First time ever trying pottery, booked via ClassBento for my Mom’s 60th birthday as we both love the Great Pottery Throwdown. There were four of us in our class and we had an absolutely fantastic time! Abi our teacher was brilliant – really knowledgable, enthusiastic and very reassuring and patient with us when my pots went a little askew. The small group size in the class really gave her time to focus on each of us and help us develop our skills as we were all first-time potters. Thoroughly enjoyed the session and feel like I really learned a lot in a short time, I would absolutely love to try again at this studio and might even take up classes in the future! Felt like a really reasonable price for the experience as well. Would definitely recommend to couples or small family or friend groups.

This is a great school, I was very pleased with my time here as I got to improve my skills in mixing and producing music significantly. The instructor Marc Spence was very knowledgable and very hands on with his teaching making every session feel special and tailored for your own needs and ambitions. I found the courses to be excellent, and my tutor (Marc Spence) to be friendly, experienced and knowledgable! Before starting my first lesson, I had no experience or knowledge of DJ’ing, and I found the beginners’ course to be really good at getting me accustomed to the equipment and comfortable with mixing! The intermediate and advanced courses then built up on that, and took me to becoming comfortable performing at very good standard. Marc was always happy to answer any questions, recommend to me best practices or better approaches to a given situation, and helped me boost my DJ’ing confidence as well as skills! Not only do they care but they will go the extra mile especially if you show a reasonable amount of dedication. Thanks to the A Team Academy, I was able to arrange for my son to sit an A level exam independently and he successfully got his results (in Aug 2023).
His school refused to help as the exam was outside their syllabus. I struggled to even get a response from various other independent centers for the exam until I found A Team Academy.
I found the A Team Academy responsive and took time to promptly reply to my (numerous) questions initially when setting up the exam. And his exam dates went well without any issues.
