I recently completed the makeup course at AR Makeup and Beauty Academy, and it was an amazing experience! Hygiene was a top priority throughout the course — everything was always clean, disinfected, and professionally organized, which made me feel safe and confident while learning.

I learned so many useful techniques and valuable information about makeup, products, and proper application. The trainer was extremely friendly, patient, and at the same time very professional. She always explained everything clearly and offered support whenever I needed it.

The location of the academy was also wonderful — easy to find, spacious, and beautifully arranged, which created a relaxing and welcoming learning environment. I highly recommend this academy to anyone who wants to learn professional makeup in a clean, supportive, and well-prepared setting!

I reached out to Adela for a makeup look for my graduation day, and I was honestly so, so happy with how it turned out.

I arrived without having any ideas about how the makeup should look or what would suit me, but Adela immediately came up with several suggestions. She was super friendly, knowledgeable, and very patient.
My eye area is particularly dry, and I have some quite prominent dark circles, but Adela took the time to properly cover the area and made sure everything looked perfect. She truly is someone who goes above and beyond for her customers.

First visiting this new tanning salon and was really impressed! Receptionist was really helpful and so friendly, the beds were really clean and the atmosphere and music was fab! I tried Shiny Barbers for the first time today and I had an excellent experience and haircut. Kaka made me feel welcomed and takes his time to get to know you too which is nice. He exactly knew what kind of haircut I wanted which is a sign of an amazing barber. I had the best haircut and I would be definitely going to his shop from now on. First time at this barbers. Was unsure first as I got a young barber as everyone else was busy. Same age as my son Ramazan done a fantastic job. He listened to my requirements and followed my instructions perfectly. Will be going again soon.

I had a great time at Vivid Ink. The place itself is so chic looking and clean and artistic to say the least!

My artist was Paulina and she was so welcoming (this was my first tattoo) and helpful in prep and aftercare. The staff at the entrance are also so lovely and warm-hearted. I couldn’t recommend them MORE to people in Birmingham for their tattoos!

My mum also got herself another nose piercing and said they were so much easier than anywhere else she’s been and have a great selection!

Had my very first tattoo done here and everything was handled swiftly as well as professionally. For a first timer I didn’t really know what to expect so my advice is do your research, that said Harvey is extremely talented and has helped me every step of the way when it comes to healing my tattoo as well as application. Got my tattoo booked last month for today with Sean, everyone in there is so lovely and helpful. I booked in with Paulina who took the time to really nail the design and get the elements just right, her service was friendly and professional.

Not only did she take the time to design the tattoo perfectly but she also listened to any input I had on the design.

The studio was clean and sanitised, during the tattooing she kept checking in with me making sure I was comfortable.

I recently had my wedding ceremony and I came across Taran’s work on instagram. I wanted to get extensions added to my hair.
I had no idea what I wanted, just a photo. Taran really gave me more than expected and left me in shock after the results. She added weight, thickness and length to my hair beautifully.

At the start I booked a consultation with her which was quick and easy as she talked me through the process. When I visited Taran what I loved most was her honesty. I had my hair highlighted from another establishment and after applying the toner they left me with a green tint to my hair which she noticed straight away! Taran’s professionalism to handle the situation with that establishment was unreal, something she didn’t have to do for me but she wasn’t letting anything ruin my big day!
They had to re tone my hair only leaving Taran with 2 days to match my hair extension colour, the ordering process and fitting!! Can I just say she really did make dreams come true for me. She matched 3 colours perfectly with my highlights, she knew the perfect length I needed for my vision and after fitting wow they didn’t even look like extensions. I was very very happy with the results and she really left everyone at my event in wows, even a week after the event I get so many compliments on my hair and how amazing my highlight are and when I say they are extensions, everyone says it’s shocking how perfect colour match they are.

Taran is amazing at what she does, and provides so many other services. I haven’t just found an amazing beauty therapist but also an honest human-being. She could have matched extensions to my horribly toned hair but no she helped me create the perfect look for my big day and kept me going even when I almost gave up! I highly recommended Taran for all your beauty needed you really won’t be disappointed!!

The best barbers experience I’ve had to date, 10/10. When I arrived, the staff were super welcoming and accommodating and even offered me a drink whist I waited. The whole place felt relaxed but still so professional. Bobby was amazing, not only is he just a top bloke and made me feel really welcomed and relaxed, but his experience and skill was obvious straight away. It was clear he genuinly cares about giving you the best hair cut possible. He also gave me some really useful advice on what hair style would suit me best and for the occasion as well as styling, without being pushy at all. He was just a great guy to have a chat with, the service was so personal and unhurried and I walked out with my best haircut! Will definitely be coming back.

All of the barbers here are top quality, Dale runs a tight ship. I have been going for a number of years now and my regular barber is Charlie, he always give an excellent cut and a laugh – funny guy. I enjoy the gin and tonic on arrival. Barber house definitely is best in class. I travel from Northampton just for the impeccable service.

Staff are amazing, well mannered and polite. I highly recommend coming here and using the sunbeds. Always clean and tidy, Always get perfect results from using the beds, all girls are amazing who work here.

Sunbeds are always clean and tidy, there’s multiple beds so there’s never a massive wait. The girls are so friendly and helpful! Wouldn’t use any other beds! Always a good range of creams available to purchase too!

I had an amazing experience with Jag at the laser clinic. I did laser hair removal with her, and she works with true care and professionalism. From the first session, she made me feel comfortable and explained everything clearly. She’s very detail-oriented and keeps everything super clean. The results were great and noticeable early on. She is very professional and attentive, giving me clear instructions before, during, and after the treatment. I booked a full face laser package and had my first session today. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Although I chose an afternoon slot to avoid the rush, the session still felt rushed and lasted only a few minutes. On top of that, not all areas of my face were properly covered, despite having paid for a full face treatment. I pointed this out both to the therapist and at the reception. I truly hope future sessions are more thorough and not as rushed, covering the entire face as agreed.

Had my consultation today and have to say I was pleased with it. Arrived to a friendly greeting, and everyone so helpful. Had my consultation with Jag. We spoke for a little while about what I wanted but got straight down to it. Being ginger the laser wasn’t going to work for me, Jag was so apologic, and helped me with some ideas of how to reduce the hair, to which I was very thankful for. It also meant I didnt spend a load of money on something that wouldn’t of worked! Its shame really but I have already recommended this place 3 times today alone since leaving the appointment. And if the tech does advance to be able to pick up on ginger hair I will be straight back! Thanks to everyone there but an massive big up to Jag

I met with Dominique for my 10th session, she was so lovely and gave great advice on aftercare and how to top up my laser treatments. She was a pleasure to talk to and made me feel so comfortable.

I had the pleasure of receiving treatment from Jag, and I can confidently say she is highly skilled and deeply knowledgeable in her field. Constantine is a great laser therapist she makes me feel so comfortable and I’ve seen amazing results with the laser. It’s bc of Constantine I travel to Birmingham to get my laser! Came in for a men’s haircut after years. I had long hair that was really damaged. My stylist Chad, who also happens to be the owner, was absolutely phenomenal. Superbly skilled and knowledgeable. I was having a hard time deciding what cut I wanted, so I had him do what he thought was best, and it turned out great! I felt very comfortable during the session. It was lovely talking to him. Also gave me advice on taking proper care of my hair. Believe me when I say that you can absolutely trust this man with your hair. Never been this happy with a haircut. Highly recommend!

I had an incredible experience at this salon! After a terrible eyebrow appointment, I walked in feeling pretty desperate, and they took me in right away. My stylist, was amazing! She did a fantastic job cutting my hair, taking into account my very curly texture, and still gave me a fresh, cute look without taking off too much. She even let me play around with my hair and gave me great tips. I’d give her a 10 out of 10 and definitely recommend this place!
