of speaking to the owners if you need to.

I have been using these guys for a number of years now and I cannot recommend them enough.

I took my bike to Sprocket Cycles today to ask their advice. They were really knowledgeable and helpful. Great guys. I was offered a free – bike health and safety check. My bike was there for an hour. I had a good chat with them and now feel peace of mind they’ve checked it out and sorted a few things for me. A lovely bike shop in Digbeth with great customer service. I crashed my bike really bad an I counted like 8-10 separate issues I brought it in they fixed it in a day and charged me £45 I’m 90% sure if I went to Halfords or where I bought it from I’d have been out of Atleast £100. My bike didn’t run and now it feels as sweet as when I just bought it they even cleaned all the gunk around my chain. Best bike shop wouldn’t go anywhere else. They got quality tools an cleaning kit too

Best part is my bike feels like it should not repaired one place or broke another so if your having any issues big or small with your bike this is the place to take it to. Thanks guys

Despite being a small business, they have a good selection of products. What I like about them is they take the jobs other shops do usually refuse. The opening times is from Wednesday to Saturday, so it is better to give them a call before going. Lastly, they sell fully serviced second hand bikes and prices (including service) seem more than reasonable.

Quick turnaround time, They didnt have long left of being open but still were happy ro repair my bike and replace parts. Great price too and my bike runs smoothly now. Very friendly guys too.

Adrian went the extra mile!! Stayed on after closing to provide us with an ‘emergency’ replacement bike lock!

Had a rear-wheel luggage rack installed at Halfords, wasn’t properly tightened and came off as soon as I left the house – could’ve been really dangerous if I’d been on the road. Popped into the bike foundry – they tightened the bolts, checked the rest of the install, and shortened two of the poles so the rack was properly level. Took them less than 5 minutes, and they didn’t even charge for such a small repair. It makes such a difference as a new cyclist having somewhere reliable & friendly nearby. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Used for a fix to a gear shifter and had a great experience with Chris who fixed my bike. The shop really take their time to give you advice and options which are more cost effective and don’t just give the most expensive option. Very much appreciated

This place is an absolute gem, brought my sons bike in as it needed a lot of work doing to it for his birthday and they helped us out so much, they went above and beyond what they needed to do ! the one staff member who worked on my sons bike was a life saver ! Team were great; extracting a seized seatpost efficiently and with minimal fuss using their purpose made jig. Saved an otherwise doomed carbon frame. Would highly recommend.

The bike basics course was incredible! I learnt so much and am now a much more confident with checking, handling and maintaining my bike! I had a really great time and Allama was an amazing teacher!!!

Talk about great service! I didn’t have an appointment, but they still managed to fix my son’s bike while I waited. The guy who helped me was super helpful and the price was fair. I was also really impressed with their second-hand bikes—they have a lot of them with affordable prices. It’s definitely the kind of place you’ll want to go back to.

Excellent customer service, exceptionally reasonable pricing and very quick, wasted no time in getting started on the repair. Would highly recommend this bike repair shop. Many thanks to Mr Mehmet, who is a knowledgeable man that repaired other issues I had no idea of, made the bike from a clunky mess to a bike that rides smoothly, even taught me how to change gears so I don’t cause the same issue to happen. 10/10

..AVOID.. at all costs. I took a brand new bike that only needed brake fluid. He took off my new brakes and gave me old rusty ones which didn’t even need replacing. He lost the cap on the brakes and wanted me to buy new ones. I believe he makes problems to get more money from unknowing customers, if he could have stripped the rest of my bike he would have . He’s no better than a dodgey mechanic. I do not trust his ethos and frankly appalled at his lack of customer service. Rather go to Halfords to ensure safe practice.

Great service at an affordable price. I went in as I was having issues with my gears, and upon bringing in my bike they were quick, helpful and straightforward about prices which are very reasonable. I certainly will be returning for any service/repair needs.

What a fantastic owner nothing is to much trouble for him . I took my bike back a few times after buying and he helped me so much , I even exchanged the bike 2 days later as it was not suitable for my 13 yr old son . He is always happy to help and even sold a helmet which was Dunlop for £5 brand new which I found out later they are around £25 online . If anyone looking for a second hand bike this is your place . Very good prices for some decent bikes . Just WhatsApp him and he will reply quickly would definitely reckoned this shop .

Very good prices for the second hand bikes and they are in good condition. After sale service is available too. We did get a discount for our purchase we got 3 bikes from there. It’s 100% worth a visit. I will definitely be back and already recommended some friends to go there for bikes.

I bought a second hand bike for my 10 year olds a short time ago .unfortunately I’ve misplaced the receipt ..things started falling off it ,pretty soon after purchase ,mud guards ,rubber on the handle bars .started comming away .ive took it to another bike shop (found ary bikes )and they said it’s a death trap and not repairable ..

I was walking on the street and was inexplicably yelled at by the man in blue in the photo. His voice was so loud that I was startled. I don’t know this man. I don’t know why the British are so rude? This country was like this hundreds of years ago, liked aggression and robbery, but now there is no progress at all?

After a poor and overpriced service at Kings Heath Bike Pro, I came to Bargain Bikes and was amazed at the quality of service. Not only that, but they took in my two bikes straight away (unlike the one on the High Street) and fixed them in less than an hour, even though it was already about closing time. The bikes are now as good as new! Price is very fair and people are always friendly. I’ll definitely come back, highly recommend it!

Absolutley great place for any bike repairs or to buy a new bike. Took my sons bike in for new brakes after being quoted £60 at another local bike store, they put new brakes cables, levers and pads on for £25. They let my son try out a few of the bikes in the shop too and gave him some free stunt pegs. I won’t use any where else for my cycling needs in future. 5 stars.

We ordered a kit from them costing over £800 . My son used it all of 3 times and it wouldn’t work. We sent it back in which they kept it for 3 months with very little contact or responses from them. It was sent back to us thrown in a box with no bubble wrap or anything to protect expensive parts and parts were missing and damaged . We then had to Message again and again to get these parts sent out which again took a long time. We were given £20 compensation for something that took over 4 months to resolve in which again we had to wait for. Even after getting the kit back it still doesn’t work and the company said they would touch it again. We have since had to buy a new one from another company as we were left with basically a shit product that didn’t work. Will never buy or recommend this company ever totally waste of time and money

Ordered a 72v 3000w kit for my bike, paid for express delivery. I accidentally ordered a 20’ wheel in stead of a 29 like I needed, the boys at my perfect e bike changed it and got it dispatched very fast, I was shocked how fast it all come. Can’t recommend enough. You get what it says on the tin.

I went to three different bike shops who all said my folding ebike wasn’t worth repairing. Then I found this one. They quoted me for the repair, and then phoned me when it was ready. It cost £30:00. I was delighted.

Kit broke after 2 days of ownership and doesn’t look like im gonna get a new motor after talking with the company not worth the hassle and cost
